Just a couple of quick examples of how this is true, both from Life Site News.  Why was Cardinal Muller fired as head of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith?  Because he actually tried to implement the Church’s canon law and procedures governing priests addicted to sodomy and abusing their favorite target, young barely pubescent boys (“twinks”).  That caused many of Francis’ closest friends and supporters in the Curia and global episcopal hierarchy to demand his ouster, and Francis was only too happy to oblige.

Secondly, Francis gave a very nice (and very much desired) Vatican apartment to a priest already known to be lost in the sins of sodomy and drug addiction, among others (a very, very prevalent phenomenon among those men who give themselves over to the sins of Sodom), even though Francis had been warned that this man was wholly unsuited for being a priest, let alone such a perk.  That man, Msgr Luigi Capozzi, was subsequently caught hosting a drug fueled sodomite orgy in that very same apartment – within the Vatican!  Absolutely nothing is sacred to men such as these.  And yet it is upon their support that Francis depends – and indeed, he seems quite happy to do as many favors for his friends as possible.

This priest was a creature of the unrepentant sodomite Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmerio, who has a high ranking role at the Vatican and has spoken glowingly about the “benefits” of men sodomizing other men.  In fact, Capozzi was the Cardinal’s secretary.  Of course, this kind of behavior is almost universally learned.  I don’t think we need to guess from whom Msgr. Capozzi learned this kind of behavior.

Of course, those who have been following this pontificate have known all along that Francis his support primarily from among the lavender mafia in the Church, and that he both buried the detailed report on sodomotical activities of Italian clergy delivered to Pope Benedict in late 2012 (shortly before his resignation), and immediately rehabilitated and elevated to high positions several men long known to be addicted to these perverse acts, and the accompanying crimes that so often go hand in hand with the sodomy (as in, diabolical narcissism).  Of course, the story of Francis elevating the corrupt Msgr. Battista Ricca shortly after he became Pope is also very well known.  The Vatican Bank has been accused for years of being a source of money-laundering on a vast scale, and the ongoing inability to reform this slush fund for sodomites and their hangers on probably played a substantial role in Benedict’s tragic abdication.  It is also no accident that Francis made his infamous “who am I to judge?” comment, after being directly questioned about Ricca.  Nice way to get the media to forget an abusive and larcenous priest, by declaring yourself to be on their side in the great leftist struggle to destroy Christianity, and especially Christian morality.

Yes, many have known for quite some time just what Francis is, and who he is beholden to.  I think the best we can hope for is that these ongoing revelations – and their escape out of the faithful Catholic ghetto and into the broader world – will kneecap the rest of Francis’ efforts to destroy the Church utterly undo the moral edifice of the Faith.  He won’t resign.  Unless the faithful can bring unprecedented pressure to bear, and even then, it’s very much a long shot.  But if the monetary well dries up, these men who have entered the priesthood for their own prurient reasons will decamp for easier pickings in short order.

……..and Francis appears to be expecting the news media to make this story go away by their twin methods of character assassination of the source and ignoring the most key bit of revelation from Archbishop Vigano’s apparent affidavit (we don’t know exactly what it is, but it reads like a deposition given in writing to a grand jury)- that a cabal of self-interested, utterly immoral sodomites has inserted itself into the clergy and episcopate and run absolutely rampant raping boys, stealing from the faithful, and promoting heresy in order to try to redefine morality and Church belief in order to make their sins acceptable.  And Francis is their man, their creation, and their protector and defender, as he is utterly dependent on their support.  I guess we now know what happened to that 800 page dossier on the perversions of the priests of the Diocese of Rome that Pope Benedict literally hand-delivered to Francis, along with all the other evidence against the sodomite cabal.  It has all be destroyed and ignored.

There is now concrete testimony of what many already knew, which is that McCarrick, among others, was a ringleader in this criminal cabal, which really amounts to a corrupt criminal conspiracy under the terms of the RICO statute in US law.  Before I go further, I want to say a few things about McCarrick and his influence.  There have been people who have steadfastly defended former Dallas Bishop, now Cardinal, Kevin Farrell, because he supposedly did a wonderful thing in “allowing” the faithful of this Diocese to have a TLM parish.  What he did was nothing more than his bare duty in justice.  But what do we know about not only Farrell, but his replacement Edward Burns?  They are both very tightly associated with the McCarrick ring, Farrell being McCarrick’s #1 protege and highest flying disciple, Burns being a product of the many corrupt dioceses in Pennsylvania whose nefarious acts were detailed in a recent 1300 page grand jury report.  Indeed, who was the primary consecrator of Bishop Farrell at his consecration, but Cardinal McCarrick?  Isn’t it interesting, also, that Farrell more or less hand-picked Burns as his replacement, and Burns was consecrated by Bishops Zubik, Schwietz, and none other than Cardinal Wuerl (thanks to reader MFG for this last bit of info).

