Lord please let it stop – cataloging a few ISIS atrocities August 13, 2014

Posted by Tantumblogo in Basics, disaster, Ecumenism, episcopate, General Catholic, Holy suffering, horror, martyrdom, paganism, persecution, sadness, scandals, secularism, sickness, Society, Spiritual Warfare, unadulterated evil.

Some of the photos below have appeared on a few Catholic sites.  But I felt they should be made available in order to catalog the depths of the evil we as Catholics are dealing with in the ongoing effort to depopulate the entire Mideast (eventually, you know it is coming to that) of Christians.  Some may disagree with posting these.  Some will appreciate it.  For others, it may be old news.

Please Lord let someone stop this evil.  I don’t know if there is anyone else with the ability and the will to do so. Most European nations can’t even deploy a battalion for more than token “peacekeeping.”  I still don’t favor US boots on the ground, but when I see the below, I have no problem arming the Kurds and Christians to the teeth and giving them air support and intelligence.

Pictures below are a mix from Iraq and Syria.  Of course I am equally concerned with what happens to Christians in both countries, and in other countries, as well as the other persecuted peoples, which is basically everyone save for the most insanely jihadist radical wahhabists.  The most backwards, idiotic, demonic, tribal bedoin form of islam from the depths of the Arabian peninsula is rapidly becoming the “elite” form of islam.  Amazing.

Maybe an answer is to bomb the Saudi and Qatari oil terminals.  They are ultimately behind all this with their $$. Pics are thumbnails for obvious reasons.  It was the last two that ripped my gut out.

In the last, that is ostensibly the girl’s father.  What crime could a 2 year old possibly commit to deserve beheading?  Not being a wahhabist muslim.  Now we know why the Spanish, in the Reconquista, called them infidel dogs.

There are other, even worse photos (and videos) out there.  All from the past year or two.  And these crimes are also frequently perpetrated within wahabbist regions themselves, against their own people – typically women and girls.  Genital mutilation, dousing faces with acid, poking out eyes, cutting off noses, ears, and tongues, sometimes all at the same time, are frequently enacted as revenge by muslim “men” upon their women due to some perceived slight.

I made a mistake recently, saying that these atrocities are unprecedented. It would be nice to be able to say that, but that would be untrue.  As a matter of fact, from the muslim genocide against the Armenians in 1915 to the anti-Christian pogroms in Nigeria, Sudan, and all over the Mideast, muslim persecution of Christians has been a constant fact of Christian existence in the Mideast from the inception of this wicked and perverse religion.  Islam is the antithesis of Christianity, it is cruelty and bloodshed and lust and perversity and backwardness all rolled up in one.  And yet somehow, we are called to forgive these people.  Not an easy task.

This is a scourge that must be stopped.  Lord, grant peace and your sanctifying Grace to the victims of this hellish persecution.  Lord, grant unity and strength to Your Church, and especially to those entrusted with those high offices of such great import.  Lord, guide the afflicted souls through this nightmare with Your constant aid and Grace.  And give wisdom, prudence, and strength of  conviction to the secular world’s leaders to deal with this existential threat to all that is good and holy in a decisive way.

I would opine that any single one of those photos above would be sufficient to immediately terminate all “dialogue” with this religion until it begins to exercise at least a little bit of self-discipline.  From what the world can tell, the radicals are utterly in charge and any “moderate” muslims are either too cowed or too ineffectual to do anything to even slightly hinder them, let alone stop these barbarities.

I need to take a long break before I can comment on this.

“Lord, let it stop.” Really?? Is that the best you can do???? That’s why institutionalized Christianity as a whole has become morally irrelevant. Our prayers also should include prayers for the obliteration of ISIS, Hamas, Hezbollah, al-Qaeda, the Taliban and all these satanic agencies — as well as the obliteration of Mecca, Medina, al-Azhar, the Dome of the Rock and al-Aqsa Mosque. Read European history. ISIS certainly is not the last incarnation of this satanic evil. But the Catholic Church has a “pope” who is more interested in dialogue than truth. For that matter, “Saint” JPII was more interested in dialogue than truth when it cam to Islam.

You’re always welcome to get your own blog and show us how it should be done rather than constantly carping – and nothing but – other people’s efforts.

Joseph D'Hippolito - August 13, 2014

Well, Steve, I guess you really don’t like opposing opinion, here, do you? You are the perfect post-Vatican II man. Enjoy your life.

Joseph D'Hippolito - August 13, 2014

Sorry, Steve. That comment was meant for Tantumblogo.

