FBI Reopens Investigation of Hillary October 28, 2016

It’s apparently true. Whether it turns into a week-long fiasco cum whitewash, time will tell, though I’m not overly optimistic FBI Director Comey will have the wherewithal to withstand the enormous pressure he will be put under to end this investigation immediately.

Otherwise, we may likely get to enjoy the spectacle of seeing a major party presidential candidate win an election while under active FBI investigation.  I’m quite certain that will be a unique event in the history of these United States:

In a stunning development moments ago Jason Chaffetz tweeted that the FBI’s probe into Hillary Clinton emails has been reopened: saying that “The FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation.”

According to additional reports, the FBI is said to have learned of the existence of additional material, although FBI Direct Comey adds that it is unclear if the material is significant.

Moments later, NBC News reported that the agency was reopening the investigation and shared a letter from FBI director James Comey informing key lawmakers of the investigation.. .

“In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation,” Comey wrote.

“I am writing to inform you that the investigative team briefed me on this yesterday, and I agreed that the FBI should take appropriate investigative steps designed to allow investigators to review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information,” Comey wrote

Just to get a feel for how the elites are reacting to this development, look what happened to the Mexican Peso on news of the reopening of the investigation:

That vertical line on the right is the ratio of the pesos to US dollars.  You can see that such an increase is not exactly typical.

You can also see how much they fear trade with Mexico, which has involved the hemorrhaging of US jobs and money overseas as part of our massive, multi-hundred billion dollar annual trade deficit, will plummet if dear leader Hillary is not elected.  This reaction tells us a very great deal more than they probably intended.

Well. This election may not be settled just yet.  I would caution, however, that for Trump to win, he needs to not just beat Hillary by one vote in key states, but by hundreds of thousands, due to the almost certain voter fraud that is occurring and will continue to do so until November 8.  Lord knows how many dead people have already cast their ballots for Hillary, or how  much manipulation of online voting machines is occurring.

We’ve got a long way to go.

A Record Number of Americans Oppose Gun Bans……. October 28, 2016

……..but a substantial majority also favor “more strict gun laws”, while simultaneously believing firearms are not too easy to get.

No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the average American.  These people are just a bunch of fickle mush-heads:

A poll published on Wednesday shows record opposition to gun bans from the American public.

The survey, conducted by Gallup, found 76 percent of respondents thought there should not be a law banning civilian ownership of handguns, a four-point increase from last year and an all-time high in the 57 years the question has been asked.

The poll also found that 61 percent of respondents are “against” a ban on certain semi-automatic rifles—often referred to as “assault weapons”—, a ten-point increase since the last time the poll was taken and an all-time high since Gallup began asking the question in 1996.

Support for the gun bans are at all-time lows. The poll shows only 27 percent support for a ban on handgun ownership, a three-point drop from last year. It also shows support for an assault weapons ban at 36 percent, an eight-point decline from the last time the question was asked……..

…….. Last September, a CNN poll showed a majority of Americans believed, for the first time, that guns are not too “easy to get.”….

………The Gallup poll asked respondents if they would tighten or loosen gun laws, and whether or not they owned a firearm.

It found a majority of people, 55 percent, want “more strict” laws, a figure unchanged from last year. It found 40 percent of people have a gun on their property, a number that is down three points from last year and at odds with a recent Pew poll showing all-time high gun ownership.

So, no bans, and guns are not too easily obtainable, but a solid majority favor more strict laws.  Hooookay.

As for the supposed drop in gun ownership, if you were surveyed, would you answer honestly?  Or might you use some broad mental reservation?

I actually think there is a semi-rational explanation for the discrepancy in the polling results.  Americans are constantly bombarded by false stories in the media about how terrorists and mentally ill people obtain firearms all the time (not true), and other scare stories that lead a large number of people to believe that I can literally walk into a gun show tomorrow and come out with a full-auto AK and even a rocket launcher without even providing an ID, let alone face a background check.  All of these reports are complete fabrications, but a lie repeated often enough becomes the truth.  For that percentage of Americans who have no experience of trying to buy a gun in the past 25 years or so, these fantasies might seem plausible.  And so while some people may not favor an outright ban, they probably are convinced, wrongly, that there is a need to “tighten gun show loopholes” and things like that.  Loopholes, mind, which do not, in fact, exist.