Speaking of our own dear local bishop, he put out this letter below to be read in all parishes on Sunday, August 26th, in response to the accusations of abuse and evidence of grand larceny against another Dallas Diocese priest, the former pastor of St. Cecilia’s in Dallas.  Released on August 25th, my birthday, it was, to me, quite inadequate even before Vigano’s testimony broke out late that Saturday night, and now appears very much less than what is needed:

Look, I like the idea of rosaries, but note they are requested, not mandated.  And a “ceremony of sorrow?”  How about one of outrage and extreme umbrage?  How about some public atonement for the sins so rampant in the clergy and episcopal hierarchy?  How about imposition of penance upon those involved in these endless sinful acts?  How about some personal responsibility on the part of the bishop, and especially his predecessor?

Note that the only real concrete change is one that primarily applies to the laity – a further expansion of the already disproven “safe environment” program.  The disgraced Father Paredes took the safe environment program.  Look how much good it did to stop him from abusing boys. Note that the “safe environment” program was imposed as a lawyerly escape from responsibility on the part of those most guilty of the priest boy rape pandemic – the bishops who knew and aided and abetted priests in their rape – in essence, transferring that responsibility onto innocent laity and, to a lesser extent, clergy, and establishing that there is a “process” for the sake of limiting liability when the inevitable future cases of abuse break out.

There is a sad note to this Father Paredes saga.  A friend knew him in the Dallas seminary, and said he was very pious at that time.  But anyone can fall into sin, and the Novus Ordo environment makes that even more likely.  Almost inevitable, in a sense.

The idea that any of these men, these bishops, were ignorant of McCarrick’s activities is laughableEVERYBODY in the hierarchy, the leadership, knew.  Most well-read laity knew.  The vast majority of priests knew.  Farrell and Wuerl playing dumb, pretending not to know, is just transparently pathetic.  Let it sink in, that’s how dumb they think you are, that you would fall for such flimsy falsehoods.  Make no mistake, they are part of this lavendar mafia, along with Tobin and Cupich and McElroy and many others.  As is Bishop Seitz of El Paso.  Guess who helped consecrate him as bishop of El Paso?  You got it, Cardinal McCarrick.  At the very least, every single bishop consecrated with McCarrick’s involvement is now severely tainted, irreparably so to my mind.

But overall, I am very heartened at Vigano’s testimony.  Yes, it causes further scandal and further weakens the Church’s already horribly tarnished reputation in the world’s eyes, but when you have an ongoing conspiracy based on shared secrets and codes of silence, the only way to break these up is to start publicly naming names.  It’s not enough for me or Michael Voris or even the New York Times to do it, this naming and shaming must come from within the Church.  For decades, some well-intentioned men who were quite aware of the rot and moral sickness that had infested and multiplied in the clergy/episcopate refused to name names out of an erroneous belief that the problem was not that big, that it was up to Rome to deal with it, or that the potential scandal was worse than the ongoing destruction of the clergy.  They were wrong on all counts, so they did not act.  Or, they were bullied and intimidated into silence.

Finally, however, a prelate, one with impeccable connections and in the perfect position to know, has broken the false vow of silence this RICO-deserving cadre of weak, sick, pathetic, immoral men has managed to maintain going back decades.  I believe – I hope, but I think there is ample reason to hope – that +Vigano’s revelations have now permanently weakened Francis’ papacy to the extent that all the further atrocities against faith, moral, and canon law he intended to perpetrate will now either be prevented, or have such a huge taint of corruption upon them as to render any novelties introduced (like married clergy, or female cardinals, at the next sin-nod) as illegitimate.  I do think that will be Francis’ next ploy, that he will unleash some silly novelty beloved of the Left in order try to get the media back on his side, like women’s fauxrdination or something.  How the world, the Church, and the hierarchy react, will be key.

It is amazing to see how God works.  Eventually, the constant crimes and the culture of bottomless (heh) corruption these sodomites have created and maintained would be undone by their own sins.  That is how God tends to work, to allow our own sins to be the vehicle of our destruction, whether as individuals, institutions, or self-interested cabals of wholly unworthy men (I’m looking directly at you, James Martin, SJ – Sodomite Jesuit).  It is now known that virtually all of Francis’ most intimate, most vital supporters, and irretrievably tainted by sexual, financial, and/or other corruption.  A huge number of cardinals, like Parolin and Rodriguez Maradaiga, should, by any right, be totally out of the running for the papacy.  But in a Church this corrupt, who knows?  It may take many further revelations of the +Vigano’ type in order for the sodomite cabal, and those they control, to be broken up.  But it’s a huge step in the right direction.  Let the sun shine in.

