I know this dates from about 10 days ago, but I haven’t commented on it, so it can’t be said to have been done (watch out for the evangelical trolls in the comments at the link – don’t they know that evangelical protestantism is dead, the millenials totally abandoned their WWJD bracelets for bi-curious lifestyles and diabolical social media narcissm?).

So what’s my comment to retired Archbishop Pawel Lenga calling Francis an usurper and a heretic?  If the shoe fits………..and those look like 9 1/2s to me.

I’ll throw in a bit more commentary as we go along:

Catholic Archbishop Jan Lenga,  the former head of the Diocese of Karaganda, Khazakhstan and now retired in Poland, was ordered to stop delivering sermons and speaking with the media because of his frequent statements that Pope Francis is a “heretic” spreading “untruths and sins” and “leading the world astray.” [check, check, and double check?]

Archbishop Lenga has rejected the order to be silent, issued this month by Polish Bishop Wieslaw Mering, because no one in the Polish church apparently has the authority to silence him [because he apparently belongs to a religious order of papal right?  I’m not sure on the circumstances]

Lenga belongs to a religious order, the Congregation of Marians of the Immaculate Conception, and is living as a guest of the order in Lichen, Poland. He reportedly is only subject to an order from the Pope.

“Christ gave me authority through the church to proclaim the truth, and I’ll do so as long as I live,” said Lenga, 69, as reported by Crux.com.  “I won’t yield to degradation by those whose own statements and actions are entangled with heresy and sectarianism.”

“What right do they have to recall what pertains to the church when they themselves have never upheld it?” he said. [Wow.  Preach it, brother.  I guess Lenga is apparently the honeybadger archbishop, because he don’t give a —-.  That, and everything he says is true about all but perhaps 5% of bishops, and I’m being generous]

In a Feb. 25 interview with Gloria TV, Archbishop Lenga said his critics should “form their own church, rather than usurping power in the Catholic Church.” [But that’s not how the Left works.  As Iowahawk brilliantly established several years ago, the Left works by invading a healthy organization, infecting it with Leftism like a virus, killing it from the inside out, and then parading around in its desiccated husk demanding respect.  The Left will continue to occupy and attempt to destroy the human element of the Church so long as it perceives the Church as having any cultural cache and ability to influence people to its ends.  Once the Church or any other organization has been destroyed to the point of uselessness, the Left will then, sometimes, depart.  But sometimes they leave agents behind to make sure it can never resurrect to become a threat. The Left is an endlessly jealous religion that brooks no competition whatsoever.  Thus, our choice is, drive them out by hook or crook, or see the human element of Holy Mother Church essentially destroyed.]

Archbishop Lenga has “co-signed several letters urging Pope Francis to clarify marriage and family teachings after the pope’s 2016 encyclical ‘Amoris Laetitia,'” reported Crux.com.  “He also signed a May 2019 ‘Declaration of Truths‘ alongside U.S. Cardinal Raymond Burke.”…….[and many other worthy Churchmen and laity]

…….. In a book-length interview on YouTube, Archbishop Lenga said he still recognizes Benedict XVI as the Pope; Benedict resigned in February 2013, the first pope to do so in nearly 600 years. Lenga also stated he does not include the name of the “usurper and heretic” Francis in his Mass prayer intentions. [I’m not real hung up on whether Francis is the “real” pope or not.  We could argue forever and none of us are going to make the call, unless there is a future Pius XIII among the readers, in which case, hook me up when  you get to Rome!!  The fact is, Francis has the title and the position and virtually everyone responds to his authority, so he is, for all practical purposes, the pope.  I read the book about Benedict still being kind of a pseudo-pope, and I wasn’t exactly convinced. I believe he is the Pope, just the worst one ever – but only so far.  His successor may be even worse.  The fact that Benedict has stubbornly refused to die (thank you, God!) has prevented Francis from enacting many of the travesties he has desired to enact, just as PBXVI and Cardinal Sarah very adroitly and effectively cut the knees off of the “Amazonian synod” (sponsored and wholly funded by the German episcopal conference, which will say or do anything to keep that sweet, sweet church tax money coming)]

“Bergoglio [Pope Francis] has not confirmed himself in the faith and is not passing that faith to others, he is leading the world astray,” said Archbishop Lenga, as reported in The Tablet. “He proclaims untruths and sins, not the tradition which has endured for 2000 years.”