Or, people are simply dumb and amazingly inconsistent.  You decide.

Environmentalists “care” about the planet SOOO much…… October 28, 2016

…….that they have absolutely no problem trashing the environment in order to show how much they care.  In point of fact, all this “caring” has absolutely nothing to do with the environment, or immigrants, or health care, but is always and entirely about growing the power of the Left.  Everything else is, at a fundamental level, a lie.

Take, for instance, the months-long standoff going on in North Dakota between a company seeking to build an oil-pipeline – proven for over a century to be THE most reliable, safe, and environmentally-friendly manner in which to transport oil (among many other things) – and left-wing radicals and their Native American dupes, who demand the pipeline not be built so that oil and gas pumped from the Bakken formation in western North Dakota can continue to be transported by rail, which is the most dangerous, prone to failure, and environmentally un-friendly means of transporting oil.

To show how much they care about the environment, leftists and their Native American friends have squatted on private land for months, preventing construction, while leaving heaping mounds of trash and even lighting piles of old tires on fire for good measure.  Because nothing says “I care deeply for the environment” like trashing pristine prairie and filling the sky with thick clouds of acrid, black smoke.  Oh, they also destroyed valuable construction equipment and several private automobiles:

Wo, that prairie looks really, really dry.  Not a cloud in the sky.  What would have happened if those flames ignited a brush fire that burned out of control?

The environmentalists care so very, very much about their fellow man and the good of creation, at least one of them opened fire on police and national guard who were sent to evict them from this privately-owned land:

Law enforcement officers dressed in riot gear and firing bean bags and pepper spray evicted protesters Thursday from private land in the path of the Dakota Access oil pipeline, dramatically escalating a monthslong dispute over Native American rights and the project’s environmental impact.

In an operation that took nearly six hours, hundreds of armed state and local police and National Guard — some on foot and others in trucks, military Humvees and buses — pushed past burning barricades to slowly envelop the camp.

No serious injuries were reported, though one man was hurt in the leg and received treatment from a medic.

Donnell Hushka, a spokeswoman for the Morton County Sheriff’s Department, said 117 protesters had been arrested as of 8:15 p.m. Thursday. She said Morton County will be using other jails to house people……

……..Among those arrested was a woman who pulled out a .38-caliber pistol and fired three times at officers, narrowly missing a sheriff’s deputy, State Emergency Services spokeswoman Cecily Fong said. Officers did not return fire, she said.

Sheriff Kyle Kirchmeier said the camp had been cleared by nightfall although police were still dealing with protesters on the perimeter. Though officials earlier said they planned to turn the site over to private security, Kirchmeier said police would stay for now.

“We’re not leaving the area,” he said. “We are just going to make sure that we maintain a presence in the area so the roadway stays open, and to keep individuals from camping on private land.”

Opponents of the pipeline over the weekend set up camp on private land owned by Texas-based Energy Transfer Partners, which is working to complete the 1,200-mile pipeline to carry oil from western North Dakota to Illinois. The route skirts the Standing Rock Reservation and the tribe says it could endanger water supplies and disturb cultural sites. The state of North Dakota says no sensitive cultural sites have been found in the area.

I have personal experience of how much tribes want to guard and defend the sacredness of the land they occasionally wandered through in their previous nomadic existence.  A long time ago, I worked for FMC Phosphorous Chemicals Division in Pocatello, ID.  The plant, built right after WWII, was on tribal land.  The plant was also one of the worst environmental disasters in the entire United States.  Decades of extremely lax handling of waste effluent from the production of elemental phosphorous – one of the most toxic, dangerous chemicals known to man – including the burying of at least 11 complete railroad tank cars completely filled with a toxic sludge of mud, water, and phos, had made the place into what was, at the time, the worst Superfund site in the country.  FMC fought tooth and nail to keep from having to remediate the site.  But guess what?  So did the Bannock-Shoshone tribe on which the plant was located, because they feared implementation of long-delayed remediation would cost them jobs.  And, in the end, it did.  Once the EPA finally won its suit against FMC, the entire plant was shut down in 2000.