And, of course, Francis should resign.  He should never have been elected in the first place.  He has proven himself the most unworthy man to occupy the papacy in the last 400 years, quite possibly more like the last 1000, back to the horrid days when petty “nobles” of Italy made their insane 4th sons Bishop of Rome.  No pope has dared to attack the Doctrine of the Faith with this degree of deliberate intent and willful malice in history, and none have formally embraced error to the extent he has since at least AD 1000 (those that did so in the first millenium generally did so out of ignorance, due to extreme threat of life and limb, or intellectual weakness – and none of those did so on anything like the determined, comprehensive basis Francis has).  Of course he should resign, though I loathe to give that horrible concept (papal resignation) further impetus.

Some more positives – the Bishop of Tyler, Joseph Strickland, who is not traditional, per se’, but who is a good man, a well-intentioned man, who does as well as he can by his present lights (I wish he would become very close to Bishop Gracida and learn all he can from that good man!) – very quickly informed his diocese that he found Vigano’s testimony credible and issued a demand for a formal and public investigation into the crimes and coverups we all know to be so rampant.  I think Bishop Strickland might have gone even further, to draw the logical conclusions from the testimony of +Vigano regarding Francis and his involvement in this coverup of ongoing sexual abuse of children and others, but he did far better than the Archdiocese of Newark, which basically attacked Vigano as a liar and has been blocking people on Twitter asking uncomfortable questions of the deeply implicated, <choke> <laugh> <snort> Cardinal Tobin.  Bishops Olmstead of Phoenix and Konderla of Tulsa have also released statements seeming to endorse Archbishop Vigano’s testimony, and calling for further investigation.  I think the investigation angle is misplaced, after all, who will call and dominate such an investigation, but it’s very targets?  And, I think we already have more evidence than we need to be rid of creatures such as Rodriguez-Maradaiga, Parolin, Daneels, McCarrick, Tobin, Cupich, and many more.

You guys are probably already aware of Bishop Gracida’s public charge that Francis is a formal heretic and was not validly elected.  Not sure what you make of that, but I cannot say I find much to disagree with in Bishop Gracida’s assessment.  Someday, perhaps in Heaven, the truth shall be known about the disastrous abdication of 2013 and subsequent robber conclave that elected Francis the most Humble (TM).

I must also agree with Bishop Gracida that Cardinal Burke’s response to the explosive revelations of Vigano has been deeply disappointing.  He has said and done very little since the dubia was ignored.  This was a perfect opportunity to tie Francis’ promotion of error and, yes, attempts at heresy in redefining the Catechism on the death penalty and the disastrous Amoris Laetitia, with the rampant immorality in the Church. The two are inextricably linked, heresy is almost always driven by grave attachment to sin, and any mass movement of heresy in the Church’s highest offices, such as occurred over the past 60 years or so, must be driven by a mass attachment to the gravest, the most offensive and repellent of sins.

Rorate, in their most recent post, sums up my view regarding Francis quite succinctly, even beautifully considering the disgusting subject matter:

Francis has, with his authoritarian evil, heightened the tensions within the Church to levels not reached since the Protestant Revolt or the French Revolution.
But this time the revolutionary malice comes from within the Church, from a theologically stunted and morally bankrupt, evil-pursuing tyrant.
Francis must go.
An unbearable stench fills the edifice of the Catholic Church. It emanates from the Throne of Peter, where a corpse decays before the whole universe. The powers of the world still parade before the cadaver, offering it secular homages, but the Catholic faithful recoil in horror before the nauseating pagan spectacle.
Pope Francis, Jorge Mario Bergoglio, is dead. He is not actually deceased, but his moral presence is gone. His moral corpse is the revolting cadaver sitting upon the Cathedra of the Prince of the Apostles. And his only real supporters — the liberals, the heretics, the apostates — are already scheming to figure out how to replace him when the inevitable occurs.
He has deceived, he has persecuted the truly faithful, he has confused the little ones in their faith, he has mocked Tradition whenever he could. Above all, he has lied, and he has been shown to lie, and he has been presented as a consummate liar in the protection of a racket of perverted and abusive priests who are his closest aides.
All that is left for him is to remove the corrupt moral body weighing on Holy Mother Church and go away. Abdication is the only possible solution to five years of growing disgrace and purposeful mismanagement.
The horror we identified on the very first day has come to full fruition, as a pustulous infructescence of corruption: Sodom in Rome.

I really hope Vigano’s testimony was given in concert with a federal grand jury.  There was some speculation on Twitter that may have been the case, but that I think it is just that, speculation.  To think what a RICO suit could do against this crowd of cowards is rather hilarious in a sardonic kind of way.  Talk of rats fleeing a sinking ship.  They would abandon the Church so fast there would be a crisis for lack of bishops and clergy.  And so be it, better a Church with a few faithful priests and bishops than one with a great mass of putrid, stinking heretics and perverts.

