Mama mia! Vatican OKs global warming-themed light show to be projected onto the Dome of St. Peters on Dec. 8! December 7, 2015

Via Vox, simply insane.  On the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, St. Peter’s, now known as Frankieworld, will form the backdrop for a bit radical environmentalist agitprop, politicizing the holy for the sake of a secular cause.  How tacky can you get?

The Catholic Church, founded to shed the light of Christ on the world, has quite literally invited the world to shed its light on her. On December 8, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception as well as the opening of the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy, Pope Francis has invited climate-change partisans and population-control advocates to project a light show onto the façade and cupola of Saint Peter’s Basilica in Rome— the most important church in the Catholic world — so as to “inspire change around the climate crisis.” [Nothing like besmirching the

The show titled “Illuminating Our Common Home” will project onto St. Peter’s “images of our shared natural world” in order to “educate and inspire change around the climate crisis across generations, cultures, languages, religions and class,” states a press release about the event put out by one of the sponsors.

The Vatican’s spokesperson for the event, Archbishop Rino Fisichella, the president of the Pontifical Council for the New Evangelization, called the event “unique…for its genre and for the fact that it is being displayed for the first time on such a significant backdrop.”

“These illuminations will present images inspired of Mercy, of humanity, of the natural world, and of climate changes,” Fisichella said. [This is the same man who says those who criticize Pope Francis may be liable to hellfire via self-excommunication.  Can you see the inversion going on?  Instead of sharing Jesus Christ, the Light of the World, this pontificate agrees to allow the world to impose its false light – really, darkness – upon the Church.  The Year of Mercy posits to dispense with individual sin, and imposes false “collective” sins in place of the old, out of fashion ones.  Their arguments fall on their face, so they must resort to repression and “bread and circuses” for the masses.

[And all on the most notable Marian Feast of the year.  Wow.]

Fisichella said that the light show on the Vatican is meant to link Pope Francis’ environment encyclical Laudato si’ with the United Nations Climate Change Conference (Cop21) currently underway in Paris. The Vatican has shown strong support for the conference.  Having the show conclude the opening Year of Mercy celebrations also links the pope’s message about “mercy” to fighting “climate change.”………[Sheesh, how banal can you get? And yes, the Vatican’s support for the greatest scientific scandal in history is sure to blacken the reputation of the Church for centuries to come.  It’s really the first time in history the Church has deliberately supported – by choosing sides, and strongly, on at least some pseudo-doctrinal level – false science.]

……..There is much dark and forbidding symbolism behind the event and the organizations sponsoring it that is bizarrely connected to pagan occult practices, the worship of nature, and human sacrifice through abortion and population control.

The show is titled “Fiat Lux: Illuminating Our Common Home.” “Fiat Lux” is the first command issued by God at the beginning of creation: “Let there be light.” Instead of the Church presenting Jesus Christ as the light of the world, secular organizations named after pagan gods are literally “obscuring” the Church through their own dazzling light show. St. Paul warns the Corinthians to be on guard about Satan who he says “masquerades as an angel of light.” It’s as if through this phrase the organizers are symbolically taking the place of God and creating the world anew according to their own image and likeness.

The light show takes place on the most important Marian feast day for Catholics, the Immaculate Conception, in which Catholics celebrate Mary being conceived in the womb of her mother Anne without the stain of original sin. Mary has always been viewed by Catholics as an archetype of the Church since she carried Christ within her as the first tabernacle and then bore him into the world. The light show will project onto St. Peter’s, a building representative of Mary, images of earth and animals on her most important feast day. It is amounts to a crude dishonoring of Our Lady.

In allowing this tawdry display (as if I needed any more evidence that leftists reduce EVERYTHING to the political), the Vatican is cooperating with the incredibly pro-abort, pro-contracept, usurous World Bank.

This is the third grave insult directed at Our Lady this year.  Pope Francis signed the motu proprio greatly liberalizing annulment procedures on the Feast of the Assumption.  He announced it on the Feast of the Nativity.  Now this.

I agree with Vox, relatively faithful bishops and cardinals, how much will you stand?!?  How long must this continue before you will publicly challenge the descent of the Church into laughingstock?!?  Do you not know you will be judged for your failure?  The great Apostle Saint Paul could not have been more clear:

Romans 1:28: And as they liked not to have God in their knowledge, God delivered them up to a reprobate sense, to do those things which are not holy…….Who, having known the justice of God, did not understand that they who do such things, are worthy of death; and not only they that do them, but they also that consent to them that do them.

At long last, is there left not even mere faith in the Church, but even a sense of decency?  How many swords must pierce Our Glorious Mother’s heart?

The Church does not support this nonsense….corrupt churchmen do.

I said the Vatican’s support. And that will be taken to mean the Church by the world.

I understand that, but on that note the “Vatican” is not the Bride of Christ. It is a building in Vatican City that is infested with modernists. I’m not picking a squabble, simply clarifying a point or two. Unfortunately “the Vatican” and “the world” in many cases have the same agenda. As Mike Matt once said of our Churchmen….”they have the buildings, we have the Faith.”
Happy Feast Day tomorrow!

In spite of some claim to love Our Lady, this regime is persecuting her. It is perhaps blasphemous to have this worldly secular light show on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. And the ongoing destruction of the Franciscans of the Immaculate where the ‘powers that be’ want to remove the miraculous medal from the habit and change the Franciscan Eucharistic Marian charism is demonic. Marian Shrines have been closed, pilgrimages prevented and more. There is no love for Our Lady in the present regime that is evident nor is there love for the most faithful of Catholics. There is confusion, dissention, and distrust. Lord, save us!

Obscura Digital, the company doing the actual work of this sacrilege, were behind the projection of a Hindu devil on the Empire State Building earlier this year. It just keeps getting better. What are the signs that immediately proceed the Three Days of Darkness? I want to make sure my blessed candles are already burning before it starts.

Could this very well be the false counterfeit Church that Anne Catherine Emmerich and others have talked about in prophesies?

Sure sounds like it.

If they look like apostates, talk like apostates and act like apostates what must we infer they are? And do apostates have authority in the Church?