That was the place where I had the pleasure of experiencing my boots catching on fire after walking through the furnace building, having the soles melt off after standing on a thin metal grate for too long above 2000+ degree slag coming off the furnaces, and getting a nice phos burn on my arm.  Earlier workers got to learn about phossy jaw, a horrific disease caused by long exposure to elemental phosphorous, that literally dissolves the bone structure of a body from the inside out.

At any rate, the local tribe showed themselves to be motivated by just the same kind of self-interest as anyone else.  When it came down to a choice between relatively good paying jobs in an economically depressed area or protection of the environment, they sided decisively with the former for years.  Of course, now that the jobs are long gone they have become supremely concerned about the environment, as instead of properly remediating the site, the entire thing was just paved over after FMC pulled out.  The tank cars are still in the ground, slowly deteriorating, as is thousands of tons of slag and other products of decades of slipshod production (for comparison, a Monsanto plant in Soda Springs, which makes the same product, has long been lionized as a very well run plant from an environmental perspective).

Now, the tribal groups in North Dakota are not those in Idaho.  The circumstances are different.  So perhaps the comparison is unfair.  But I have a sneaking suspicion this is really a well-orchestrated shakedown of Energy Transfer Partners, the builders of the pipeline, seeking more “concessions” meaning $$$ in order to make this “problem” go away.  This has been a prime means through which leftist groups obtain funding, aside from being on Uncle Sam’s very generous gravy train, that is.  I guess the tribal land in North Dakota is too remote to make a go of casino building.  Shakedowns in the form of guaranteed employment of tribe members was another way FMC bought off tribal support of its environmental problems.

On a broader level, as to why scores of leftist activists have been camped out on the North Dakota prairie for days or weeks at a time, we can rest assured they are being very well-paid for their trouble.  This is about increasing the cost of fossil fuel production to make chimera like “alternative energy” seem more competitive.  And, it’s a shakedown for more funding, this time from a private company.  All of these things serve the interest of the Left generally and the specific individuals involved.

The rest is just smoke and mirrors from my vantage point.  But maybe I’ve grown a bit jaded in gaging the motives of those on the Left.

……even if only for a minute or two.  The video excerpt below came from a sermon he gave at the 2016 Fatima Conference held in Chicago recently.  I certainly hope The Fatima Center will upload the entire sermon soon.  Father Rodriguez’ is a voice we hear far too seldom:

The 100th anniversary of Fatima will begin in just over 6 months.  That same year will mark the 500th anniversary of protestantism.  I don’t think one needs a great deal of imagination to  note the ominous portents of such an alignment of dates of the utmost significance.  Then again, Our Blessed Lord said He would come as a thief in the night.  My personal judgment is almost certain to come before any general judgment, so I work out my salvation with fear and trembling.

Father’s point is well taken: have we listened?  Yes, of course, the hierarchy most obviously has not.  But have we?  Are we doing all we can to abandon ourselves to Divine Providence and live in accord with God’s Will for us at all times, or do we perhaps reject that will in preference for our own.  We would not be human if, at the very least, we did not struggle mightily with the battle between God’s will for us and our own fallen natures.  I have no problem admitting that far too often, I assert my own will in preference to God’s.  We may be small cogs in a great machine, but if a few million of us really abandoned ourselves to God’s will, the Church and the earth, could, and I dare say would, be transformed.

Another recent video featuring Father Rodriguez I had failed upload records a Mass he offered on Mount Cristo Rey in Sunland Park, New Mexico.  I am uncertain of when the Mass was offered.  The weather was far from ideal, but the Mass is beautiful.  Perhaps you will find this video as edifying as I did when I first watched it a few weeks ago:

There is a blog entry of the pilgrimage made up Mt. Cristo Rey and the Mass here.  Lots of photos.  Some regular readers of this blog figure prominently in the photos.  Can you guess who they are?  One is a stunningly handsome man of some years and great wisdom and experience. Yeah, you’d think it’d be me, but I wasn’t there.  I don’t know who put this Mount Cristo Rey together, nor who owns the property, but it looks most impressive!  I pray we may have similar devotional pilgrimages here locally.  Actually, I do know of one upcoming on Dec. 8, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, but that’s a private event as far as I know, for now.  Perhaps one day it may be more open to the public.

For those with inquiring minds, to my knowledge, Father’s situation in El Paso remains the same. He remains a priest in good standing, but with no official assignment or apostolate in the Diocese.  Father continues to remain very active, however, as the videos above attest.  There is much more he does for the care of souls, but I’ll leave that lie for now.