So what do you guys think?  Is this the beginning of the end of the pontificate of Francis, or will he worm his way out of this crisis and carry on as before?  Do you think the media will decide he’s on their side, one of their own in the great leftist machine, and try to bury this matter?  So far, it seems to be getting pretty wide coverage, so I don’t know how this will play out.  I suspect at least some US cardinals will fall as a result of this – Wuerl, who is already past retirement age, is almost a shoe-in. But Francis may be some bloody-minded stubborn and wedded to his progressive friends, perhaps he will give no response at all but his usual upturned middle phalange?

By the way, I mentioned how former pastor Fr. Paredes of St. Ceclia’s in Dallas wreckovated his parish after a fire.  Here are the before and after shots I failed to include in the previous post on the matter.

Before:

After:

The before wasn’t that great, but the after is just so emblamatic of the barren, cold, modernist, spiritually bereft Church since the 1950s.

Dallas, where the clergy sex abuse crisis got its start, proves Francis wrong yet again August 22, 2018

Francis, Bishop of Rome, declared a week or so ago that the Church has broadly overcome the clergy sex abuse problem, that there have been few reports of new abuse cases since roughly 2005.  Yeah, ask the people of Belgium, Nigeria, Chile, and other places about the truth of that statement, just another in a constant series of delusional pronouncements from the ostensible Supreme Pontiff.

But almost as a perfect rejoinder to that most recent incredible declaration, the Diocese of Dallas – where the first broad public knowledge of priest boy-rape scandals broke through in 1990/91 with the horrific Rudy Kos imbroglio – now comes stormin’ out with a report that the pastor of St. Cecilia’s parish has been reliably accused of several minors of molestation and/or rape, stole $60,000 from the parish, and has subsequently fled the country.  As an aside, St. Cecilia’s used to be one of the few somewhat beautiful parishes remaining in the diocese, before an unlikely fire and subsequent wreckovation put it on a par with all the rest (a very low par, indeed).  Some before and after pics are at the end of the post.

The Rev. Edmundo Paredes, longtime pastor at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Oak Cliff, is under investigation for allegedly molesting three teenage boys in the parish more than a decade ago and stealing from the parish, churchgoers learned over the weekend.

Paredes has fled and his whereabouts are unknown, though church officials think he may be in his native country of the Philippines, Bishop Edward Burns said at the conclusion of the 7:30 a.m. Mass Sunday at St. Cecilia.

The news regarding Paredes, who was pastor of St. Cecilia for 27 years, is only the latest revelation in the Catholic Church’s ongoing priest pedophilia scandal. Independent investigations have revealed that members of the church hierarchy both turned a blind eye and actively engaged in covering up the actions of pedophiles in the priesthood……

………Paredes, a graduate of Holy Trinity Seminary in Irving, is accused of molesting the boys during his service at St. Cecilia. [If he was at St. Cecilia for 27 years, that means he was probably ordained in the early 80s and went through Holy Trinity at its absolute nadir of inculcation of heresy and rampant sodomizing during the mid-to-late 70s.]

In May 2017, Paredes came under investigation by the church for stealing from his parish. Church officials estimate he stole $60,000 to $80,000 in cash. He admitted to the financial misconduct and was suspended from the ministry and removed from St. Cecilia in June 2017, Burns said. [And yet we heard nothing for over a year] The parish of about 3,600 parishioners serves a largely Latino population and does not have the financial resources of larger parishes in northern Dallas.

After his suspension for financial irregularities, Paredes disappeared and may have left for the Philippines, though church officials do not know with certainty he is there. [I’d bet dollars to donuts they know exactly where he is, it’s just easier to pretend he’s invisible]

A spokeswoman for the Catholic Diocese of Dallas said that at the time of his suspension, church officials had no awareness of the allegations of sexual crimes.

In February, during the course of the financial investigation, church officials received allegations of criminal sexual acts by Paredes, specifically that he had molested three boys in their midteens more than a decade but less than 20 years ago. [And perhaps there were more since then.  For instance, what was the $60-80,000 for?  Hush money, perhaps?]

………The information was not disclosed earlier because Burns “did not want to hinder [the police] investigation or compromise the anonymity of victims,” a church spokeswoman said……..[Oh BS.  They were probably faced with the story coming out regardless, probably from outraged family or others who knew, and wanted to maintain spin control by getting it out, first. And  yet again, the Dallas Morning News fails to press the pertinent bishops with tough questions.]

……..Burns, who served with two of the 300 priests named in the document released by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, called the revelations sickening. Although he served early in his career with the two named priests and knew a number of others, Burns said he was unaware of their actions or allegations against them.

“Knowing that this occurred at the hands of men that you knew and even worked side by side with adds to a dimension of disbelief,” he said.

Oh double baloney BS.  You knew.  If you did not know about those two men, specifically, you probably had many reasons to suspect, and certainly knew and know that there are many, many active sodomizers in the clergy and the episcopate, men who are inclined to, and statistically much, much more likely, to abuse young boys than the broader population or priests generally.

