Texas Attorney General launches investigation into Planned Barrenhood…….. July 30, 2015Posted by Tantumblogo in Abortion, disaster, error, General Catholic, horror, It's all about the $$$, paganism, scandals, secularism, self-serving, shocking, sickness, Society.
………claims to have another video showing sale of baby parts and probably admission of regular performance of illegal abortions/born-alive murders from within the state of Texas. If so, that could be very big trouble for Planned Barrenhood, the corrupt Joe Strauss aside, there is a very large majority of quite pro-life legislators right now, and hopes to bring in even more next term.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton confirmed in testimony before the Texas Senate that his office has launched an investigation into illegal activites at state Planned Barrenhoods, including their mills in Dallas, Austin, Fort Worth, and Houston:
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton confirmed on Wednesday that a video obtained by his office as part of its investigation into Planned Parenthood’s practices is “consistent” with other undercover videos released by an anti-abortion group of the organization’s executives discussing fetal tissue donations.
Testifying before the Senate Health and Human Services Committee, Paxton said his office had “gained possession” of “hours of recordings” involving a Planned Parenthood clinic in Texas as part of its inquiry into Planned Parenthood’s practices regarding fetal tissue donation in Texas. Paxton declined to go into specifics about the recordings and how they were obtained.
Instead, Paxton detailed a recent visit by AG investigators to a Planned Parenthood facility in Houston where they witnessed how the abortion provider handles fetal remains before they are sent to a contractor who disposes them.
“The true abomination in all this is the institution of abortion,” Paxton told the committee. “Even the languages that they use — ‘product of conception’ — betrays a profound denial of humanity.”
The Belo-owned WFAA report above then becomes reliably left-wing, biasing towards poor persecuted Planned Butcherhood as much as they dare.
Better coverage below from Life News, noting Planned Barrenhood’s unusual refusal throughout the many investigations spurred by these videos to appear at any of them:
Legislators on the Texas Health and Human Services Committee on Wednesday scolded Planned Parenthood for their absence. Republican Chairman Charles Schwertner said the organization needs to answer for how it operates in Texas.
Why did Planned Parenthood fail to appear? Possibly because top state officials may have been given access to yet another shocking undercover video exposing more sales of aborted babies beyond the three videos already released.
Schwertner said the committee would focus on determining whether Planned Parenthood affiliates in Texas were selling fetal tissue and what steps could be “taken to put a swift and decisive stop to it.”
“I know many Texans are equally horrified by such a callous disregard for innocent human life,” Schwertner said.
“The existence of the CMP video of a clinic in Texas and the AG’s interest in it would at least tend to imply that there are legal issues that arise from it. Why wouldn’t Planned Parenthood want a representative there to push back, if those allegations are unfounded? It looks like an attempt to keep from having responses committed to the record, and avoid potential charges if they get proven to be false,” he writes. “The vise is tightening, but the debate focuses too narrowly on the legality of tissue transfers for compensation. Planned Parenthood wants that debate, because they can then argue that this benefits humanity through research — even though that ignores the fact that they could just donate the organs, rather than maximize their revenue stream by charging on the “per-item thing,” as yesterday’s video showed a Planned Parenthood official explaining.”
“No, the real problem for Planned Parenthood is that this organ trade has exposed the core lie at the heart of the abortion industry. [Which is that they murder babies all day long for money, including profit to the tune of $100 million last year!] In my column today for The Week, I advise people to remain focused on that fundamental hypocrisy demonstrated in these videos,” he adds. ”………
………A total of 10 states have already launched an investigation including Tennessee, Massachusetts,Kansas, Missouri, Arizona, Indiana, Ohio, Georgia,Texas and Louisiana and members of Congress have launched an investigation as well.
Nothing will happen at the federal level with this weak-willed Repubnik Congress and the most diabolically abortion-loving president in history in office.
But, at the state level…….look for Planned Butcherhood to be defunded in more states, and I imagine it possible that the legal pressure – and associated insurance costs – will become so high that PB will choose to leave a number of states. Texas is a very big one, they do a lot of business here, but if pro-lifers can hold legislator’s feet to the fire and make them press this matter, it is possible Planned Barrenhood could be run out of the state, or nearly so.
Let us make it too expensive for baby butchers to do business in Texas.