May God support and defend Fr. Michael Rodriguez, and may has manifold gifts, piety, and sufferings be amply rewarded by our merciful God.  May His Will be done in all things.

A couple of local pro-life announcements.  A fundraiser for the White Rose crisis pregnancy center – which, being in Texas, is not required to tell women where they can get abortions, as CPCs are in California, now – will be held Saturday Nov. 5 2016 at 7pm at the Royal Oaks Country Club in Dallas.  Admission is $150 per person but the evening features a talk from Steven Mosher of Population Research Institute, a guy I respect greatly.  Yes it’s expensive but the money goes directly to help keep women from having abortions.  All details below:

In addition, though I missed its start by weeks (oopsie!), 40 Days for Life is ongoing.  This is what I get for almost never paying attention to the news, local or otherwise!

They are having a 40 Days for Life rally this Saturday Oct. 29.  It is an ecumenical confab being held at Christ for the Nations Conference Center at the junction of I-35E and US67.  This effort ties in with others occurring in all 50 states, ostensibly.  More details here.  I, for one, would be very wary at that locale. There is a really good sidewalk counselor going to speak there, though.  May well be worth it.

There, I guess I can call this blog Dallas for another month.

PS – If any reader attends the White Rose dinner, I’d love to get a synopsis of the talk by Dr. Mosher.  Thanking you in advance!

A couple of videos showing Christians – probably Orthodox – retaking some churches and returning home.  The devastation of their communities has been extensive.  The churches were ransacked and looted.  Religious art was deliberately destroyed by the satan-worshipping monsters of ISIS.  To a very large extent, however, the United States created this situation, first by invading precipitously, then by committing insufficient forces to pacify the country, then allowing a counterinsurgency to drag out, building hatreds and attracting jihadists from all over, and then by evacuating the country prematurely under Obama’s campaign pledge.  Obama and his administration were even more directly complicit in the formation of ISIS by arming rebels against the Assad regime.  Thus the entire situation can really be laid at our government’s feet.

A 360 view of the devastation, including the hateful sign of nun, for Nazarene, the islamists applied to everything Christian, so it could be identified for ransacking:

Poor Christians.  Assyrian Orthodox, I would guess.  Even after ISIS is driven out, it’s not going to be beer and skittles for them.  I don’t think the Shia-dominated Iraqi army is going to be overly friendly.  It seemed secular strong men – Hussein, Mubarak, Assad –  were really the best friends Christians in the Mideast could have.  Popular government there quickly leads to venting of ancient hatreds.

The Paramount Duty of Shepherds to Guard the Flock Exposes the Manifest Failure of So Many Today October 27, 2016

From Dom Prosper Gueranger’s exegesis on the life of St. Thomas of Canterbury from the 2nd volume of The Liturgical Year, some commentary on the first and foremost duty of bishops, to guard the flock through defense of the Faith, especially in its most sacred beliefs, from all attacks, and to be willing to suffer even the most outrageous abuses and persecutions in this effort.  Obviously, the bishops of the Church have, almost to a man, fallen far, far short of this lofty ideal in recent decades, and have in many cases not only abandoned their sacred duty but have taken positive action to deliberately undermine the Faith and the good of souls.  Whether one calls this treason or something else, the evidence is overwhelming that the Church has been cursed with shepherds wholly unworthy of the name for a lifetime or more.

In reality, truly saintly bishops like Thomas of Canterbury have always been far too rare, but never in the history of the Church, outside, perhaps, the Arian heresy, have so many bishops not only failed in their duty, but have taken up arms against the constant belief and practice of the Faith.

As per usual, I will add emphasis and comments:

But in what does this sacred liberty consist?  It consists in the Church’s absolute independence from the secular power in the ministry of the Word of God, which she is bound to preach in season and out of season, as St. Paul says, to all mankind, without distinction of race or age or sex; in the administration of the Sacraments, to which she must invite all men without exception, in order to aid the world’s salvation; in the practice, free from all human control, of the Counsels, as well as of the Precepts, of the Gospel; in the unobstructed intercommunication of the several degrees of her sacred hierarchy; in the publication and application of her decrees and ordinances in matters of discipline; in the maintenance and development of the Institutions she has founded; in holding and governing her temporal patrimony; and lastly in the defense of those privileges which have been adjudged to her by the civil authority itself, in order that her ministry of peace and charity might be unembarrassed and respected.

