Some dialogue I can get behind: Nigerian bishop calls fanatical islamists satanic October 8, 2014

If we’re going to have dialogue, it may as well be honest, and not the endless, indifferent and inconsequential torrents of pointless verbiage (but always in the most pleasant of settings) that characterize the ecumenical/interreligious “movement” of the past 50 years.  Here’s a little honesty from a shepherd of souls who knows exactly what islam is in its purer, more undiluted form:

“Christians must do everything within their powers to protect their lives from being snuffed off by Satanist-driven Islamic organizations,” Bishop Joseph Bagobiri, the Roman Catholic head of Nigeria’s Kafanchan Diocese, said Sunday, according to Nigeria’s Vanguard newspaper.

Bishop Bagobiri also noted, according to the Vanguard, that Christians have a “grave duty” to use “moderate and proportionate force” to defend their families against Islamic groups such asBoko Haram, which is responsible for the deaths of thousands of civilians since 2009.

Boko Haram became internationally known after it staged a mass kidnapping of more than 250 Nigerian schoolgirls in April. Only one has reportedly escaped in nearly five months.

Not fighting back is a “gross act of irresponsibility,” the bishop said at a Sunday reception, pointing out that “Christian communities that observe absolute pacifism have all ceased to exist…….. [It can also be gravely immoral, a failure of charity for those around us unable or unwilling to defend themselves]

…….On Monday, the Nigerian Catholic Church released a statement: “As a church, we are really going through a severe moment of persecution,” particularly in the three Northeastern states of Borno, Yobe and Adamawa.”

The statement was signed by Rev. Fr. Gideon Obasogie, director of social communication for the Catholic Diocese of Maiduguri, who lamented the fact that “in the last few weeks our churches numbering 154 have been deserted. [I have read elsewhere that 185 Catholic parishes have been destroyed by satanic islamists in Nigeria alone in the past year or two]

“While our people perish, inaction, or rather slow action is what we get. Political activities in neighbouring communities are ongoing as though nothing is at stake,” Obasogie added…….

……“While Muslims are sometimes targets of these destructive attacks, Christians, churches and non-Muslims in general are the principal targets for extermination, expropriation and expulsion by the Boko Haram insurgents, the perpetrators of all these destructions,” they emphasized.

Regarding the point above about it being a failure of charity to fail to defend oneself, one’s neighbor, loved ones, etc, from external threat, obviously, prudence, geographic separation, and many other factors enter in.  But it may be desirable, from many points of view, to engage an enemy to one’s religion far abroad when possible, rather than waiting for the threat to get closer to home.  And, even our most “ecumenical” Holy Father has, in a sense, decreed a crusade, in saying that the egregious atrocities of islamists around the world warrant a proportionate armed response.  I’m still fairly equivocal about the US performing this role, for a number of reasons – one of the foremost being that any armed intervention conducted by the US most certainly would not be for religious reasons, but for general humanitarian reasons, at best, and there are always the lurking possibilities of dire ulterior motives or unforeseen problems arising from the ineptitude of the current administration.  There is also the fact that we’re beyond broke, but maybe that’s less a bug than a feature, if one looks to a future beyond the current political organization of middle North America.

I do think it high time that nations like Nigeria start protecting their Catholic populations and stop all the corruption those African kleptocracies are so infamous for.  But, I may as well hope to be King of the Moon that there will be any change in the nature of African (or Mideast) governance anytime soon.  In this day and age, there are precious few good guys to root for.  And the pious innocents just continue to suffer.

Speaking of anti-islamist combat, a couple of rather cool photos from recent US airpower activities over Syria, including an image from one of the first F-22 strike missions and a great shot of a Bone going full afterburner after refueling.  The Bone is beloved of ground troops because it can remain in full burner for a loooong time and travel almost half again as fast as other aircraft (~700 kts), most fighters being limited to about 450 kts by external ordinance, and cuts reaction time down quite a bit.  The F-22 may be even better, if it has the gas for it, able to cruise at almost 1000 kts in supercruise mode.  The F-22 is not slowed down by external ordinance (most folks have no idea of how much penalty there is from hanging all those bombs, fuel tanks, missiles, etc, on the outside of an aircraft), because it carries all ordinance internally.  There are times when an A-10 can cruise almost as fast as a heavily laden F-16!

Air strikes in Syria

That’s 124,000 pounds of screaming go power right there.  A B-1 in full afterburner is the loudest aircraft I have ever heard.

In certain parts of the world, Catholics face annihilation at the hands of maniacal Moslems.

Catholics must fend for themselves in defense of each other and Holy Mother Church.

The United States of America, a so-called “Christian nation”, will not defend Catholics throughout the world (Eastern Orthodox and Protestants included) who face destruction at the hands of maniacal Moslems.

Said Catholics will not receive protection from the United Nations.

Catholics in Islamic nations are unable to rely upon their Islamic governments to protect them from maniacal Moslems who seek to annihilate Catholics and Holy Mother Church.

Therefore, only two practical options (prayer is, of course, a major part of each option) exist to deliver Catholics from their maniacal Moslem persecutors:

1. Pope Francis must form a movement to remove persecuted Catholics from various Islamic nations.

His Holiness must use his awesome authority to persuade certain nations (I believe that France has offered to bring Iraqi Catholics to France) to accept persecuted Catholics.

