Uh……..no. Just no. January 23, 2015

Via CMR, the Governor of Pennsylvania promoted a new Physician General for that yankee state.  He selected ummm……a very sad creature with obvious problems.  Formerly Doctor Richard, but now Rachel, Levine.

I’m sorry, but you’re not a “woman” trapped in a man’s body, and no amount of estrogen or silicon is going to fix this:

This is getting out of hand.  Like sodomy generally, this “gender dysphoria” is becoming a fad, a hip thing to do, a way to get unconditional praise and attention from the culture, all for making an ass out of one’s self.  That dude is no more a woman than George Foreman, whom a rather large part of me wishes would take Dr. Levine out back and straighten him out.

Oh yes yes yes, people like me, the suffering, oh the agony, the secret longings, the depression, the psychological treatment and the psychotropic meds……it’s all a rich tapestry, but I am sorry, I do not believe there are just scads of men and women running around who really are totally convinced they were born in the wrong sex.  They may be very unsettled people who fall under diabolical influences or they may simply be so desperate for attention they’ll do this or anything else, but people who suddenly “out” as another sex at age 60 or whatever simply are not well.  It’s all so sad, a sign of the perpetual adolescence in which millions remain mired, of which this kind of behavior is just one particularly bad manifestation.

I am hard on these folks because a) this is the next big thing, after the “normalization” of sodomy is complete (we’re close), and b) because I knew some of these people in the rooms and they were universally not well.  There is a lot of psychosis with this phenomenon but it is not really based in having been born in the wrong sex but in much deeper underlying issues that manifest in all manner of ways.  That is why the “trans” community is afflicted with the single highest rate of severe psychological problems, drug abuse and addiction, destructive behavior and suicide of any “demographic group” (if they are one) out there.  Cultural recognition and being given privileged positions by a left that is seeking to destroy the last few remaining elements of traditional morality is not going to make these people any more well or happy.  In fact, it will worsen their lot immeasurably.

And don’t tell me this kind of behavior is not being hyped. There is a show on Amazon right now about just this kind or weirdness, last year’s Academy Award winning movie was on this subject (or, it was central to the plot), and there are hundreds of other manifestations of the lionization of this sad and confused state.

But the Sexual Left has decided this is the next thing they are going to shove down our throats, the cost to these people’s souls be damned, so on it will go.

Another thought: to what extent does radical feminism’s demonization of masculinity and basically all things discernibly male play a role in all this?  There are men out there who, for whatever reason, have so absorbed the message of radical feminism that they develop a loathing for themselves.  And then there is the impact of millions of boys being raised without fathers.  As I said, a rich tapestry…….

Totally agree with you. I hate to be so callous but they are nuts. I had to laugh at the photo. I know I shouldn’t. Poor souls.

Um, just askin’. ;^)

Tantumblogo - January 23, 2015

Heh! Actually, I think Dee looked a lot better.

Especially since he had his teeth filed down! JK. What is it with this pop culture and its desire to alter the Temple of God?

Even if it were possible to be a “woman trapped in a man’s body”, how would you ever know? I mean, if someone were to ask me what it feels like to be a man (or a “man trapped in a man’s body”), my answer would be a baffled shrug. How would I know? All I know is what it feels like to be me. It’s like trying to describe “red” to a person born blind.

Steve Sailer has written a fair amount on the transgender phenomenon, which he has dubbed “World War T” after the complete social victory of the homosexualists in “World War G”. Sailer cites scientists who have observed that there appear to be two distinct varieties of male-to-female transformations:

– Extremely effeminate homosexual men whose lack of masculinity puts them at a disadvantage in the gay dating market (where butchness is prized), and who therefore resolve to land a real (i.e., heterosexual) man by getting an operation to make them even more feminine.
– More masculine / more heterosexual men who have a bizarre sexual fetish in which the objects of their erotic obsessions are a feminized vision of themselves [autogynephilia].

The second group often tend to be high-achieving, very masculine-presenting men (including CEOs, filmmakers, scientists, athletes, and even a Navy SEAL) who often “discover” in middle age that they really felt like a girl all along, and make very unconvincing transformations. This is the most activist World War T faction, and it is they who are currently (and hilariously) causing conniptions among radical lesbians by insisting on admission to their organizations and events. It would appear that Dr. Levine is firmly in this second category.

As Sailer concludes,

Neither explanation [of transgenderism] fits in well with today’s dominant Victim of Society mode of thinking, so they must be suppressed. The supreme duty of 21st Century Americans is to be ignorant.

Hahaha. Yep:

Levine, who has two teenage children with his ex-wife, Martha (they divorced in 2013 after 30 years of marriage) has spent most of his career treating eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia, but since his decision to “come out” as transgender, he has been increasingly focused on homosexual and transgender activism. He currently sits on the board of gay advocacy group Equality PA, and serves as the LGBT liaison for the Office of Diversity at Penn State Hershey, where he is a professor. He previously served as the faculty advisor for the campus LGBT club, and founded a faculty-student mentoring program for people with same-sex attraction and gender identity issues.

High achiever in a male-dominated profession? Check.
Long-term marriage with kids? Check.
Mid-life discovery of “true” gender, to general astonishment? Check.
Subsequent alphabet-salad activism? Check.

interestingly, this acute observation from some of his former patients:

…some of Levine’s former eating disorder patients say they feel betrayed by his decision to deny his biological sex and begin living as a woman while simultaneously encouraging them to embrace the body they were given by nature regardless of their own feelings.

Beware, the UN is watching your blog, are you homophic and transphobic?

Published on Sep 8, 2014:
A year ago, the United Nations launched an unprecedented global public education campaign for lesbian, bisexual, gay and transgender rights: Free & Equal. What has happened since then? Watch the video to find out.

I just see it as their way of justifying their sodomy or fetishes. They feel dead inside since they are in mortal sin and use the lust and emotionalism to fill up the never ending God hole. This is also the fault of the APA which has gone insane itself (irony of ironies, eh?). The whole “client centered therapy” where the sick person determines what is healthy or not started this…also the protestant lie of ‘your truth, my truth, it’s all truth.” I live in PA so it’s no surprise the governor appointed this messed up man, the gov also did nothing when SSM was hijacked in the courts here and made legal. Lord have mercy on us all. God bless~

I don’t know what you mean when you say you are hard on these folks because you knew some of them “in the rooms” and they are not well. What do you mean in the rooms? And why be hard on people because they are not well?

this is all over the place and young people accept it. they all ask what is your preferred pronoun and act like transgender is not a mental disorder. it is beyond sad. i don’t think our society is going anywhere but into the dustbin, either by being taken over by islam or some natural disaster sent by God.

The economic catastrophe is coming. Read lewrockwell.com or mises.org.

Following up on that economic catastrophe, note: God is not mocked! Hallelujah.
