If the “Alt-Right” Wants to “Save the White Race,” Maybe They Should Start Having a Few Babies September 7, 2017

Lots of unsaid assumptions built into that post title – by “alt-right,” I’m referring to the media definition of the alt-right as the pseudo/neo-nazi or openly racialist portion of the far right, which isn’t even right wing, in that many are former Obama voters and Bernie supporters, most are avowed statists, and even worse, collectivists.  They simply have a nationalistic/racialist component to their statist views (as all good Nazis do), and are happy to use the state to purge society of racially/ethnically undesirable elements.  They are also the inevitable reaction to the Left’s use of race and ethnicity relentlessly as tools to gain and hold onto political and economic power.

That’s not to say concerns over immigration and the effect it is having on the political, economic, and cultural future of this nation can simply be dismissed as “racism,” as the statist media constantly tries to do.  There are many points the alt-right brings up which are entirely valid.  But racialism is always destructive, and it is very sad to see many leaders in the Church engaging in it (just practicing their preferred religion when they do).  It also undermines the overall (and entirely just and reasonable) opposition to current US immigration policy, attempts to build a wall or otherwise enforce more sensible immigration laws, in giving the media, on a silver platter, exactly the kind of racialist/white nationalist image they then turn around and tar the entire effort with.  It’s not helpful, and I increasingly wonder whether much of this former leftist “alt-right” isn’t false flag/astroturf.  I mean, who could possibly think a torchlight rally replete with racialist chants would be a good idea?

Nevertheless, Sargon has a pretty good video (language warning, however) pilloring the “alt-right” for lambasting others for not being sufficiently anti-semetic or in favor of white nationalism, while noting that the widespread sterility among white nationalist leaders and rank and file makes their claims to be so very concerned about the fate of the white race just more LARPing from the millennial crowd.  If you’re so worried about the great white ‘Murican race being swamped in a sea of brown, why don’t you settle down, get married, and have a bunch of kids?  And become Catholic, while you’re at it, very possibly saving your immortal soul:

As for me, I just want everyone to become Catholic.  Really, truly Catholic, not pseudo-, post-conciliar Catholic.  I have grave concerns over illegal immigration and extremely high immigration rates in general not out of any racial sensitivity but due to the effect it has on the poorest in our society, leaving them jobless or badly underpaid as they compete against a huge cohort existing in an underground economic status where they can be paid trifling wages that are unjust. There are also many cultural and social factors to consider in continuing mass immigration, especially considering the explosion in muslim immigration into this nation over the past 15 years or so.  I also have concerns over Hispanic Catholics coming to the US, falling into the materalist lifestyle and philosophy here, spiritually starving to death in the Novus Ordo Church, and falling away from the Faith in vast numbers.  I estimate probably 60% of the Hispanics in Irving are either fallen away Catholics or completely converted to protestant sects.

There are also extremely significant national security issues dealing with the unprotected southern border.  Build a wall – the single most cost-effective and efficient mechanism to gain control over the current chaos along the southern border – and then we can talk about sensible immigration policy going forward. But first, the crisis must be dealt with.  Unfortunately, it increasingly seems Trump will not be able to keep his primary campaign promise to build a wall.  If funding is not included in this year’s budget, I’m certain it never will be, at least with Trump as a Republican.  I tell you, I am so done with the Republican party at this point.  I am completely, totally disgusted with them.  They have done everything possible to undermine and oppose Trump at every turn.  After numerous wave elections, the revolt in 1994, the Tea Party movement, with unprecedented control of all three branches of government, all they have brought is failure and capitulation.  The Republican party is 3/4 dominated by secretly or openly leftist, and always corporatist, gadflies. I’m just about sick of the whole mess at this point.  What we have in the US at present are two left-wing parties, one far left and the other center-left.  I increasingly believe the only way forward is to break up at least one of the parties and rebuild the two party system with one or two wholly new parties with very different alignments and bases of support.  Clean out as much of the current self-serving, lobbyist-chasing, money-grubbing crowd as possible.

And on a final, but unrelated note, regarding yesterday’s post on evolution being the seed-bed for the collapse of Christianity, consider the following from another Youtube channel.  How much of what we believe is literally programmed into us through the incredibly powerful indoctrination tool most all (still, sadly) have as the centerpiece of the layout of their living rooms (and often bedrooms, and kitchen, and…….), the TV?  How much of a role has TV played in programming people to accept not just evolution, but things like pseudo-sodo-marriage, abortion, euthanasia, sexual license, et. al.,?  As Father Phil Wolfe says, the best thing you can do with your TV is take a shotgun to it:

Food for Thought: Every One of the Manson Family Women Came from Broken Homes…… September 7, 2017

…….or had atrocious, abusive relationships with their fathers. The primary cause, however, of sending very healthy, successful, happy young girls on a downward spiral that ended in becoming possessed by a literal demon incarnate and dominated by a wholly reprobate sense (up to and including allowing their own toddler children to be included in the “family” orgies) was legalized divorce on demand.  So, in a very real sense, one could say that feminism was responsible for the Manson family and the soul-rending atrocities they engaged in, of which the notorious murders only made up a very small part.