“He proclaims the truth of this world, which is precisely the truth the Devil,” said the archbishop. [Well that’s pretty harsh, but it is also not untrue. However, playing devil’s advocate since he was brought up, could not the same be said, to varying degrees, about the past 5 predecessors of Francis?  What was Paul VI’s laying aside of the papal tiara, and declaring the Church ready to submit to the “wisdom” of the United Nations?]

In a Jan. 20 interview on Polish television, according to Crux.com, Archbishop Lenga “said ‘many bishops and cardinals’ lacked a ‘deep faith’ and had adopted ‘an attitude of betrayal and destruction’ by seeking to ‘correct Christ’s teaching,’ adding that current confusion in the church indicated ‘the Antichrist is here.'” [Wow, as I said, he’s really the honeybadger archbishop, but the Church desperately needs men willing to speak the Truth, and the whole Truth, unadulterated and without infection by Leftism or sops to the world and its lies and evils. Francis’ predecessors have been less direct counters to the Truth of Jesus Christ than weak men more afraid of offending the world than God. Francis is the first pontiff to directly attack and undermine the Doctrine of the Faith in a direct, deliberate, and systematic way.  That is why comparisons between Francis and amoral “Renaissance popes” or the horrid men who occupied the office in the 800-900s is non sequitur and facile. Those men may have been personally immoral, but they never attacked the Doctrine of the Faith in a consistent and systematic manner, as Francis has done.  Indeed, some of them defended the Faith heroically, at times. We have to come to the sad, heart-breaking realization that man is actually a fervently religious man, just one who worships a different religion and a false god. Indeed, he is using his ill-gotten office to proselytize – which means to aggressively promote a religion, or even shove a belief down the throat of another – for his false religion.  He doesn’t mind proselytism at all, he just hates Catholics proselytizing, as he recognizes it as a threat to his own religion.]

I could go on, but I’ll stop.  In short, Francis is a very, very bad man, but he was also inevitable, given that the vast majority of Catholics today are adherents to the religion of secular/materialist modernism, which is just another variant of Leftism, especially within the clergy and episcopate.  Add to that most national episcopates being wholly addicted to government money, and it was actually a great blessing of God that we didn’t have a Francis or worse much sooner, before the traditional resistance had developed some cohesion and, I think and pray, momentum.

God bless Archbishop Lenga!  I don’t know if he’s a bit too strong in his language and assessments but the Church desperately needs much more clarity and leadership right now.

The future of the institutional Church?

How long do you think these pagans will permit the TLM to coexist in the “same church” as the one they hold hostage?

For those just coming to the realization of what Francis and his ilk are, and what they intend for the Church, well, many other Catholics felt just as scandalized and outraged after Assisi in 1986.  That event was what caused Archbishop Lefebvre to decide he must act to insure the perpetuation of the priestly society he had founded.  It was just as scandalous then, as this Amazonian sin-nod is today.

In other words……….

A lot of people have been very hard on the SSPX over the years.  For some, this hostility was based on ideology, for others, convenience, for a very few, true concern for their souls.  But I fear the vast majority of us who like to think we’re such faithful Catholics may have to make the very, very hard choice the “Lefebvrists” did back in the 70s and 80s – adhere to the true practice of the Faith, or retain the approbation of the institutional Church (I originally wrote Whore of Babylon, but thought that might seem a bit strong.  Ooops).  The Ecclesia Dei communities have been a very cozy middle ground for the past 30 years.  I don’t think those in charge of the Church today will see much use in permitting this coziness to go on for much longer, especially as the number of souls associating with traditional communities continues to explode in direct reaction to the ongoing anti-Catholic travesties in Rome.  Right now the traditional movement is still small enough for the old, out of touch men in Rome to ignore and hope will die a natural death, but for how long?  These guys are anything but blind to the threat we represent to their newchurch.

