In your charity and mercy, please pray for the Adams family August 14, 2010

My second oldest daughter plays a great deal of soccer. She used to play with a very good little 9 y/o goalie. Her last name was Adams. We knew this family, if not really well, probably a bit more than acquaintances. The tragedy that has befallen this family is heart-stomping:
2 year old Carson Adams became at least the ninth child in Texas to die this year in a manner that shows no signs of stopping. At least 33 children nationwide have died in hot cars this year, tying last year’s total.
This has hit me like a 2×12, and I didn’t know little Carson too well. I cannot fathom what her family must be going through. Please pray that the anguish of their bereavement may be assuaged by God’s mercy and forgiveness. I don’t have much else to say, other than that many people praying for them must surely aid them in this unthinkable time. I am so very very very sorry.
St. Maximillian Kolbe, pray for us all. Our Lady of Dolours, pray for us. Jesus, save us.
Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.
