Abortion mill – flush your born alive baby down toilet

I’m pretty sure even in the insane world of abortion laws, that would constitute murder. But I have to wonder how many such grisly murders have been perpetrated by desperate or deranged or icily jaded women over the years.

Live Action has been a bit quiet for a while, but now, in conjunction with the Gosnell trial, they have released a new series of videos that show just how inhumane the abortion industry is.  As if we needed reminders, but apparently, most Americans choose to remain willfully ignorant of the barbarity of this industry.  I pray this may wake up many souls:

In a new undercover, investigative video, a staffer at an abortion clinic in Bronx, New York is shown on film telling a customer to flush the body of a baby born alive following a failed abortion down the toilet.

The video shows how the kinds of gruesome late-term and live-birth abortions done at abortion practitioner Kermit Gosnell‘s “House of Horrors” abortion clinic are not limited to his abortion facility alone.

The pro-life group Live Action today released an undercover video of an abortion counselor at a clinic describing, in gruesome details, what is done with a baby that survives an abortion attempt.  This is the first in a series of videos Live Action will release videos , found atwww.liveaction.org/inhuman, that will show a number of late-term abortion clinics engaging in illegal and inhuman practices, as well as explaining in explicit detail what happens to the victims of late-term abortion.

“Dr. Kermit Gosnell is not an aberration, ” said Lila Rose, Founder and President of Live Action.  “The gruesome and brutal practices exposed in Gosnell’s ‘House of Horrors’ are business as usual for the abortion industry in America.  Nationwide, it’s just another day at the office.”

In the video, the abortion counselor is caught on tape describing, in gruesomely precise terms, how late-term abortions happen.  She details what is done with a baby after the abortion and advises to “flush” the baby down the toilet if he or she is delivered at home before the final stage of the two- or three-day abortion procedure.

“If it comes out, then it comes out. Flush it. … if anything, you know, put it in a bag or something or somewhere and bring it to us.”

When Live Action’s undercover investigator asks what happens to the baby after the abortion – or what the clinic would do if, after the abortion, the baby is moving – the counselor says:

“If it did come out in one piece, it’s very small.  So they would still have to put it in a container – like, a jar – with solution and send it to the lab.”

Many pro-lifers, myself included, have pointed out during the Gosnell trial that the procedures he follows, the horrific, filthy environment he operates in, are common throughout the abortion industry. The abortion industry has lobbied very hard to prevent having to follow accepted medical standards for invasive, surgical-type procedures. There have been numerous scandals involving unimaginably unsanitary conditions at abortion mills around the country. Gosnell’s was perhaps even worse than these, but the difference is degree, not type. And there have been more and more botched abortions reported, with 911 calls placed and women transported to hospitals in extreme duress.  And the lies…….the lies are what define the abortion industry. Their entire existence is founded on the lie of “blob of tissue,” “non-viable,” and at root, “not human.”  All of which are horrific, monstrous lies of truly biblical proportions.

This is all known, to a T, in the pro-life movement. But the media and even the public at large would prefer not to know about all this, because as Sandra Day O’Connor stated quite trenchantly in the Casey vs. Planned Barrenhood decision (and what a travesty that was), Americans have come to totally depend on contraception as one of the pillars of their very modern, very comfortable, very self-pleasing lives, and abortion is the backstop for that reliance. Some openly acknowledge this, most feign a distaste for abortion while being secretly glad it’s there to bail them out of a difficult situation, but the reliacne remains the same.  And so, millions would really rather not know what goes on in abortion mills, would really rather not know what a murdered baby looks like, and all the rest, so they can maintain their happy illusion and comfortable life.

I pray things like this are powerful enough shocks to that mythos that’s been built up to move people to change. But my experience shows that when people feel their lifestyle and comfort is threatened, they will go to amazing lengths to avoid having to change.

And all that cuts back to the scandal of the failure to oppose contraception use in the Church.  Which is one of the prime roots of this appaling culture we live in.
