The government of the Canadian province of Alberta has shut down the state’s largest homeschooling association.  The state alleged vague failures of accounting, which the association vehemently refutes.  It is worth noting that Alberta, reliably Canada’s most conservative province, elected a socialist government last year when the conservative party split into feuding factions (hmmm…….).  The result has been disaster from head to foot.

Some readers think the homeschooling phenomenon slipped under the radar of the ruling elite, that they did not think it would ever be practiced by more than a relative handful of nuts.  Now that several million American families are choosing homeschooling and the movement continues to grow by leaps and bounds, the elite is starting to take notice and react to this existential threat.  Remember that Canadia tends to be 10 years or so ahead of the US in such matters (like pseudo-sodo-marriage that led to the collapse of free speech):

Alberta’s largest Christian home-schooling association has been effectively shut down by the province’s NDP government after it found what Education Minister David Eggen called a “fail[ure] to demonstrate accountability of funding received from the government of Alberta.”

But the association is denying wrongdoing.

“WISDOM/Trinity has been shut down by AB Education. They announced this with a press release filled with partial truths amounting to calumny,” the association stated in a press release on Tuesday……

A slew of not terribly convincing accusations follow, which the homeschooling group rebuts to one degree or another.

………Eggen has been at open war with alternative education options in Alberta, including private schools, for their refusal to adopt the government’s “anti-bullying” policies that single out sexual minorities for protection by giving them free access to washrooms and change rooms of their choice.

In September, Eggen went as far as publicly stating that he would be willing to strip two Christian schools of their public funding if they would not abandon their Christian principles and allow clubs promoting homosexuality and/or transgender students in washrooms of the opposite sex. [So is this likely really about complying with the sexular pagan agenda, being brought to heel before Moloch, rather than about the funds concerned, which were a trifle relative to spending on public students?]

Eggen told reporters on Tuesday at the legislature that “[WISDOM/]Trinity has failed to demonstrate accountability of funding received from the government of Alberta,” adding that the “scale of this is quite unique, I think.”

The WISDOM/Trinity home-schooling operations oversee 3,491 home education students registered for the 2016-17 school year as well as 13 regular students in a classroom setting…

….The education minister told reporters that parents connected to WISDOM/Trinity have been contacted and asked to make arrangements for their children’s education. He also said the province has notified the Canada Revenue Agency and the RCMP and asked them to determine whether the home-schooling association should face further investigation.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think the situation in Alberta, as in several US states, is that kids can only be homeschooled in a formal program structure that has external setting of curriculum, grading, etc.  That is, parents can’t choose their own program and grade their kid’s work themselves, it has to be submitted to the organizing body (as in how Seton tends to work in the US).  I don’t know how many of these bodies there are in Alberta, nor how easily families could possibly switch programs mid-year.

Some folks in the comments at Lifesite are claiming this ban came out of the blue, while one is maintaining that this homeschooling group has been in hot water for a while and that the previous conservative government had actually initiated this investigation, or a similar one.  Reviewing the state’s allegations in some detail, they appear to be claiming that the couple that runs the homeschooling association is attempting to enrich themselves off of government dollars.  The amounts involved are quite minimal with regard to the scope of spending for public school districts and students.  It appears the administrators of the homeschooling group are crummy accountants and didn’t keep enough distinction between personal and homeschooling income and disbursements, but it hardly smells like such a dire situation as to necessitate shutting the whole thing down on virtually no notice.

The lesson in this age, boys and girls, is that if you are going to accept government money, you had better keep excellent records and have a good lawyer on retainer.  Even then they can likely nail you whenever they feel the urge.

Are the Demonrat-Funded Push-Polls Simply Trying to Aid Hillary, or Something Much Worse? October 26, 2016

The explosive revelations from the Wikileaks release of the contents of Hillary’s private e-mail server continue day after day.  One of the most dismaying recent revelations is the coordination that has been revealed between the Clinton campaign and polling organizations, indicating that the campaign is paying these organizations to slant their polls to give more favorable results to Clinton.  This may be done for a number of reasons: to make her election seem inevitable, to lower turnout for Trump, to give democrat supporters heart that they are part of not just the winning team, but a historically inevitable wave of progress, etc.  But another reason exists that is more troubling, and is examined somewhat in the videos below.  That is to lay the groundwork for electoral fraud on a massive scale, insuring Hillary’s election no matter who the people actually support.

I admit, that would normally seem far-fetched, but given early reports of voting machines switching people’s votes from Trump to Hillary here in Texas, and several recent admissions from democrat operatives that electoral fraud is a normal way they win elections, I don’t think it can be discounted.