I Told You They Should Have Smashed Them – Francis Claims Pachamama Idols Fished from Tiber, Will be in St. Peter’s this Sunday October 25, 2019

No half measures, folks.  If you find an idol in a church, the very first thing you do is to smash it so it can never be reused.  I love what the good souls did earlier this week, but they didn’t go quite far enough, it seems:

At the end of Synod works this Friday, Francis spoke on the pagan idols that were being displayed at various Synod events and permanently at various altars at the church of Santa Maria in Traspontina, near the Vatican.
Francis first asked “forgiveness” to those who were offended by the action of those who removed the pagan idols from the church and threw them in the Tiber.
He then assured those present that there had not been “idolatry” in the worship and display of the pagan idols, that they had been recovered, and were now under the care of the police. He also said the pagan idols will be brought to Saint Peter’s  basilicae for the closing ceremony of the Synod, this Sunday.
Now, it’s possible Francis is mistaken or simply making another falsehood, when he claims the idols that will be in St. Peter’s on Sunday are the same ones that were thrown into the Tiber.  First, there have been a great number of these floating around Rome these past several weeks.  Secondly, who knows how many they had in crates.  Nevertheless, for the symbolic value alone, smashing is always the best alternative.  With the resources of a city like Rome, and given that wood floats (save for some exotic hardwoods), it was probably not a major effort to fish them out and recover them.
Will we see Pachamama worshipped in St. Peter’s, then?
Remember, the Vatican insists this didn’t happen:

[UPDATE at bottom.  The men who removed the offensive statues have issued a statement to Life Site News.

My only criticism, is that they should have smashed them first.  Those idols are long and thin, made of wood.  Even an exotic Amazonian hardwood like bloodwood should have been breakable, but, hey, I’ll shut up.  These two guys are heroes.  I don’t want to hear about theft or sin, this was an unbearable offense against God and Holy Mother Church and had to come to precisely this end, just as some good University of Dallas (UD) students stole a blasphemous depiction of Our Blessed Mother from a horrid art exhibit that occurred about a decade ago, when former diocesan and university administration tried turning UD from a generally solidly Catholic college – as intended and founded by good Bishop Gorman, RIP – into something much more worldly, leftist, and fallen.  Fortunately, they mostly failed, though some harm was done to the university and its reputation (full disclosure, my daughter attends UD).

But I demure.  First, the video of the heroic act, then, some commentary by Taylor Marshall, who I had the pleasure of speaking with yesterday after the beautiful Pontifical High Mass at Mater Dei:

Now, some commentary from Dr. Taylor Marshall, who gives some historical context for this act, which is in the tradition of many saintly defenders of the Faith.  In fact, destroying false idols has constantly been a hallmark of stalwart defenders of the Faith for centuries.  It is only of this time of unprecedented heresy, blasphemy, cultural rot and institutional decay within the Church that such ridiculous acts like installing pagan idols in Catholic parishes would not be met with an instant fury of righteous indignation and immediate concrete acts to remove the offending idols. An act like this required great resevoirs of the masculine virtues, and in spite of the calamitous collapse of such virtues among men particularly and all souls generally in the past 200 years or so, it is extremely gratifying to know that some men still possess them.  I am extremely heartened that, after 2 weeks, some hardy souls (finally?) acted:

Say a prayer for these good men, as Marshall did.  I have not seen a formal reaction from Rome, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there is not an ongoing attempt to identify them and perse-prosecute them.

David Rodriguez is in Rome right now for The Fatima Center, and I had actually suggested to him that he go and take care of this ugly business, but I don’t believe David was involved in any way.  I’m sure he wasn’t. Yep.  Absolutely sure.  No doubt about it.