Joseph D'Hippolito - August 14, 2014

Well, I’m not the only one who thinks the way I do. Read the following post on one of the comment threads from Creative Minority Report:

“I know the person running this blog has contempt for academics/professors like me but I have to put forth a historical perspective from my own research. First, we are essentially going through the buildup to the crusades. The times have changed and therefore weaponry, technology, etc. but the experience has many parallels. First, how long were Christians praying as mohommed and his army of satan killed their way across the Middle East? This parallels what we are doing now. Praying and offering little physical resistance. Like then it has taken us time to truly understand the depths of the problem? Why an unknown enemy. Media then was nearly non existent. Now it is just horse hockey and because reality is inconsistent with the social narrative of all oppression is white male Christians attacking poor innocent brown people, this can’t be reported. Plus the left biased media has some interest in promoting Muslims and their agenda. I guess ignorance is bliss. Second, the crusades were inevitable and not some simple minded aggression for power as our attacks on Iraq ten years ago which triggered all this. The crusades, like our modern crusade occurs out of absolute necessity for survival.
I think the twelfth crusade is a distant but it is approaching fast. Regardless of our opinions the media are in denial and it will be upon them when they realize it’s too late. Perhaps true of all of us, I don’t know. But revelations speaks of locusts consuming and destroying all in its pasty as satan wishes to create his kingdom in gods image. We just didn’t know satans kingdom would be called Islam. Now we know.”

It is up to the vaunted “international community” in which “Pope” Francis places such faith to destroy ISIS!

I place quotes around the words “pope” and “saint” not because I’m a sedevacantist. Sedevacantism is the Catholic response to the Flat Earth Society. I place quotes around those words because Catholics are so lulled by papal rhetoric that they wouldn’t recognize moral incompetence if it took a big bite out of their collective biological seat cushions.

Fortunately, Catholics now are starting to question JPII’s initiatives toward Islam.

May a certain Hollywood celebrity rest in peace.

I referenced that to call attention to the following:

If you are an Iraqi Catholic persecuted to the hilt and on the run from maniacs who at least rival (and may even surpass) the viciousness of the Nazis and Imperial Japanese, do not expect many people to cry for you.

Conversely, America’s news media and countless Americans will not only cry for but grind their lives to a halt to focus their attention upon a suicidal Hollywood celebrity (I wish him peace) who trafficked in dirty comedy and attacked the Holy Catholic Church as “Christians” in his audiences roared with laughter.

Countless folks will parade about in public to express their appreciation for said person’s raunchy, dirty antics.

They will leave teddy bears and tie balloons to objects to pay tribute to said celebrity.

The news media will devote around-the-clock coverage to said person.

In light of the above unsettling reality and in absence of a miracle, what realistic human hope exists for Iraqi Catholics?

The message is clear: The life and demise of a person (requiescat in pace) who did not hesitate to deliver raunchy, filthy “entertainment” to America and the world is of greater interest to countless folks than the genocide of Iraqi Catholics.

Tantumblogo - August 13, 2014

Steve, if you do not mind, may I turn this into a post? I think it deserves to be widely read.

Very, very good. Thank you and God bless you.

discipleofthedumbox - August 13, 2014

Not to mention that part of his shtick was to bad mouth priests and the Church in very foul and scandalous verbiage.

5. Steve - August 13, 2014

Please do. I am simply thankful to read (and often times post to) your blog. Thank you.

6. Steve - August 13, 2014

May I add to my original post on this thread.

The “Hollywood celebrity” is, of course. Mister Robin Williams.

I wish to make clear the following: I wish eternal salvation to Mr. Williams.

At some point as his neared death, unable to free himself from his demise, I pray that he called to and received from God
forgiveness of sins and eternal salvation.

I pray that when my hour of death arrives, I, a sinner, obtain God’s forgiveness.

My purpose here is not to attack Mr. Williams. This isn’t about Mr. Williams. This is about our society…about “Christian” America and, for that matter, Christians throughout the West.

Nobody forced “Christians” (or anybody else) to watch and listen to Mr Williams’ raunchy, dirty words and actions.

He didn’t force Christians to watch and listen to him as he assaulted the Holy Catholic Church.

He did not force Christians during the past day or so to “canonize” him via the tremendous public attention and approval that they devoted to him.

He is not responsible for the fact that only a relative few Christians here and there have demonstrated publicly (and peacefully) on behalf of Iraqi Christians (as well as additional Iraqi religious minorities).

This is about Christians…and it’s not good.

Requiescat in pace, Mr. Williams.

Requiescat in pace, much of Christendom.

This is heartbreaking. I do hope & pray that US troops will go in and save these innocent people. If there’s ever been a time for a just war it is now. These photos prove that. Le’ts not forget, Obama will spend money we don’t have regardless; better for us to go deeper into debt to save the lives of people who are REALLY suffering, than for it to go to some useless gov’t program or to pay for people to continue to break U.S. laws by illegally staying in our country. Just my two cents.

discipleofthedumbox - August 13, 2014

You want us to get even more involved than we already are and despite the cost to the taxpayer who is already being robbed of more of his hard-earned money than is justifiable? Theft is never justified under the 10, if you know what I mean. That is just sin on top of sin, my good woman. St. Paul wrote that we should be indebted to no one save the debt of love. Bombs do not equal love. Becoming more involved in this tragedy will not lessen it, we can only make it worse. Sending in U.S. troops will ensure that we shall see even more brutality and barbarity from both ISIS as well as the U.S.