Such is the Liberty of the Church.  It is the bulwark of the Sanctuary.  Every breach there imperils the Hierarchy, and even the very Faith.  A bishop may not flee, as the hireling, nor hold his peace, like those dumb dogs of which the Prophet Isaias speaks, and which are not able to bark (Isa lvi:10).  He is the Watchman of Israel; he is a traitor if he first lets the enemy enter the citadel, and then, but only then, gives the alarm and risks his person and his life. [Would that we had shepherds that would at least do that!  From the first “opening of the windows of the Church,” and the accompanying “razing of the bastions,” not only have virtually all bishops failed to oppose the smoke of satan rushing into every corner of the Church, many have happily joined in its dissemination and penetration into the Body of Christ!  These weak men have been complicit in the Church’s destruction, often willingly  aiding and abetting that effort]  The obligation of laying down his life for his flock begins to be in force at the enemy’s first attack upon the very outposts of the City, which is only safe when they are strongly guarded.

The consequence of the pastor’s resistance may be of the most serious nature; in which event we must remember a truth which has been admirably expressed by Bossuet in his magnificent panegyric on St. Thomas of Canterbury, which we regret not being able to give from beginning to end.  “It is an established law,” he says, “that every success the Church acquires costs her the life of some of her children, and that in order to secure her rights she must shed her own blood.  Her Divine Spouse redeemed her by the Blood He shed for her; and He wishes that she should purchase on the same terms the graces He bestows upon her.  It was by the blood of the Martyrs that she extended her conquests far beyond the limits of the Roman Empire.  It was her blood that procured her both the peace she enjoyed under the Christian, and the victory she gained over the pagan emperors.  So that as she had to shed her blood for the propagation of her teaching, she had also to bleed in order to make her authority accepted.  The discipline, therefore, as well as the faith of the Church, was to have its Martyrs.”

————End Quote————

That’s a really beautiful analysis by Bossuet.  Does anyone know of a good collection of his writings in English?

That aside, we can see in this lesson the major reason why the Church’s role and influence has diminished, and why her lifeblood is hemorrhaging away on an almost daily basis.  Her leaders have abandoned that missionary spirit and willingness for martyrdom that has provided that great torrents of Grace in the past to sanctify and vivify the Church.  That sense of abandonment of duty is really at the core of the crisis in the Church.  Almost all leaders fear men more than God, and desire earthly comforts and plaudits more than heroic sanctity, even martyrdom.  Again, there have never been huge numbers of souls in the Church possessed of such great holiness, but there have always been enough – and even more, when crises arose in the past, there tended to be more souls who cooperated with Grace to achieve great holiness, to serve as an antidote and restorative for the sources of the crisis.  That is something very much missing in the Church today.

Lay people and lower clergy and religious can fill that vitally needed role to a degree, but at some point, it often requires a very holy prelate to really turn things around and get the Church back on track, a Charles Borromeo or Anthony Marie Claret.  I shall pray with even greater fervor that our own age may finally have such saintly shepherds, the lack of which is at the very core of the dissolution of the Body of Christ we see all around us.

Alberta Shuts Down Largest Homeschooling Group October 26, 2016

The government of the Canadian province of Alberta has shut down the state’s largest homeschooling association.  The state alleged vague failures of accounting, which the association vehemently refutes.  It is worth noting that Alberta, reliably Canada’s most conservative province, elected a socialist government last year when the conservative party split into feuding factions (hmmm…….).  The result has been disaster from head to foot.

Some readers think the homeschooling phenomenon slipped under the radar of the ruling elite, that they did not think it would ever be practiced by more than a relative handful of nuts.  Now that several million American families are choosing homeschooling and the movement continues to grow by leaps and bounds, the elite is starting to take notice and react to this existential threat.  Remember that Canadia tends to be 10 years or so ahead of the US in such matters (like pseudo-sodo-marriage that led to the collapse of free speech):

Alberta’s largest Christian home-schooling association has been effectively shut down by the province’s NDP government after it found what Education Minister David Eggen called a “fail[ure] to demonstrate accountability of funding received from the government of Alberta.”

