…….I thought at least the male readers might find this useful:

Maybe it’s just better to wear pants.

This is more romantic:

Whatever the motivation, we’ve got to keep up the fight.  The Synod, whatever it was – minor setback, major defeat, or pre-planned retrenchment after the introduction of soul-destroying novelties – will be back next year.  We’ll see much more that is disturbing and upsetting between now and then.  So keep ’em girt, strap on your armor, or whatever you need to do to be ready to fight.

I keep my weapon in my pocket at all times… Voris has an excellent Vortex on this very issue today…. And I think I understand now what Benedict was saying about a much smaller Church…. It already IS A much smaller Church… Most of the folks in the pews and many of the clergy and hierarchy are not Catholic.

Yep. The USCCB claims there are nearly 70 million “Catholics” in this country but the number who are at least semi-faithful and practicing is maybe 1/10 that. The number of really faithful souls who accept all the Church believes may be as few as 3-4 million. And I might be optimistic.

Worldwide, 1.2 billion is probably, in reality, more like 50-60 million.

Yes, I saw the vortex on this, and it’s a good one……he spoke of ‘hanging on tight’ and not going off the deep end or jumping ship. Kind of like St. Peter answered Our Lord when He asked if they (the remainder of the apostles) were going to leave him too. Peter’s reply of course……’Lord, where would we go?’ He said it correctly, there IS no where else to go!

It might be helpful to vote for devout Roman Catholics in our local and state elections as well in the temporal sphere. You know, like you could write in me for U.S. Senate. Just sayin’. I mean…I just did…

What the heck! I just might!

Cool. Make sure you write in ‘III’ as the suffix to the name. You just might end up electing my father instead if you leave that out. 🙂
