We went to the First Profession of Vows and Mass for Sr. Maria Consuelo at the Carmel on Saturday. The nuns and Carmelite priests do a respectable Ad Orientem Novus Ordo. There was quite a crowd. It seems Sr. Consuelo has a pretty sizable family.
The Carmel does not allow pics of the nuns, but I did take a few shots after Mass. I like their statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe:
Not from the Carmel. Could not remember if I posted this one or not, and I’m too lazy to check.
The Carmel statue is better.