But the association is denying wrongdoing.

“WISDOM/Trinity has been shut down by AB Education. They announced this with a press release filled with partial truths amounting to calumny,” the association stated in a press release on Tuesday……

A slew of not terribly convincing accusations follow, which the homeschooling group rebuts to one degree or another.

………Eggen has been at open war with alternative education options in Alberta, including private schools, for their refusal to adopt the government’s “anti-bullying” policies that single out sexual minorities for protection by giving them free access to washrooms and change rooms of their choice.

In September, Eggen went as far as publicly stating that he would be willing to strip two Christian schools of their public funding if they would not abandon their Christian principles and allow clubs promoting homosexuality and/or transgender students in washrooms of the opposite sex. [So is this likely really about complying with the sexular pagan agenda, being brought to heel before Moloch, rather than about the funds concerned, which were a trifle relative to spending on public students?]

Eggen told reporters on Tuesday at the legislature that “[WISDOM/]Trinity has failed to demonstrate accountability of funding received from the government of Alberta,” adding that the “scale of this is quite unique, I think.”

The WISDOM/Trinity home-schooling operations oversee 3,491 home education students registered for the 2016-17 school year as well as 13 regular students in a classroom setting…

….The education minister told reporters that parents connected to WISDOM/Trinity have been contacted and asked to make arrangements for their children’s education. He also said the province has notified the Canada Revenue Agency and the RCMP and asked them to determine whether the home-schooling association should face further investigation.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think the situation in Alberta, as in several US states, is that kids can only be homeschooled in a formal program structure that has external setting of curriculum, grading, etc.  That is, parents can’t choose their own program and grade their kid’s work themselves, it has to be submitted to the organizing body (as in how Seton tends to work in the US).  I don’t know how many of these bodies there are in Alberta, nor how easily families could possibly switch programs mid-year.

Some folks in the comments at Lifesite are claiming this ban came out of the blue, while one is maintaining that this homeschooling group has been in hot water for a while and that the previous conservative government had actually initiated this investigation, or a similar one.  Reviewing the state’s allegations in some detail, they appear to be claiming that the couple that runs the homeschooling association is attempting to enrich themselves off of government dollars.  The amounts involved are quite minimal with regard to the scope of spending for public school districts and students.  It appears the administrators of the homeschooling group are crummy accountants and didn’t keep enough distinction between personal and homeschooling income and disbursements, but it hardly smells like such a dire situation as to necessitate shutting the whole thing down on virtually no notice.

The lesson in this age, boys and girls, is that if you are going to accept government money, you had better keep excellent records and have a good lawyer on retainer.  Even then they can likely nail you whenever they feel the urge.

Are the Demonrat-Funded Push-Polls Simply Trying to Aid Hillary, or Something Much Worse? October 26, 2016

The explosive revelations from the Wikileaks release of the contents of Hillary’s private e-mail server continue day after day.  One of the most dismaying recent revelations is the coordination that has been revealed between the Clinton campaign and polling organizations, indicating that the campaign is paying these organizations to slant their polls to give more favorable results to Clinton.  This may be done for a number of reasons: to make her election seem inevitable, to lower turnout for Trump, to give democrat supporters heart that they are part of not just the winning team, but a historically inevitable wave of progress, etc.  But another reason exists that is more troubling, and is examined somewhat in the videos below.  That is to lay the groundwork for electoral fraud on a massive scale, insuring Hillary’s election no matter who the people actually support.

I admit, that would normally seem far-fetched, but given early reports of voting machines switching people’s votes from Trump to Hillary here in Texas, and several recent admissions from democrat operatives that electoral fraud is a normal way they win elections, I don’t think it can be discounted.

Some background on how the push-polling works (push polling is a poll conducted deliberately not to gage real opinion, but to push opinion in a desired direction):

Earlier this morning we wrote about the obvious sampling bias in the latest ABC / Washington Post poll that showed a 12-point national advantage for Hillary.  Like many of the recent polls from Reuters, ABC and The Washington Post, this latest poll included a 9-point sampling bias toward registered democrats.