I want no part of that thank you very much.

We should encourage the Iraqis to take care of their own house. Like an earlier poster brought up, where is that U.S. trained Iraqi military now?

“No one has greater love than this: than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends” ~ Jesus

discipleofthedumbox - August 14, 2014

Agreed! However, it is one thing to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. It is a wholly different thing to insist that another lay down one’s life in your place for one’s friends. This, Our Blessed Lord did not teach.

My spiritual side wishes to believe the following (but please pray for me as my human nature has its doubts):

My heart wishes to believe that the horrific persecutions of late directed against Catholics has jarred finally our Pope, Cardinals, bishops, priests, religious and laity.

That is, they have been jarred to recognize the fact that the world hates…HATES…the Holy Catholic Church.

In this world, Holy Mother Church has exactly…Z-E-R-O…friends.

They have been jarred to the fact that for all practical purposes, Catholics alone have any real interest to defend persecuted Catholics…and in reality, how many Catholics possess such interest?

How many Catholics are more interested in Hollywood than persecuted Catholics in Iraq and throughout the world?

Do our Churchmen, religious and laity recognize finally that here, there and everywhere, Catholicism is on the run?

How much horrific damage must Holy Mother Church endure before Catholics awaken to the fact that She is in sorry shape?

When will we awaken to the fact that we — Catholics — are responsible for Holy Mother Church’s wounds?

We wrecked the Mass. The liturgical “reforms” of the Latin Church have flopped. Flopped. Flopped big-time.

The “New Orientation” has flopped. Flopped. Flopped big-time.

Our embracement of the Ecumenical Movement has flopped. Flopped. Flopped big-time.

What has the Ecumenical Movement given to Catholicism?

— Wreckovated churches.

— Watered-down liturgy…and that’s being kind.

— Collapse of Catholic identity.

Rome threw in with “mainstream” Protestant communities. How has that fared?

“Mainstream” Protestantism has throw in with the birth control and abortion racketeers….with powerful sodomites…with the priestess nonsense.

From the time that Rome threw in with the Ecumenical Movement to this second, “mainstream” Protestantism has moved millions of miles from Catholicism.

Catholic participation in the Ecumenical Movement has flopped. Flopped. Flopped big-time.

How has Catholic participation in “interreligious dialogue”, particularly in regard to Islam, fared?

Oh, please!

Please. Please. Please.

I would like to believe that either the time has arrived this second or we are very, very close to our Churchmen having recognized that the “New Orientation” must be discarded for the sake of Holy Mother Church’s spiritual prosperity.

I would like to believe that at least within Latin Church and the survival of that which remains of the Christian West, our Churchmen are ready to return to Holy Tradition.

It is time to return the Traditional Roman Mass to rightful front-and-center place within the Latin Church. The restoration of Holy Tradition would follow naturally.

If anything, I would like to think that for their very survival (and salvation), the millions of fallen-away Western Church Catholics would realize that they had best return to their spiritual Mother.

They had best cooperate with God in the establishment of large families. You know, out-populate…ahem…certain folks who are determined to destroy you, your children and most definitely, grand-children.

I would like to think that within the Church, the beginning of the end of the old, tired and destructive “New Orientation” has arrived.

I hope that beginning with Pope Francis, Catholics are more than ever determined to restore Holy Tradition throughout the Church.

Otherwise…well, consider the horrific plights of Catholics in Iraq, throughout the Middle East…Africa…

That is just the beginning of the horrific anti-Catholics persecutions that await us should we fail to bolt to Holy Tradition.

Steve, your post brought this to my mind:

“A sacrifice to God is an afflicted spirit: a contrite and humbled heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
Deal favorably, O Lord, in thy good-will with Sion; that the walls of Jerusalem may be built up.
Then shalt thou accept the sacrifice of justice, oblations and whole burnt-offerings: then shall they lay calves upon thy altar.” Ps. 50: 19-21

c matt - August 14, 2014

“Flopped” implies the changes did not have their intended consequences. I am not so sure.

9. Steve - August 13, 2014

I apologize for my long-winded rants. I simply am passionate about Holy Mother Church. Other than your fine blog, I don’t have anywhere else to vent my opinions…my frustrations.

Thank you.

What should we do? Here is what we should be doing.

Private citizens banding together to give aid out of their own personal treasures and not collectively using the force of an impersonal government to bomb the living daylights out of people.