But heck, at this point, it would not surprise me at all to find that the majority, even the large majority, of both priests and bishops in the Novus Ordo world actively participate in this lifestyle that cries out to Heaven for vengeance.  That is how you build a wall of impenetrable silence, insure that most are compromised and cow the uncompromised, the few faithful priests, with numbers and authority.

And this is all, of course, is related to the original sin of doctrinal error.  The two feed one another – manifest sin drives rejection of Church Doctrine across the board and leads to formal heresy on a vast number of subjects, while the fall into error actually encourages more commission of sin.  It is all of a piece, cut from the same cloth. The sodomite infestation of the clergy, probably invented by original communist agents planted in the clergy a la AA-1025, is at the very root of the crisis in the Church, just as the worldly corruption of a married, untrained, immoral priesthood was at the root of the crisis in the Church during the very dark 9th and 10th centuries (and having read about that recently, the Church has gone through all this before, possibly, quite possibly, even worse – we just are confronted with it as a daily reality far more today due to instant mass communications).

Nevertheless, it is disheartening and disgusting.  And as the next post will make clear, it’s going to get worse before it gets better.

Actually, Chelsea Clinton, Abortion Has Cost the United States At Least a Trillion Dollars in the Last 45 Years August 15, 2018

Chelsea Clinton, demonstrating all the charm, logic, and morality of her corrupt mother and hideous father, emoted the other day an obvious scripted talking point claiming that abortion had given women freedom to enter the workforce, and that addition of female workers, freed from the tyranny of motherhood and at truly meaningful and happy life, had added some $3.5 trillion to the economy:

At the event promoting opposition to President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, the former First Daughter of President Bill Clinton credited legalized abortion for helping add trillions of dollars to the U.S economy because women who had abortions were more inclined to enter the labor force:

“Whether you fundamentally care about reproductive rights and access right, because these are not the same thing, if you care about social justice or economic justice, agency — you have to care about this.

“It is not a disconnected fact — to address this t-shirt of 1973 –that American women entering the labor force from 1973 to 2009 added three and a half trillion dollars to our economy. Right?

“The net, new entrance of women — that is not disconnected from the fact that Roe became the law of the land in January of 1973.”

Thus, this little bit of foolishness was part of a fundraising effort to help the demonrats win in the 2018 midterms.  It reveals once again that abortion has been and remains the most sacred shibboleth of the post-60s American Left, and the most important rallying cry to get their troops out to stuff ballot boxes and flood polling stations this November.  Normally, demonrats don’t turn out very well for mid-terms, but we shall see whether their total mental breakdown since Trump’s election will give them the wherewithal to vote this fall.

Not mentioned, of course, was the great wage depression that has occurred since the economic and cultural powers that be managed to convinced women that the drudgery or work and actually represented freedom and empowerment, and thus unleashed tens of millions of new workers into the economy – which just happened to create probably the primary cause of the overall wage stagnation most people have experienced over the past 40 years.  After all, if you flood the economy with tens of millions of new workers – not to mention illegal aliens willing to work off the books and with no benefits – you’re going to produce a a serious downward pressure on income.  A downward pressure sufficient so that it is now extremely difficult, it not impossible, for many families to survive on the single income of the father as they did for decades.  Clinton’s flawed calculus also fails to take into account the vast sums spent, often at taxpayer expense, to raise and care for children who have no parent at home to care for them.  Then there is the terrible pressure both parents working has put on millions of marriages, helping to exacerbate the crisis of divorce in this nation and around the world.

But above and beyond the above factors – and there are far more – left out of this incredibly simplistic calculation is the massive net LOSS to the economy from the unnatural deaths of some 55 million Americans since Roe v. Wade was implemented.  Even assuming those children only earned, on average, $15,000 annually since 1991 (substantially below the average per capita income since then), that would still mean that $4.5 TRILLION has been lost due to this ongoing policy of legalized mass murder.  In fact the number is probably far higher.  Some have calculated the negative economic impact of abortion at $9 trillion (I think this number is off, but I’m going into that right now).

So even assuming that Clinton’s “positive” numbers are right due to women entering the workforce, if abortion be a substantial cause of that entrance, then it has still caused at least a net deficit of $1 trillion, and again, probably much higher than that.

This leaves out, of course, the probable hundred million-plus Americans never born due to contraception.  Those never-happened births represent an economic loss ranging into the tens of trillions.  If the US had maintained the same degree of total female fertility it had in 1960 – 3.7 live births per woman – the US would not have “needed” mass importation of low-wage, low-skill, culturally incompatible people in their tens of millions, and we would have a much, much larger and more robust economy.

