When will bishops excommunicate Planned Barrenhood members/employees/supporters? July 23, 2015

This video below from American Life League got me thinking: given the sweeping condemnations that popes and bishops in times past have issued against avowed enemies of the Church like freemasons, Nazis, and communists, when will the US bishops excommunicate all Planned Barrenhood staff, members and financial supporters?  Bishop Bruskewitz did so two decades ago in Lincoln.  And that wasn’t the first time Planned Barrenhood staff had been so treated.

But, then again, most of the blanket excommunications (very rightfully made) were well before the unleashing of modernist secular humanism in the Church starting in 1958.  It is widely believed that the USCCB presently has a secret, unpublished policy to ostracize any member who enforces Canon 915 against a Catholic politician, for instance.  I would tend to imagine there are also blanket “prohibitions” against interdicting other anti-Catholic organizations – just like Banned Parenthood.

So we have gone from a Church – or at least its human hierarchy – that took very seriously its mission to oppose evil, avoid scandal, and protect the faithful throughout almost the entirety of her long history, to where we have today an emasculated leadership who seem terrified to act, when they aren’t actively promoting things always held to be antithetical to the Faith.

What could have happened?

How often have we heard in the past 50 years that the Church must now be reasonable, that to exhort souls to follow the Faith as it was practiced for so many centuries is now unreasonable and too bizarre for the world to bear?  We don’t want to be fanatical “integrists,” right?

Sorry, I’m taking off on a tangent from the video below but there is a reason why Planned Barrenhood has so much freedom to conduct its hateful, diabolical campaign.  It is due to lack of resistance from the Church.  And need I remind that Cardinal Cushing collaborated with Planned Barrenhood of Greater Boston to overcome Catholic legislative resistance (from lay Catholic legislators) and get contraception legalized in Massachusetts!?  Very similar occurred in Connecticut and Rhode Island.

And where is the mass resistance and constant exhortations from the leadership against the latest descent into hedonist debauchery via pretended “same-sex marriage?”

Anyway, the video:

That being said, I hope I am wrong.

There could be a couple of exceptions, or not, but the hierarchy is busy with the ‘city of man’ and saying bravo to sodomy and going with the flow of the immoral world. The ones who might stand up will be excoriated by their brother bishops. Some have said that the floor of hell is paved with the skull caps of bishops. They need our prayers for their responsibility before the Lord is great.

My first thought to your question was “never”.

We should confront the parishioners of the cathedral with signs that say, “The bishop is swine” after warning Bishop Farrell. He is swine!

Is not the USCCB tied to the same financial lifeline that supports Planned Parenthood from this regime? Jest sayin’.

It is inexplicable that there is not resistance from the Church against the pit-of-hell evil shoved in our face every day in this god-forsaken America. I cannot imagine a greater evil than the violation of life in the womb, yet Joe Biden happily receives our Lord from a Priest in this Dioscese on Sunday after advocating for violence in the womb on Saturday.

I believe it can be explained, however.

The icon of feminine power, virtue and happiness is the bearing of the miracle of life, created from the Mind of God, in their womb and raising their good gifts to maturity and happiness. In a word: Mary.

The icon of masculine power, virtue and happiness is protecting life, the weak and defenseless from evil, harm and violence. Aiding the beauty of God’s gifts from the depredations of evil and violence; the devil. In a word: Joseph.

Lucifer, in these latter days, attacks God’s creation and infects it at its heart.

Women trade their nurturing glory for a bloody, violent, self-centered empty dinner of arugula and a glass of Merlot.

Men, including Priests, trade their protective glory for a sensual, orgiastic, self-centered dinner of cheeseburgers, video games and porn.

Women nurture. Men protect. Bishops ex-communicate evil from our midst.

That order, in Lucifer’s world, is overturned.

SELF. ME. AUTONOMY. CHOICE. FUN. FULFILLMENT. It reigns in the world, and it infects the Church. Not Mary. Not Joseph. Lucifer. Asmodius.

Not in MY HOUSE! We will serve the LORD!

We need better keynote speakers at the bishop’s annual pro-life dinner. That will fix the problem. Is Homer Simpson pro-life?

Bwa ha ha!

All Catholics should read and disseminate Cardinal Raymond Burke’s famous article on this subject:

In 2004, a majority of bishops approved a document, “Catholics in Political Life,” in which they say that a bishop may “legitimately” give Communion to pro-abortion politicians and other persons obstinately persisting in manifest grave sin.

There’s just an itsy-bitsy, teensy-weensy problem with saying that doing this is “legitimate.” IT IS A MORTAL SIN, because it is ALWAYS, in each and every case, a cause of grave scandal.

That’s right: A majority of American bishops believe that they can VOTE themselves permission to commit MORTAL SIN.

When the majority of a nation’s Catholic hierarchy have descended to such a level of total moral dementia, that nation has a big problem.

R U kidding? The only people who get excommunicated in the Vat 2 Church are the people who reject Vat 2.

Tantumblogo - July 24, 2015

It was an ironic, rhetorical question

9. Marguerite - July 24, 2015

Publicly excommunicating these people would be the most charitable thing to do but those who participate in this evil have already excommunicated themselves from the Body of Christ. They are the dead walking among us.

“Sanctity of life will be held in derision, even by those who outwardly profess it……For in those days, Jesus Christ will send them not a true pastor, but a destroyer.”
St Francis of Assisi, 1226

If we demonstrate in front of our cathedrals, holding signs as appropriate, such as “the bishop is swine” if he has given communion to democrats, then we will be heard. Blogging about it isn’t enough; we have to make our voices heard on the streets.
