Australian Women’s Olympic Soccer Team Crushed……by schoolboys June 8, 2016

There are innumerable areas of life where women are, generally speaking, gifted by God with abilities beyond those of men.  These are not socially constructed abilities, but real, innate characteristics.  They run the gamut from the obvious nurturing and homemaking abilities to caring and empathy to certain cognitive skills. God designed men and women to be complimentary, not competitive, and so gave each certain advantages and disadvantages, so that, together, the sum would equal much more than its parts.

Unfortunately, in the current cultural climate, far too many women (and men) have bought the radical feminist notion that women and men are entirely alike and interchangeable, except for a few “insignificant accidents” of biology.  In reality, those “accidents” define, to a very large degree, the marked differences between men and women, but to feminists, who appear more self-loathing than anything else, the goal has always been to create an unalterable cultural conviction that, reality be damned,  women are able to do anything a man can do, but even better.  Note the tones of sexism/female superiority, and also, the feminist diktat that to build women up, men must be torn down.

This disastrous ideology has, to a large extent, created the social chaos we now see more and more evident every day, where people of the same sex can pretend to be married with government sanction, and even such a core characteristic as one’s sexuality is now put forth as something completely variable, and able to change from day to day as one’s mood changes.  Of course, this is all nonsense, as yesterday’s post alluded, reality always intrudes, and the mental divergence caused by this intrusion drives many advocates of the new gender ideology close to madness (or well beyond it).

A case in point: news has leaked that a practice match played between the Australian Women’s Olympic Soccer team and a local under-15 boy’s club team resulted in a devastating defeat for the women’s team, who were absent a few regular starters, but not many.  And this is hardly the first time.  In fact, these matches occur with some frequency, and the results are often not in the women’s favor:

Australia’s national women’s soccer team have suffered a devastating defeat in the lead up to the Rio Olympics – going down 7-0 to the Newcastle Jets under-15 boys side.

What is particularly concerning for the Matildas is that despite resting some regulars, they were still able to field experienced international stars including former AFC player of the year Katrina Gorry.

Despite the embarrassing defeat on Wednesday night at Valentine Sports Park in Newcastle, the Australian team will travel to Brazil as one of the gold medal favourites.[So this is not the case of this just being a bad women’s squad, within their own milieu]

While the Matildas played with a rotating squad, there is no denying losing to a team of school boys is far from ideal preparation for the world’s fifth ranked team in their quest for Olympic gold at Rio.

Assistant Matildas coach Gary van Egmond was as surprised as anyone about the result admitting his side were outplayed.

‘To be honest we didn’t expect that,’ Egmond told the Huffington Post Australia.

The Jets boys were very good, all credit to them, they moved the ball around very well and were excellent all night.’ [A small point.  These kinds of scratch teams like national, World Cup, or Olympic teams, can be at a disadvantage when facing a group that has been together for a long length of time.  A team is just that, and often times these scratch teams full of elite names don’t practice enough to become a cohesive whole.  Still, that doesn’t fully explain the top women’s players being blasted by 13 and 14 year old boys]

Egmond said that the Matildas are often forced to play against boys teams as trying to find quality female opposition can be difficult.

It may not be the first time that the Australian team have suffered a heavy defeat against school boys with claims that they were ‘smashed’ by an under 16 Sydney FC team last year circulating.

………it would be amazing to me if that many humans were walking the earth unaware of the stark differences between male and female athletes. A woman in her prime years has the cardiovascular capacity of a man in his 50’s. It’s why girls cannot pass the same physical tests as males in the military. [And why standards for women are frequently thrown out the window, so that women can serve in roles for which, on the basis of their physical condition, any male would be disqualified] Many male recruits also fail early on, but a month or two of training and even the least fit males are well beyond the female recruits. [In almost all cases] Imagine the differences when we’re talking years of training.

And it’s not just soccer.  In basketball, ice hockey, and volleyball, other sports that have a lot of female participants, men are frequently brought in to scrimmage against, but in the first two cases, generally only in limited numbers.  Top women’s college basketball programs usually have 2-3 male former high school players (good, but not good enough for college) as part of their practice squad, to give the women a tough opponent to practice against.  They only have a handful of men, because too many would make the practice sessions too lopsided.  The same goes in hockey.

Because, duh, when it comes to virtually all physical activities, the average man is a lot stronger and faster than the average woman, and at the highest levels of ability and conditioning, the disparity is even more marked.  There are simply no women who can compete with a 6′ 4″ 270 lb linebacker than can run a 4.5 40.  They do not exist, and never will, in spite of all the disordered hopes and dreams of radical feminists who so very fervently wish it weren’t so.

But that’s leftism, the so-called “reality-based community,” which is really the triumph of illusory dreams and whacked-out fantasies over reality.

I would have been more surprised had the women’s team won. I’d be willing to bet that even our top ranked US Women’s team would lose to most boys’ high school teams. Heck, they would probably lose to most middle of the pack men’s rec teams.

Of course, once this trans-gender thing catches on, that may change.