But the Left has sold about 30-70% of the population, depending on how you look at it, on a grand bargain – economic, cultural, and political enslavement in exchange for unlimited sexual license (for now – the Soviet communists, and the Maoists and others, were really big on granting sexual liberation, for a time, in order to destroy the latent Christian culture in their respective countries, but once that goal was achieved, they generally imposed a moral regime more severe than anything seen in formerly Christian countries in centuries, if ever).  It’s very much a have fun now, pay me later kind of deal.  Only the “fun” is oversold, and the psychological, physical, economic, and cultural ramifications are always much worse, and much greater, than anyone could imagine.

Diabolical narcissism, and all that.  And, oh yes, a democratic socialist (for that is what the party is, at this point, by their own proud declarations) lied, or radically twisted and simplified a complex situation down to a narrow and utterly false point to serve their interest in gaining power for themselves and stealing it from others.  Big surprise.  Film at 11.

Strong Sermon Denouncing Contraception from Tyler Bishop Strickland June 27, 2018

I’ve been seeing more and more good catechesis from His Excellency Bishop Strickland.  He’s no hardcore Trad, but his catechesis on many doctrinal subjects, especially those related to the marital act and continence, is about as solid as one will see in the Novus Ordo environment and far better than virtually any active bishop I can think of.  He does endorse NFP without a concomitant warning that it should only be used in grave situations, but other than that this is generally quite solid.  He states that couples who contracept are committing a serious sin and should not receive the Blessed Sacrament.  As Bishop Gracida noted, virtually no other US bishop is willing to call souls to account on the matter of contraception, with Bishop Gracida claiming this the most stirring defense of Catholic Doctrine on the marital act given by any bishop in living memory.  I’m not sure if that is true, but it is certain that virtually no bishop, or priest outside traditional parishes, is willing to touch this subject even slightly.

In addition, Bishop Strickland directed all of his priests to have this sermon read in their parishes on the Feast of St. John the Baptist, just as he preached it in the cathedral.

The sermon in its closing 2 minutes does sadly go off the rails with Bishop Strickland endorsing the conventional USCCB viewpoint regarding unrestrained illegal immigration, lamenting ostensible separation of children from their criminal parents, as if that hasn’t been the case throughout human history.  Of course, in the vast majority of these cases, the very act of immigrating itself constitutes a separation from one parent.  The solution to the immigration problem is not to encourage further law-breaking and suffering at the hands of unscrupulous smugglers who rape fully 80% of the women and female children who try to cross the US border illegally.  The solution is to reform the broken Church and governments of the countries from which these people desire to emigrate.  Unfortunately, in the Church of today, bishops are more or less expected and required to at least throw a bone to the “other side” whenever they take a strong stand upholding the Doctrine of the Faith.  They can’t be seen to be too overtly political, not with all that wonderful tax money on the line.  It’s a shame, but pretty much par for the course for the bureaucratized post-conciliar Church.

Still, overall, it’s a very good and welcome effort.

I would also add that while couples practicing NFP due to dire circumstances may indeed experience a sense of sacrifice in not being able to bring more children into the world, a word could perhaps also be spared for those couples who, in spite of financial hardship and general material poverty, go ahead and embrace God’s gift of more children in spite of the material, spiritual, and other costs.  I feel this should always be promoted as the default position, so to speak, for all married Catholic couples.

I did like Bishop Strickland’s brief exhortation for older people whose children are grown, or who never had children, to assist younger couples with many children as much as possible.  This is something my wife has expressed many times, how in bygone years such used to be quite common, but is today rather rare.  There are some older people, especially ladies, who do make such offers from time to time, and God bless them for it.

And while marriage is sometimes difficult and constitutes a cross to bear, it is also a wonderful experience and blessing and the way God calls most all of us to live.  Far too often in our sick culture, marriage is presented as a drag, as nothing more than a convention or tax break, as a source of frustration and little more than a killjoy.  Often single or divorced life, with attendant incontinence and wantonness, is promoted as the chic, fun, rewarding way to be.  They never show those people in their 70s, alone and forgotten, living with their 17 cats and zero children or grandchildren.  It is in marriage that, as God ordains, true happiness, fulfillment, contentment, and solace can be found.

Nevertheless, great applause for Bishop Strickland for giving this sermon and being willing to touch the supposed third rail of the Church, contraception.  May his example inspire far more bishops and priests to emulate him.

Folks, I won’t be able to blog much anymore.  Even the little I have done has been too much for the powers that be.  I have to be careful what I say, as it is being watched by the people I work for.  So posting will be light and infrequent for the foreseeable future.

However, I saw these video interviews of Joseph Sciambra and felt compelled to share them.  For those who do not know, Joseph Sciambra was deeply involved in the perverse lifestyle of men using other men for sexual gratification for a number of years.  He went so far as to become involved in extreme acts I won’t go into, as well as prostitution and, I believe, appearing in some pornographic films.  But, through a miracle of Grace, he was able to escape his sins and develop a life of virtue and continence.  He has a website here.