Speaking of DR and The Fatima Center, Fr. Isaac Mary Relyea calls on Francis to convert and become Catholic below.  I can’t say I disagree with that in any way.  What that means, theologically and ecclesiastically, I have no idea, but I don’t disagree with the sentiment at all:

[UPDATE]: The statement from the heroes, via Life Site News:

“This was done for only one reason: Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, his Blessed Mother, and everybody who follows Christ, are being attacked by members of our own Church. We do not accept this! We do not longer stay silent! We start to act NOW!

Because we love humanity, we cannot accept that people of a certain region should not get baptized and therefore are being denied entrance into heaven. It is our duty to follow the words of God, like our holy Mother did. There is not second way of salvation.

Christus vincit, Christus regnat, Christus imperat!

Reads like this was a translation or that these guys are not native English speakers.  It makes no difference, may God be with them.  Dominus vobiscum!

We knew from the beginning – heck, from the beginning of this pontificate – that Francis and his band of elderly leftists would move to “modernize” the Church by attacking many of the dogmas and disciplines they and their generation have found most offensive – priestly celibacy, the sanctity of life, the sanctity of marriage, and the general moral beliefs of the Church (especially those associated with the 6th and 9th Commandments).  This sin-nod was ginned up on a false narrative (the people of the Amazon region ostensibly desiring certain exceptions for themselves with regard to Catholic moral doctrine), fabricated out of whole cloth on a fantastic basis, and made up of an overwhelming number of like-minded hardcore leftist/modernists (unworthy priests and prelates,  many probably plants from the days of the Soviet Union and its satellite states) which insured that the outcome was determined in advance.

Thus, the grave error and violation of discipline of rejecting priestly (and that of bishops, and probably even popes) celibacy was decided entirely in advance of this synod.  There is no debate, no real discussion.  The participants were chosen specifically for their  lock-step adherence to these manifest assaults on the very nature of the priesthood and the Church.  The synod is just a PR exercise and an attempt to give this violent assault on the Church a patina of respectability.  As one of its leading lights declared, this synod is also meant to approve female deaconesses and pave the way for false female priests.  Again, no discussion or debate.  This entire synod is a production of the German episcopal conference, which is funding it lock, stock, and barrel, and demanding its doctrinal outcome in advance.

But as this supposed synod has gone along over the past few days, it has become apparent that what this group of revolutionaries and Peronists has in mind is not “merely” the overturning of key disciplines and even certain doctrines/Dogmas, but an out and out apostasy against the Church herself.  Just a few samples from the past 2 or 3 days:

There was the pagan ritual held in the Vatican garden, in which Francis freely and happily took part, terminating with Francis offering the Pater Noster in Latin, of all things.  I’m amazed he knew it.

This was followed by subsequent pagan ceremonies within various Vatican City churches.  I must wonder whether this will not culminate with a pagan ceremony, featuring demons as objects of worship, within Saint Peter’s itself before this nightmare is over.

A handful of priests and prelates have vociferously objected to these heinous assaults against the Faith of Jesus Christ.   One of the most notable was (unfortunately, long-retired) Bishop Rene Henry Gracida of Corpus Christi, who described the pagan ceremonies mentioned above in these words:

The participation by Francis the Merciful in the pagan rites held in the Vatican Garden is further evidence of his lack of concern for the canonical penalties he is incurring by his repeated participation in heretical and even occult religious ceremonies forbidden to all Catholics, especially one who sits (invalidly ?) on the Throne of Peter. But then he does not seem to have let the excommunication incurred by him under the law of Universi Dominici Gregis bother him and so the penalties incurred by him with increasing regularity these days become easier to dismiss. A day of reckoning will come for him as it will for each of us.