“METHODOLOGY – This ABC News poll was conducted by landline and cellular telephone Oct. 20-22, 2016, in English and Spanish, among a random national sample of 874 likely voters. Results have a margin of sampling error of 3.5 points, including the design effect. Partisan divisions are 36-27-31 percent, Democrats – Republicans – Independents.”

Of course, while democrats may enjoy a slight registration advantage of a couple of points, it is nowhere near the 9 points reflected in this latest poll.

Meanwhile, we also pointed out that with huge variances in preference across demographics one can easily “rig” a poll by over indexing to one group vs. another.  As a quick example, the ABC / WaPo poll found that Hillary enjoys a 79-point advantage over Trump with black voters.  Therefore, even a small “oversample” of black voters of 5% could swing the overall poll by 3 full points.  Moreover, the pollsters don’t provide data on the demographic mix of their polls which makes it impossible to “fact check” the bias…convenient.

Now, for all of you out there who still aren’t convinced that the polls are “adjusted”, we present to you the following Podesta email, leaked earlier today, that conveniently spells out, in detail, exactly how to “manufacture” the desired data. The email starts out with a request for recommendations on “oversamples for polling” in order to “maximize what we get out of our media polling.”

I also want to get your Atlas folks to recommend oversamples for our pollingbefore we start in February. By market, regions, etc. I want to get this all compiled into one set of recommendations so we can maximize what we get out of our media polling.

The email even includes a handy, 37-page guide with the following poll-rigging recommendations.  In Arizona, over sampling of Hispanics and Native Americans is highly recommended……

There is a great deal more at the link.  For those with shorter attention spans, like me, Milo Yiannopolous explains largely the same thing in video format, providing more evidence for how biased many polls have been:

I’m not a big fan of Alex Jones on a variety of levels, though some of his material has become more compelling to me of late, but this discussion provided in the comments earlier by reader Tim is also worth reviewing:

Uff da……Trump surely does rub me the wrong way.  But the opponent is as close to the devil incarnate as this nation has ever seen in a presidential candidate.

I think it a bit bold to claim Trump has already won, but given the huge number of regular democrat voters crossing over to support him, who knows?

Milo brings up an extremely important point.  The Brexit vote was a relatively close analogue to this 2016 presidential election.  The concerns were the same: Brits felt their country slipping away from them via mass immigration and a culture spinning out of control, felt a near total disconnect from the self-anointed elites (the feeling was reciprocated, and then some), and voted to act to prevent their country from falling over a tipping point from which recovery would be impossible.  In the Brexit, the elites constantly scolded the voters on how stupid they are, on how racist and homophobic, tried to frighten them that pulling out of the EU would bring instant and total economic ruin, and ginned up numerous polls that showed the remain side running away with a huge win right up to the day of the election.  Interestingly, however, the elites remained very nervous and even on the day of the election said it was a tossup. Of course, it wasn’t, exit won handily, even though implementation is only being done grudgingly, if at all.

The Romney camp tried to argue that polls were biased against them in 2012, but the final result wound up being quite close to what the polls in aggregate had predicted.  There were some reports of voter fraud in the 2012 election, too, however.

The media has been running an all-out campaign against Trump, just as they did in 2008 and 2012, but has gone even further, if possible, this time.  Of course, Trump has provided much of the ammunition himself, but if we had anything like an unbiased media, Clinton would be in grave trouble over her far more damning, and dangerous, instances of corruption, lying, and outright law-breaking.

We’ll finally know in just under two weeks.  I’ll be glad to have this election behind us.  If you’re a gun person, I would stock up now, before prices skyrocket and availability plummets.  If Hillary wins, and with her guaranteed to shift the balance of the Supreme Court enormously, there will certainly be a huge run on ammo and guns, and rightly so.

Oh, and get this: per the usual fantasy land the media constantly creates, USA Today warns of “election day violence” perpetrated by Trump supporters.  They completely ignore the fact that virtually all the violence surrounding Trump rallies was planned, funded, coordinated, instigated, and carried out by paid professional demonrat party operatives.

But that little bit of truth doesn’t fit the narrative.

So what do you think – will Trump win?  Let me rephrase that – will he win by sufficient margin to overcome the guaranteed fraud demonrats will engage in?

At any rate, do your duty as a citizen and Catholic and vote your conscience, unless that means voting for Clinton, in which case, you’re not a Catholic at all.