The interviewer is a priest, Fr. Peregrino, who features in a number of sermons on Sensus Fidelium, who also posted this excellent interview.

Mr. Sciambra raises a number of excellent points.  One of the key themes is for fathers to love their sons in an appropriate, demonstrative, supportive way.  Hugging your son, letting him know that he always has your love and support, and demonstrating through frequent involvement in numerous activities, not only “manly” ones but even simple things like playing with him or reading to him, are hugely important for helping insure your son does not become one of the few who may fall into this most destructive, most difficult to escape lifestyle.  He rightly notes that not all boys who grow up with absent/distant or any other kind of “problematic” father will fall into this lifestyle, but some will, and that at root the problem of male homosexuality is one rooted in failed father-son relationships (the causes of the female variety are more varied).  Interestingly, however, Mr. Sciambra does not believe anyone is “born gay.”  He also rightly states that the true number of male “homosexuals” is 1-2% of the male population, and that many of these men, including himself, are at varying times and under different circumstances attracted to, and have relationships with, women.  But this we already knew.

Another point I found illuminating was the role the traditional practice of the Faith played in Mr. Sciambra’s conversion.  The Traditional Mass was very important in this, with its structure and its clear communication of numerous aspects of our belief, but the entire traditional practice of the Faith was instrumental in his conversion.  First of all – and I mentioned this interview was both inspiring and heartbreaking – it is in the TLM environment that Mr. Sciambra most found those priests who were willing to call the sins he had spent decades ensconced in just that – sins. He relates that on many occasions he had gone to Confession at Novus Ordo parishes and was told by priests that his inclination towards and commission of sodomy and other gravely immoral acts constituted no sin at all.  He was just “being himself.”  They might gently nudge him towards finding “one partner” to settle down with – apparently ignoring the fact that even “monogamous, committed” relationships between men almost invariably feature constant sex acts with others – but that was the most he would hear.  One must wonder how many of these priests were justifying their own sins and inclinations in this refusal to call sodomy, one of the four sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance, what it is.

It is also in the TLM and in the traditional practice of the Faith that Mr. Sciambra found a philosophy, a moral code, and a set of practices that were rigorous enough to satisfy his craving for masculine affirmation, a sort of set of rubrics for conducting oneself as a moral man.  This need is, when not totally ignored, almost always disparaged as “toxic masculinity” and other epithets in this sick and twisted age, but it is a real and important factor.  This huge craving for a firm moral order and the assertion of responsibility and duties over rights and unfulfilling, hedonistic “pleasure” is a major reason for the phenomenal success of Dr. Jordan Peterson, but he, sadly, only gives part of the truth almost all of us, but especially young men, need to hear these days (and it is also a truth mixed in with a certain measure of error, error that has the potential to derail Peterson’s followers off the road of upright living and back into the endless cul de sac of humanistic self-seeking.

Of course, scores of preceding generations of Catholics completely understood that the traditional, defined, orthodox practice of the Faith was absolutely necessary and vital for the right conduct of life and for the good of society generally, and that even slight deviations therefrom could, and almost certainly would, rapidly and quickly lead to disaster. I would add my personal opinion that the deviations seen in the Faith at, and since, Vatican II are far, far more substantial than many that were rightly and violently decried as heretical in previous generations of the Church.

The interviews do deal with subject matter that is not fit for children or those with particularly delicate consciences.  While Fr. Peregrino does an able job steering a fine line between too much detail and descent into prurient matter, and making the interview so bland and anodyne as to diminish its effect, it still deals at root with a subject matter that may be inappropriate for some adults and certainly younger children.

Joseph Sciambra is an excellent witness to our glorious Faith and gives great testimony to the destructiveness of the barbaric hedonism running rampant in our culture today.  May he continue to cooperate with Grace and do greater work to help souls lost in this intoxicating lifestyle (not least of which stems from the adulation the mass media and many cultural elements bestow on those within it) return to the practice of virtue and unity with the will of our Lord as revealed through Holy Mother Church.

Alfie Evans Must Die to Maintain the Fiction of the NHS in Britain April 26, 2018

The public execution, through denial of medical care, by the government of the United Kingdom of a child who has been offered free medical care, transportation, etc. by a hospital in Italy has received wide coverage.  And rightly so.  This is not the first time we have seen such an atrocity play out in full view of the public. Last year it was Charlie Gard, who was denied “lifesaving treatment that would be given in any US hospital.”  Now it is little Alfie Evans.

The court case is through, the judge (as always seems the case in Britain) sided with the apparatchiks of the state health care rationing scheme, euphemistically called the National Health Service, and the child’s parents are even being barred from assisting the child in breathing or other such minimal provisions.  Little Alfie is to be offered “palliative care” only, which means, he will be kept in a heavily drugged stupor until he dies.