[Content warning for typical immodest hippie dress]

Now of course this is not to say that every child of divorce will wind up in such a sad state, but my own experience with several friends whose parents divorced is that every single one of them was devastated by it, even when the divorces occurred when they were grown and out of the house.  Divorce takes a terrible, sometimes hidden toll, and has played a huge role in the general collapse of the culture.  Furthermore, while separation of the spouses is in rare cases lamentably necessary, a huge number of divorces occur for basically selfish, skin-deep reasons.

How’s this for a topic totally out of left field?  Didja every expect to see me do a post on crazy Charles Manson and his nightmare hippie cult?

In a sense, however, Manson and his slave tribe were simply the inevitable result, the inexorable climax of the moronic hippy culture of hedonism and feel-good false virtue signalling. And they were hardly the only ones.  I can’t imagine how much publicity the Manson family, the “Symbionese Liberation Army,” and such would get today.  Perhaps, then, our culture which seems to be coming so much  unglued is not quite as bad off as it often appears.  Then again, rates of divorce, illegitimacy, porn addiction, drug addiction, et. al., are far worse today than they were in the late 60s/early 70s.

As our Blessed Lord told us, we shall not know the day nor the hour.  Several then living Saints, including Doctors Saint Jerome and Saint Augustine, were totally shocked to learn that Rome had been sacked in 410.  The collapse of Rome appears, 1600 years on, as practically inevitable, as totally unsurprising given the dangers and weaknesses afflicting the aged empire.  But at the time, no one really believed impregnable Rome could ever fall.  And yet, it did.

I’ve been meaning to comment on an awesome post by Boniface at Unam Sanctam Catholicam that discusses several very common traditional Catholic tropes.  I don’t think I’ll have time to do so again, today, unfortunately.  That will probably be a 2000 word post, minimum.  God willing, I’ll get to it tomorrow.  At any rate, if you haven’t read it, go do so.  It brings up much worthy of consideration.

Sorry this is late.  The Novena should have started on Tuesday.  But, perhaps better late than never.  You’ve probably already got the Novena well underway.

Short Novena below:

Jesus, Who because of Your burning love for us willed to be crucified and to shed Your Most Precious Blood for the redemption and salvation of our souls, look down upon us and grant the petition we ask for …(mention here)

We trust completely in Your Mercy.
Cleanse us from sin by Your Grace,
sanctify our work,
give us and all those who are dear to us our the grace of Thy Eucharistic Presence, lighten the burden of our sufferings,
bless our families,
and grant to the nations, so sorely afflicted,
Your Peace, which is the only true peace, so that by obeying Your Commandments we may come at last to the glory of Heaven.

Bishop Edward J. Burns has asked the 74 Catholic churches in the Diocese of Dallas to hold a Holy Hour with Eucharistic Adoration on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at seven o’clock in the evening. Bishop Burns will preside at the Holy Hour at the Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe at 2215 Ross Avenue in Downtown Dallas. He also asked that all churches in the diocese ring their bells five minutes before the Holy Hour begins. [Dang.  Wish we had some bells to ring.]

According to Bishop Burns, “This is an opportunity for Catholics to come together to pray for those affected by the hurricane, and in particular for those who have lost their lives. This is something that is being done, to the extent possible, in every diocese in Texas as an act of solidarity and prayerful support with our suffering brothers and sisters.” [Perhaps we should also make acts of reparation during this Holy Hour for the sins of our nation which are bringing Lord knows what calamities down upon us.]

The Bishop has asked that parishes also pray the Rosary before Masses on September 9th and 10. Donated Rosary beads will be distributed before Mass and gathered up to be given to evacuees with the message that the prayer had been offered for them and all victims of Hurricane Harvey.

Mater Dei parish in Irving will be joining all the parishes in the diocese to offer a Holy Hour on Thursday evening for those affected by Hurricane Harvey. At Mater Dei, Benediction and Adoration begin immediately after the 6:30p Mass on Thursday, September 7th and will last for one hour.

As for other parishes, I really don’t know which are joining in this spiritual work of mercy.  I haven’t time to check.  Time is getting short, but you might call to see if your parish is joining in this.  I know of several which are not participating.

I do very much appreciate Bishop Burns calling for the Holy Hour, and for leading one himself at the Cathedral.  I’ll be at Mater Dei.
