OK, not so gooda memories here, but this is just asinine.
OK, so burgers aren’t the best thing for you, but only a complete idiot would compare them to heroin. It trivializes what an unholy terror heroin is, and it makes burgers into something they’re not – an incredibly dangerous substance that can kill you in a single, small dose, and one so horribly addictive you can be hooked on your first, second, third hit. What a joke. I like burgers, and I loved opioids, but there is absolutely no comparison between the two. This is not a sensible ad campaign aimed at improving public health, this is relentless, lockstep leftist dogooderism run rampant, yet again. This is the kind of propaganda that leads to certain types of food being outlawed.

I thought this was going to be one of those PETA ads where they say “pigs are raised in filthy factory farms, so you shouldn’t eat pork” (to which I say, “most pigs are raised in filthy factory farms, so I choose to find pork that is not raised that way”).
So, burgers aren’t good for us, but let’s show everyone some pretty detailed things about drugs. That doesn’t set well.
Now some addict parent is going to justify – well if others are going to eat hamburgers, then I can go shoot up, or worse yet, get my kids high; no difference.
There are some real wackos out there.