Blessings,

+The Most Reverend Rene Henry Gracida

Scene in a Roman church near the Vatican this week

As this synod goes on, it tends further and further from the promotion of specific errors/heresies and more and more towards outright apostasy.  Thus, it came as little surprise today that Francis was quoted by his long-time friend and extremist communist journalist Eugenio Scalfari as holding to the Arian heresy – Francis declared that Jesus Christ was just a man, and not Divine, a heresy settled in the earliest days of the Church:

“Those who, as it has happened many times with me, have had the luck of meeting him and speaking to him with the greatest cultural intimacy, know that pope Francis conceives Christ as Jesus of Nazareth, man, not God incarnate. Once incarnate, Jesus stops being a God and becomes a man until his death on the cross………..

“When I had the chance of discussing these sentences, Pope Francis told me: ‘They are the proven proof that Jesus of Nazareth, once having become a man, was, though a man of exceptional virtues, not at all a God.'”

Now, in the past, many have risen to defend Francis from the reporting Scalfari has made of his numerous interviews with Francis.  They have argued that Scalfari routinely misquotes Francis, or even makes up material out of whole cloth.

But as Rorate Caeli notes, why would Francis repeatedly return to a source that has ostensibly misquoted him over and over again? Why would the Vatican publish the contents of several of these interviews in official Vatican organs?  At the very least, it would appear that Francis is extremely imprudent, to the point of negligence, in using Scalfari to communicate any message of any kind.  Coupling these quotes with yet another non-denial denial from the Vatican PR team, and given the other radicalism and rejection of the Faith occurring during this Synod (most all of these Scalfari interviews have been timed to coincide with synods or other major events), many are now concluding this represents something approximating Francis’ real belief.  And in that case, we could have the first pope not merely to hold to some error on a fine point of theology, but to hold such massive errors, and so many, that they rise to the level of apostasy.  Even if Scalfari made up this statement out of whole cloth, where on earth is the vociferous denial from the Vatican?

It is all of a piece with this synod and this pontificate.  I find it incredibly difficult to believe, at this point, that all these scandals, and all these massive shifts in doctrine and practice are not pointing towards a systematic attack on the Church has shee has been construed lo these past 2000 years.

As Pope Pius X of blessed memory stated, modernism is the synthesis of all heresies.  Once a man falls into the heresy of modernism, there is no limit to the depths to which he will sink, or the errors he will hold.

In truth, though, the Church since Vatican II has been heading in this modernist/leftist/materialist/pagan direction almost uninterruptedly. There has been Assisi I, II, and III, hosted and happily promoted by both of Francis’ predecessors, the “stalwart defenders of the Faith” John Paul II and Benedict XVI.  Certainly, neither predecessor so attacked and poisoned the faith with such determination and apparent glee as Francis, but both did not only permit, but promoted numerous offenses against the pre-conciliar, perennial belief and practice of the Church, beliefs and practices generally settled for well over 1000  years prior to Vatican II and essential to the Church’s understanding of herself.

I used to think the modernists were after the protestantization of the Church, and perhaps the first generation around Vatican II was, but this current generation in power, consisting mostly of men formed in and around the time the revolution was most visibly active in the Church, appears to be after nothing short of the full-on replacement of Christ’s Holy Church with a demonic simulacra.  These men are not wreaking this devastation out of concern for souls. This is not some misguided pastoralism.  That’s the furthest thing from their minds.  They are doing it to try to force the Church to correspond to their own modernist, leftist, pagan, and wholly immoral beliefs and conduct.

They are, in many ways, the ecclesiastical equivalent of the US deep state, and seek the same broad ends – exaltation of their ideology and great wealth and power for themselves, and spiritual and material destitution for just about everyone else – especially those who reject their errors and their assumptions of authority.