Some background on how the push-polling works (push polling is a poll conducted deliberately not to gage real opinion, but to push opinion in a desired direction):

Earlier this morning we wrote about the obvious sampling bias in the latest ABC / Washington Post poll that showed a 12-point national advantage for Hillary.  Like many of the recent polls from Reuters, ABC and The Washington Post, this latest poll included a 9-point sampling bias toward registered democrats.

“METHODOLOGY – This ABC News poll was conducted by landline and cellular telephone Oct. 20-22, 2016, in English and Spanish, among a random national sample of 874 likely voters. Results have a margin of sampling error of 3.5 points, including the design effect. Partisan divisions are 36-27-31 percent, Democrats – Republicans – Independents.”

Of course, while democrats may enjoy a slight registration advantage of a couple of points, it is nowhere near the 9 points reflected in this latest poll.

Meanwhile, we also pointed out that with huge variances in preference across demographics one can easily “rig” a poll by over indexing to one group vs. another.  As a quick example, the ABC / WaPo poll found that Hillary enjoys a 79-point advantage over Trump with black voters.  Therefore, even a small “oversample” of black voters of 5% could swing the overall poll by 3 full points.  Moreover, the pollsters don’t provide data on the demographic mix of their polls which makes it impossible to “fact check” the bias…convenient.

Now, for all of you out there who still aren’t convinced that the polls are “adjusted”, we present to you the following Podesta email, leaked earlier today, that conveniently spells out, in detail, exactly how to “manufacture” the desired data. The email starts out with a request for recommendations on “oversamples for polling” in order to “maximize what we get out of our media polling.”

I also want to get your Atlas folks to recommend oversamples for our pollingbefore we start in February. By market, regions, etc. I want to get this all compiled into one set of recommendations so we can maximize what we get out of our media polling.

The email even includes a handy, 37-page guide with the following poll-rigging recommendations.  In Arizona, over sampling of Hispanics and Native Americans is highly recommended……

There is a great deal more at the link.  For those with shorter attention spans, like me, Milo Yiannopolous explains largely the same thing in video format, providing more evidence for how biased many polls have been:

I’m not a big fan of Alex Jones on a variety of levels, though some of his material has become more compelling to me of late, but this discussion provided in the comments earlier by reader Tim is also worth reviewing:

Uff da……Trump surely does rub me the wrong way.  But the opponent is as close to the devil incarnate as this nation has ever seen in a presidential candidate.

I think it a bit bold to claim Trump has already won, but given the huge number of regular democrat voters crossing over to support him, who knows?

Milo brings up an extremely important point.  The Brexit vote was a relatively close analogue to this 2016 presidential election.  The concerns were the same: Brits felt their country slipping away from them via mass immigration and a culture spinning out of control, felt a near total disconnect from the self-anointed elites (the feeling was reciprocated, and then some), and voted to act to prevent their country from falling over a tipping point from which recovery would be impossible.  In the Brexit, the elites constantly scolded the voters on how stupid they are, on how racist and homophobic, tried to frighten them that pulling out of the EU would bring instant and total economic ruin, and ginned up numerous polls that showed the remain side running away with a huge win right up to the day of the election.  Interestingly, however, the elites remained very nervous and even on the day of the election said it was a tossup. Of course, it wasn’t, exit won handily, even though implementation is only being done grudgingly, if at all.

The Romney camp tried to argue that polls were biased against them in 2012, but the final result wound up being quite close to what the polls in aggregate had predicted.  There were some reports of voter fraud in the 2012 election, too, however.

The media has been running an all-out campaign against Trump, just as they did in 2008 and 2012, but has gone even further, if possible, this time.  Of course, Trump has provided much of the ammunition himself, but if we had anything like an unbiased media, Clinton would be in grave trouble over her far more damning, and dangerous, instances of corruption, lying, and outright law-breaking.

We’ll finally know in just under two weeks.  I’ll be glad to have this election behind us.  If you’re a gun person, I would stock up now, before prices skyrocket and availability plummets.  If Hillary wins, and with her guaranteed to shift the balance of the Supreme Court enormously, there will certainly be a huge run on ammo and guns, and rightly so.

Oh, and get this: per the usual fantasy land the media constantly creates, USA Today warns of “election day violence” perpetrated by Trump supporters.  They completely ignore the fact that virtually all the violence surrounding Trump rallies was planned, funded, coordinated, instigated, and carried out by paid professional demonrat party operatives.

But that little bit of truth doesn’t fit the narrative.

So what do you think – will Trump win?  Let me rephrase that – will he win by sufficient margin to overcome the guaranteed fraud demonrats will engage in?

