I’m going to be speaking on the issue of ‘social justice’ at the Frontiers of Flight Museum, at Love Field, tomorrow night.  The event is sort of part rally for Pastor Stephen Broden, who is running for Congress against the very problematic Eddie Bernice Johnston, and part Tea Party deal, but since it’s being organized by Vicki Middleton, there will of course be a heavy Catholic flavor.  Steve Kellmeyer will also be speaking.

The party begins at 5 and lasts till 9.  I’m probably going to speak during the 8 o’ clock hour.  Come and check it out.  It’s FREE!  And it’s catered!  And it’s in a really cool place, if you’ve never been to the Frontiers of Flight Museum, you should go and see my favorite all time aircraft

The Frontiers of Flight Museum is at 6911 Lemmon Ave Dallas 75209.  Come and check it out!

Free? Catered?

Crusader? That’s interesting. Why? Not speed…it would be the SR-71. A friend of mine flew the A-10 and the F-117…he liked the Nighthawk better… Guess I just better come tomorrow night and ask you in person, eh? 😉

Sounds like a delightful evening. Seriously, I’m going to try to manipulate the schedule and see if we can be there!

Many reasons, some just aesthetic – I like the way the Crusader looks. Plus, it was the ‘last of the gunfighters,’ with guns as primary armament. All 1,261 Crusaders were built it Dallas. Every pilot I’ve talked to that flew one said it was their favorite aircraft to fly. A real dream. The Crusader had the best kill-ratio of any combat aircraft in the Vietnam war – over 6:1. Then there was the XF8U-3, which would have been even more incredible, but Congress wouldn’t fund both it and the F-4 Phantom II, so the Navy had to choose, and chose the Phantom for various reasons.

Watch out, if I get talking about this, it will never end.

Hey Colleen and Larry…I’d love to see you guys there. We’ll see what we can do on short notice. Is Angela coming out, too?

Doubtful, Cori. Benedict is pretty sick, but I may have a couple of the girls with me. I doubt i get there before 6:30 or so. Vicki thought I would probably speak before Steve, so probably around 8:15 or so.

Cori, it will be awesome to see you!!! We can catch up and continue planning. 😉 I have something that I can’t get out of, so I can’t be there until 6:30 or so.

Oh…those links aren’t working, so we don’t know what time. Gotta tell the babysitter (yes, that means Michael and I will be there). Hope all is well with you all.

[…] we’ve been on the radio together several times and just recently at the Pastor Broden rally I spoke at, I joked that since I was speaking before Steve, he was stuck with me as his MC and intro guy […]