And, my good readers, this is just getting started.  This is the beginning of the abomination of desolation becoming ascendant in Holy Mother Church.  As Our Lady said, we will have much to suffer.  Be strong, keep to the Faith, pray without ceasing, and implore God to have mercy on us and on His Church.  Pray especially the Rosary, and adhere to the Faith of our Fathers.  Buy all the good and holy books you can, especially those published by reliable sources and most especially those published prior to 1900 in the US and 1800 in Europe.  Find the best parish/priests you can and nail your foot to the floor if you must. Trust in God, but know that this, barring some unprecedented miracle, is the Passion of the Church, and it will be prolonged.

I pray I may be a fool shouting inanities to himself, and that I have totally misread the situation, but I believe we are better off having our eyes open, than to keep the blinders on and try to pretend that all is fine and normal in the Church, or that the hierarchy, put in place by God to guide souls to Heaven, have not gone disastrously off the rails.

A good summation of our present situation from Dr.’s Taylor Marshall and Tim Gordon, below:

A  photo of a woman suckling a dog – a DOG – in a Roman church.  That’s where these pagans want to go.

One potential good God may draw from this unprecedented crisis – and God almost always draw good even from the greatest evils – is that I increasingly believe Francis and his allies are going to push so far, so fast, that it is going to force a decision point for many souls who would otherwise have tried to go along with happy clappy Novus Ordo church for years to come.  I think if they try to ordain women as priests, there will be an enormous influx out of the Novus Ordo church and into the TLM, especially those parishes operated by explicitly traditional communities like the FSSP and SSPX.  The good would be that many, many more souls may be exposed to the traditional practice of the Faith.  The bad is that there is no way these men are going to leave the traditional communities alone for very long.  They will have to come to them, because the difference between what they are constructing, and the actual Catholic Faith, will be too vast to paper over or ignore.  The TLM communities will also pose an increasing threat to the man-made object these sad (largely) old and corrupt men are trying to sing into being (no matter how bad their song is, or their voices are).  That’s another thing to gird your loins for – the coming attack on the TLM.  But that’s a matter for another day.

So, if you wondered what I thought about Francis and the synod, now you know.  I am not declaring Francis a heretic or even a practical apostate, only that he gives every appearance of being one.  It is up to God to judge, and may He be merciful to me if, despite the mountains of evidence, somehow I err.

How in the heck?!? Scumbag sodomite McCarrick somehow winds up 60 miles from my family farm? November 5, 2018

More than just 60 miles away – I’ve been to St. Fidelis several times.  The church is as beautiful as the Masses offered there by these Capuchins are as bland Novus Ordo as they come.  In fact, the church is just about half a mile south of I-70 in Victoria, KS, about 10 minutes east of the medium sized town of Hays.  So I will have to drive past this son of a gun every time I go to my farm.

The townspeople and people of the Diocese of Salina are none too pleased at this development.  McCarrick will also be within a few dozen yards of the local school.  And no, those facilities are not sequestered at all, they all share the same lot and there is no fencing or any substantive barriers in between – at least there were not as little as 6 months ago.  Typically, local Church officials in Kansas did not bother to inform either the school or local residents before placing this disgraced monster in their midst.

So while this may seem like a banishment to the outer hinterlands and a real sequestration of McCarrick, I wouldn’t be so sure.  If he is allowed to roam, he can be in Denver in 7 hours or Kansas City in 5.  From there, the world.  We’ve certainly learned of the escapades of other priests and prelates who were supposedly “banished” to a life of prayer and penance, and yet they kept le bon temps roulez, no?

Sockcuckers:

A school official in the small town of Victoria, Kansas says Church leaders did not inform them that the disgraced former cardinal, Theodore McCarrick, would be moving in next door to an elementary school.

The Archdiocese of Washington announced Friday that McCarrick, 88, had moved into St. Fidelis Friary in Victoria, with the permission of the local bishop, Gerald L. Vincke of the Diocese of Salina.

The friary is attached to the Basilica of St. Fidelis, which is right next door to Victoria Elementary School and only five blocks from Victoria High School.

“I was never made aware of it until I found out through social media today,” Kent Michel, the elementary school’s principal, told the Kansas City Star on Friday.