At any rate, do your duty as a citizen and Catholic and vote your conscience, unless that means voting for Clinton, in which case, you’re not a Catholic at all.

It Happens All The Time: Nurse Accused of Murdering Numerous Elderly Patients October 26, 2016

My aunt was killed this way.  Her “nurse” kept her just absolutely blasted on opioids until she’d burned through all my aunt’s savings, then my aunt miraculously died literally the day the money ran out.

In hospitals, I wouldn’t doubt if half of all elder deaths are deliberate.  We had another first hand experience of having to watch an elderly hospitalized person like a hawk in order to keep the medical staff from doing something horrible.  With one nurse in particular, the desire to “end their suffering” was palpable.  The individual in question was able to leave the hospital and died at home several months later, of natural causes.

Anyway, a nurse in Canada has been charged with at least 8 counts of murder for dosing patients to death, deliberately:

A nurse in Canada has been accused of preying on elderly patients at assisted living centers for nearly a decade — intentionally delivering fatal doses of drugs to them as she jumped from facility to facility, authorities said.

Elizabeth Wettlaufer, 49, was charged Tuesday with first-degree murder in the deaths of eight people, ranging between 75 and 96 years old.

Her victims included five women and three men — all of whom were patients at Caressant Care nursing homes in Ontario where Wettlaufer had worked.

“We are confident at this time that all of the victims have been identified,” Woodstock Police Chief William Renton said at a press conference.

Since Wettlaufer worked at several other long-term care facilities, officials said authorities haven’t ruled out the possibility of more victims.

The eight patients that have been identified so far were all administered a drug before their deaths, but officials have refused to say what kind.

“I’m not in a position at this time to comment of specifics of the drug,” said London Police Service Det. Sup. William Merrylees. [Because doing so might be politically inconvenient, say, because the drug is one commonly associated with murder by doctor euthanasia?]

………After it was revealed Tuesday that Wettlaufer had been disguising her hits as harmless deaths from disease or old age, many of the patients’ relatives came forward saying they had grown suspicious of their care — including Horvath’s daughter.

In my experience, people often have suspicions. And those suspicions are often well grounded.

But for how long will it be illegal to involuntarily kill- murder – an old or sick person in this country?  Even worse, how long will it be before sick people are forced to die by a corrupt government-corporate alliance that only cares about how much things cost, and not making people well?  California’s approval of euthanasia is already having an entirely predictable effect- insurers are refusing to cover chemotherapy while eagerly paying for self-administered suicide drugs:

At age 29, Packer was diagnosed with scleroderma, a chronic autoimmune disease that causes scar tissue to form in her lungs. A doctor told her she had three years to live. Now 33, she has outlived the death sentence.

But as her condition deteriorates, she’s finding little support for her fight to stay alive.

Since California’s End of Life Option Act took effect, attitudes expressed by sick members of support groups she’s run or been involved with have changed to the grim. Where once members exchanged messages of hope, “people constantly are talking about, ‘We should be doing this [dying].’ ”

“I just wanted no part of it,” says Packer, a devout Roman Catholic. [and mother of 4, aged 7-13.  Obviously pregnancy has been out for her for the past 4  years]

Then her doctors suggested that switching to another chemotherapy drug might buy her time. Her medical insurance company refused to pay. She says she asked if the company covered the cost of drugs to put her to death. She was told the answer is yes — with a co-payment of $1.20.

“My jaw dropped.”

Months later, after Packer threatened to tell her story to the media, the drug was approved.

Typical.

It took barely ten years in Holland, Belgium, and similar countries for “voluntary euthanasia” to advance to “involuntary euthanasia.” If you can get a doctor in Holland to decree a life worthless, that person’s life if forfeit, regardless of age or condition or personal desire.  Involuntary euthanasia is all the rage over there, with scores if not hundreds killed a year.

All we’ve ever done is run a few decades behind them. Open, legal murder of the elderly and sick will be here, soon enough, to the extent that a nurse like the one above may be impossible to prosecute.

CRS Caught Acquiring and Distributing Millions of Contraceptives October 26, 2016

I know probably most readers of this blog are already well-informed of Catholic Relief Services many nefarious activities and have long been indisposed to support them in any way, but for the record, because this is not an inconsequential development, Lepanto Institute has found that CRS acquired and distributed millions of contraceptives under USAID direction during the period 2006-10 in the Congo.

The reports are detailed and are based on CRS’ own internal, triple-checked inventories and disbursements.  Note this all occurred while PBXVI was reigning, imagine what they are getting up to today:
