A quick (if delayed) post for reader Tim, who knows a man stricken with cancer who then developed various complications he nearly died from.  He is very weak and has a long road ahead of him, not least of which will involve further treatment for the cancer.  The man’s name is Greg Latz and he is a father and head of a large family and, I am told, a quite devout Catholic.  Please, if you would, in your charity, pray for his him and his family and loved ones.

Thank you!

I continue to be in a delicate situation with regard to el trabajando and this blog but I am going to try to put out something from time to time if I possibly can.  This notice is weeks late but I pray it is better late, than never.

So do you think Kurt Schlichter is right, that the divide in this country and leftist extremism must, almost of necessity at this point, end in violence?  David Harsyani also had some interesting thoughts on the growing insanity (leftists transferring their abhorrent online behavior into real life).  My wife doesn’t like to hear about this stuff.  She will, to a quite limited point, but overall she doesn’t want to have to think about it.  How bad can it get in Irving, Texas, after all?

Worse than she hopes, I fear.  We shall see. Stock up on most everything.  Keep your powder dry.  God bless you all.  I miss conversing with you.

Dominus vobiscum!

We miss you too, and prayers going up. I fear a number of us will be facing serious persecution, if not outright violence, very soon.

I’m still one of those terrible liberals, but I will keep Greg, you and your family in my prayers. It’s true that civility is sorely lacking right now, and extremists on both sides aren’t helping any. But I remember the ’60’s, things were a lot more tense on many fronts, and I honestly believe we’re a long, long way from any kind of real persecution (of anyone) or violence. If we all treat each other with respect and Christian charity (and I’m saying this to myself as much as anyone else) we’ll all be fine.

Tantumblogo - June 26, 2018

Well, you have a sense of humor, so maybe not really terrible.

Tim - June 28, 2018

Why would you want to be a liberal?….it is antithetical to Christianity.

It seems like violence is the only possible outcome of this irreparable divide. Actually it has already begun. Ask Steve Scalise… It’s only going to get worse. The progressive Nazis on the left (and yes, their politics IS national socialism) are coming unglued, and since they have no difficulty (in fact they applaud) child slaughter why would they have an issue with violence against political enemies?

It was a joy to see a post from you TB, prayers continue for you and the family… will add Greg to my list.

How “bad” can it get in Irving ?
Clock-Boy was from Irving. I went to college in Irving at a school whose mascot is the Crusaders, and I don’t “want” to think about it either.

Garland had their draw Mohammed contest.

I don’t blame your wife though. I think she’s probably doing her best to preserve world peace by doing her job — on the domestic front.

Tantum! Good to see your _controlling_ boss is getting the slip! I try not to read Townhall.com – they host Guy Benson, a homosexual on there. I hope your work situation improves.

Tantumblogo - June 26, 2018

Situation has not improved, I just don’t care so much anymore. Looking looking.

Et cum spiritu tuo!

Leftist violence has been witnessed, and others continue to dabble and plot, as exposed by Steven Crowder’s team last year:

Raw footage: https://youtu.be/HeyAYrjOjGY

Clearly, these triggered infant communists are in the process of fantasizing about and planning violence, to the point here of what looks like a rehearsal or a pre-event prep, and these are most certainly but one of multiple (many?) cells of homegrown terrorists. Fantasy leads to planning, which leads to rehearsal, which ultimately leads to acting. It’s the same process that psycho- and sociopathic offenders go through before they begin their series of violent offenses. It’s just a matter of time and continued nurturing of the violent fantasy.

My wife also prefers not to think about it. She knows I do, and is somewhat comforted by that fact while simultaneously disturbed by the occasional reminder that I have to continue to remain cognizant of the potential violence brewing around us.

Cheers! God bless you and your family.