The Star says they asked Michel if the school had told parents of McCarrick’s new living arrangements, and he replied, “I’ll be getting with my board. I really don’t have a comment on it right now.”

McCarrick, the former Archbishop of Washington, DC, and a prominent liberal, lost his cardinal’s hat and was told to withdraw from public ministry in July after a credible accusation that he sexually abused a teenager.

Pope Francis named Vincke as bishop of Salina in June. He was consecrated and installed as bishop on August 22.

Vincke told the Star: “I am not aware that the school was notified, but I need to double check with the friary.”

In a letter to the faithful yesterday, Bishop Vincke explained why he welcomed McCarrick into the diocese.

“I realize this decision will be offensive and hurtful to many people,” he said. “Please know that I agreed to this arrangement with the understanding that Archbishop McCarrick is excluded from any public appearances and ministry. Our diocese is not incurring any cost in this arrangement.”

“In saying ‘yes,’ I had to reconcile my own feelings of disappointment, anger and even resentment toward Archbishop McCarrick,” said the bishop.  “I had to turn to Christ for guidance.”

Because Christ was all about total forgiveness for the utterly unrepentant.  Even more, Christ always spoke about how wise it was to expose the most vulnerable of sheep to the most ravening of wolves.

300 Page “Gay Dossier” Starts to Leak; Farrell, Francis Deeply Implicated September 14, 2018

The notorious 300 page dossier of perversion and financial corruption that was delivered to Benedict in December 2012 has apparently started to leak.  An Italian publication has seen the document and is now reporting in some vague tones regarding it.  A few specifics have come out, however, and it seems Kevin Farrell and Francis figure prominently in it.  It seems reports reached the Vatican prior to Farrell being elevated to auxiliary bishop in 2002 (shortly after McCarrick, his sponsor and roommate, was made cardinal over the objections of a number of faithful Catholics) of evidence of moral corruption.

What many have strongly suspected for a long time is being confirmed:

The Vatican is reeling from news that the 300-page dossier containing names of members of the gay lobby — a dossier some believe led to Pope Benedict’s resignation in 2013 — has been leaked to the media.

Il Fatto Quotidiano, an Italian journal read by Vatican officials, is confirming it has seen the 300-page dossier. “The report contains a detailed and disturbing picture of the moral and material corruption of the clergy, with names, surnames and circumstances,” writes Francesca Fagnani.

We are … able to view a document on papal letterhead included in the investigation, and here we publish an excerpt: It is a list of prelates and laymen who belong to the so-called gay lobby, which through blackmail and secrets could affect, or have conditioned, positions and careers (theirs, like those of others).

We will not reveal the names shown in the list, but we can confirm that among the names there are people removed by the Pope, others moved from office, others who still hold important positions in strategic organs for the Vatican, such as Propaganda Fide and even the Secretariat of State.

Among those implicated in the dossier is none other than Cdl. Kevin Farrell, prefect of the Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life, who has repeatedly claimed he knew nothing of former housemate Abp. Theodore McCarrick’s homosexual predation, although they lived together on the same floor of the same house for six years in Washington, D.C.

“Farrell was appointed auxiliary bishop of Washington precisely because it was McCarrick who wanted him as a deputy,” Fagnani reports in a September 4 article focusing on a “Farrell dossier.” “The two were part of the ‘magic circle’ of Pope Francis.”

[A case] on the auxiliary bishop of Washington, Kevin Joseph Farrell, is said to have been filed at the Congregation for the Doctrine for the Faith in the Vatican, at the Dicastery that is responsible for investigating sexual and other crimes against good morals, which, if not rebutted, would fall squarely on the Pope like a boulder. Farrell [was] appointed directly by Bergoglio to head the Dicastery of the Family.

In response to Il Fatto Quotidiano‘s queries with regard to the existence of a file on Farrell, the Vatican is refusing to confirm or deny.