A special collection, for example, throughout the Church, would be one way to raise funds to move persecuted Catholics to safe nations.

2. Pope Francis must call for the formation of a Holy Crusader force to rescue persecuted Catholics.

If Tantumblogo pleases, I will continue my post. Thank you.

Moslems from here and there have traveled to Iraq/Syria to join ISIL.

Pope Francis could, in turn, request that Holy Catholic men from around the world form a Holy Crusader protection force for Catholics (as well as additional religious minorities) persecuted in Iraq, Syria, Nigeria…etc.

Pope Francis could employ his authority to persuade Italy, for example, to lend itself to Holy Catholic Crusaders as a staging area.

From there, under governmental and military leadership supplied from such ancient Catholic countries as Italy, France and Spain, one…two…three…ten million holy Catholic Crusaders (and, if the following are inclined: Eastern Orthodox, Protestant and other men of goodwill) would rush to the aid of persecuted Catholics…as well as Eastern Orthodox, Protestants and various religious minorities…where needed.

With Tantumblogo’s permission, I continue…

I believe that the following is certain:

The past 50 or so years of Rome’s “interfaith” so-called “dialogue”, particularly as said “dialogue” has concerned Islam, has flopped in one way after another.

Worst of all, said flop has resulted in countless Catholics having been trampled by maniacal Moslems.

The utter nonsense practiced by our Popes, Cardinals, bishops in regard to Islam…kissing the Quran, an Imam at the Vatican gardens praying for the conquest of non-Moslems, Churchmen praying at Mosques, Ramadan greetings issued by Popes, Cardinals and bishops…

…the endless nonsense of having refused to acknowledge that Moslem-inflicted beheadings and persecutions of Catholics and others are simply practices that “authentic” Islam, as practiced by many Moslems, permits…

…has rendered Catholics incapable of defending themselves and Holy Mother Church against maniacal Moslems.

Our Churchmen gather with their so-called “moderate” Moslems pals…dine with them…conduct egg-head discussion with them…

…while outside their palaces, hundreds of thousands of Catholic men, women and children have been forced from their ancient villages, raped and murdered by Moslems.

Said Moslems couldn’t care less about our Churchmen’s useless egg-headed pronouncements in regard to so-called “authentic” Islam.

The tens of millions of Moslems who, at the very least, offer moral support to Islamic terrorists, laugh at our Churchmen’s declarations that this or that Islamic terrorist group doesn’t practice “authentic” Islam.

From Pope Francis on down, our Churchmen must cease now their failed “interreligious” policy in regard to Islam.

Our Churchmen must wake up now…or in various parts of the world, Islam will overrun Catholics and that which remains of Holy Mother Church.

Pope Francis has said that he welcomes criticism from Catholics (and others).

His Holiness, at the current Synod in Rome, informed said Synod’s participants to speak freely…do not be afraid to say something that they fear would offend him.

Well, as a Catholic laymen, I am simply adhering to the above principle.

As a Catholic who loves Pope Francis and is in communion with His Holiness, I speak as lowly man who believes that the Vatican II Era “interreligious dialogue” with Moslems has inflicted great damage upon Holy Mother Church and countless Church Militant Faithful,

I believe that many Vatican II Era Roman policies, such as the liturgical “reform” (revolution) has harmed the Church.

As recognized by Canon Law, I simply exercise my right as a Catholic to make known to Church authorities my Catholic-related concerns.

Dear Pope Francis, please restore Holy Tradition throughout Holy Mother Church.

Please end the horrific collapse of the Catholic Religion.

By the way, a Holy Catholic Crusader protection force could very easily work in peace with Moslems of goodwill who also suffer at the hands of maniacal Moslems.

Also…in Iraq, for example, certain folks (such as Joe Biden) have proposed the dividing Iraq along religious/ethnic lines.

Why have Catholics been excluded from said proposal?

Catholics lived in Iraq centuries prior to Islam having arrived in Iraq.

For that matter, Catholicism existed centuries prior to the creation of Islam.

Beyond that, in a certain sense, the Catholic Church has existed forever.

I once met a brave Nigerian Bishop who has a price on his head from the Islamics militants. He maintained a sense of humor, “any Nigerian Priest that wants graduate study I will not take, what good is it in the bush?”

Pope Francis has a mission and that is to proclaim the 5th Marian Dogma and to fulfill the Consecration of Russia. Oh wait, to turn over the rot in Rome and expose it,,, unbeknowest to himself. A recent message from Our Lady to Pedro Regis of Brazil “the poison is in the tree not in the fruits” and She also said beware of “half truths”
Let it fall, let it fall. The Schism it a long time coming clearly the 2 previous Popes held it off but it is no longer sustainable, Malachi Martin was right, the human side of the Catholic Institution is kaput.

Mohammedanism is maniacal by its nature; it’s a gutter religion. Show me a “moderate” Moslem and I’ll show you what we would call one of our own: a “cultural” Catholic — loaded down with syncretism. We must pray for them — but also accept the fact that if a Moslem is a true Moslem — he/she is maniacal by definition.