“There will be no communication,” was the response from the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. “The Vatican therefore does not deny Il Fatto Quotidiano, but chooses the strategy of silence as for McCarrick,” Fagani writes.

Pope Benedict’s sudden resignation in 2013 is allegedly linked to the 300-page dossier; some media reported that Benedict chose to resign the same day he received the dossier, the result of findings of an investigation commissioned by the Holy Father into clerical corruption and malfeasance…….

……”If the public were aware of the content of the final report it would be a disaster for the image of the Church, already devastated in the whole world by sexual scandals,” she added. [The acts are horribly scandalous, yes.  Thousands of unworthy men have invaded the priesthood like a virus and made the Church incredibly sick as a result.  But the real source of scandal is the culture of corruption, self-interest, and cover-up that the laity are absolutely sick of.  That must end, and if that means the laity have to be shocked to find out that supposedly “good conservative” priests and prelates are active sodomites or practical thieves, so be it.  Far better to have an honest and morally upright clergy 1/10th the size of the present clergy than the den of thieves and sodomites currently occupying these sacred roles.]

The hope after Benedict’s resignation was that a younger, stronger pope would be elected to help clean up the Church; thus Francis was chosen with the understanding he’d be a man of reform. But under his papacy, some senior clergy believe conditions have worsened, not improved.

The travesty of the 2013 abdication makes itself more and more apparent with each passing year.  That this dossier played a significant part in Benedict’s decision to abdicate is very clear.  His thinking apparently was that a younger, stronger man was needed to fight this scourge and reform Holy Mother Church.  So, in the end, he did flee for fear of the wolves.  Of course, Benedict had apparently always kept the idea of abdication in his back pocket from day one.  In this, he always remained the revolutionary at heart, the loyal disciple of Karl Rahner, who, even though he recoiled at the repercussions his (and his master’s) Vatican II ideas wrought, still never quite became a reliable beacon of orthodoxy.  He very much to blame in all this chaos.

Sign Petition to Remove Farrell’s Name from UD, Seminary August 31, 2018

There are two petitions circling that call to have, ahem, Cardinal Farrell’s name removed from both the Holy Trinity Seminary student center and the Cardinal Farrell Center on the UD campus (which is confusing, since the seminary and UD are practically co-located).  This is the one for removing Farrell’s name from UD.

And this is the one for removing his name from Holy Trinity Seminary.

Why should his name be removed? Well, for starters, how about his very close proximity to two of the most hideous abuse scandals in the history of the Church?

According to Cardinal Farrell, he was in the middle of two massive scandals, but somehow suspected nothing. By his own testimony, he is either a lying prelate or a clueless one. If a liar, Kevin Farrell is complicit in the sexual abuse of minors and the violation of ordination vows. These evils were rampant at Holy Trinity Seminary just a few decades ago; why should the seminary honor those who enable them today?

Because he lacks any basic qualification to merit the honor of a seminary building, and especially in light of his lack of character as shown by these scandals, we call on the administration of Holy Trinity Seminary to refrain from naming the future activity center after him. We propose naming the building after one more worthy, such as a saint who stands as a model for priests, or a virtuous person who has done good for the seminary. Until a new name is chosen, we refuse to honor Kevin Farrell and shall not contribute any funds towards the construction of this building.

Here’s another reason – then Bishop Farrell, while here in Dallas, was essentially never, ever, known to pray.  Think about that.

If true, they need to RICO the entire body of the USCCB:

They did it before with Cardinal Law.  That sodomite-protector never saw justice.  If the bishops try to bury even this much broader scandal, I think the federal and state criminal (not civil) floodgates will open, and they won’t close for 30 years.  It will brutalize the Church, drive even many of the few remaining souls away, but in the end it may be the way the Church gets purified.  We shall see.

I don’t think the bishops, and especially the Vatican, are reading the situation right at all in the US.  This is not 2002, nor 2005/6.  There is a whole different feeling, and it is one of cold rage.  This kind of thing doesn’t go away after a few turns of the news spin cycle.