Many pro-life, Catholic, and other conservative sites have offered numerous explanations for why the government and legal system in England seem to find it so easy to kill through neglect children with severe, but quite possibly still treatable, medical problems.  That the vast majority of Britons, and especially their cultural-political elite, are now godless heathens possessed of a reprobate sense is one obvious explanation, as Mundabor notes below (h/t reader TT):

The dramatic events surrounding poor little Alfie Evans give a shocking portrait of what the United Kingdom has become: a Country in which every Christian vestige is rapidly disappearing as a deep vain of Nazism pervades the fabric of its society.

A hospital trying all they can to put an end to the life of a child, and a “justice” system supporting them in their effort: this is XXI Century Britain.

It order for the inhumanity to appear egalitarian, the child is not even allowed to live abroad, where Christian minds would have compassion of his little life. No, little Alfie Evans has to die, to satisfy the Nazi mentality informing our “health” system………

…….This, my dear readers, is a Country allowing himself a big debate and years of controversies about the very occasional, perfectly legal killing of… vermin, but cannot stand the thought of a child whose life they deem unworthy of living (this is a Nazi concept: lebensunwertes Leben, “life unworthy of living”) to be allowed to live.

All this and much other commentary on the deplorable state of morals in Britain today is undoubtedly true.  Not that the US is in any measurable sense superior.

But one point I thought should be made, is that this is also a case of a corrupt, inefficient, wasteful, and ineffective bureaucracy going to any lengths to shield itself from well deserved criticism.  The NHS needs not reform, but abolishing.  Hundreds if not thousands of Britons die every year through sheer neglect, mismanagement, incompetence, and inability to procure necessary care in a system that is hamstrung through its limited taxpayer funding.  Were an Alfie Evans or a Charlie Gard to be treated in another country and make a spectacular recovery, that would be a huge PR hit for the socialist pyramid scheme and greatly undermine public confidence in the state as the primary if not sole means of medical care in a nation.  Even though Britons have been very carefully and deliberately propagandized to believe that no NHS = millions dying in the streets – you know, just like it is in the US, where you can hardly take a step without tripping over all the dead bodies – a few such incidents like that could result in calls for reform, reduced funding, or, the utterly unthinkable to the statists/apparatchiks of the NHS and the politicians dependent upon it for their political support – abolishment.

So, it is much, much easier for all involved – at least in the ruling class – to just allow a little boy to die unnecessarily, rather than deal with the potential fallout from his treatment elsewhere. And this kind of calculus is entirely informed by the godless, neo-pagan secular spirit that pervades the ruling class in Briton and throughout Christendom today, as Mundabor notes above.  In a very real sense, the state, symbolized by the NHS in Britain, has become the replacement god for these poor, lost souls.  And as the next post will show, millions of Americans are undergoing, or have already undergone, a similar transformation into decadent, selfish sexular paganism.

As I said just the other day, the US has been following the same trajectory as the already-post-Christian countries like Canada and the UK, we’ve only been a few decades behind.  Yes there are more traditional Christian elements in this country that are resisting the trend, but they are steadily weakening and losing influence.  I don’t say this to promote dejection, but simply as an accurate assessment of our times.  In spite of the heartening the election of Trump meant to all of us, he hasn’t fundamentally altered the social/cultural trajectory of this country, yet.  We already have millions of our own Alfie Evans, they never even get far enough to be named or be born, but the same underlying solipsistic belief system is at work.

California Assembly Bill Would Ban Bible, Most Books on Christian Morality……. April 24, 2018

…….or anything that has to do with opposition to the “sacred” act of sodomy, one of the sacraments of the sexular pagan religion (along with abortion – the anti-baptism, “gay marriage” – the anti-matrimony, and others).  A new bill under consideration in the California Assembly purports to ban any book or publication that inveighs against the acts of Sodom and Gomorrah and those who choose to define themselves by those same acts.  Thus the Bible could quite easily – and predictably – be found beyond the scope of state-approved literature, since there are of course nearly 20 clear denunciations of sodomy and the lifestyle associated with it in both the Old and New Testaments.

Of course, the radical Left that is pushing this bill claims that the old fuddy-duddy Christofascists are wrong again, postulating slippery slopes where none exist.  But based on how previous bills have been used to ban opposition to sexual license, or punish bakers and florists who refuse to service a same-sex couple’s pretense of a wedding, my money will be on this very broadly worded bill being yet another attempt by the Left to force Christians out of the public square and deep underground.  Which may well be the very best thing that could happen to a Faith that has become lazy and complacent, so if it were not for the damage that would result, one could almost say bring it on:

If liberal lawmakers in California get their way, that west coast state may be one step closer to being unrecognizable as part of the United States. A bill currently pending in the legislature would essentially ban the sale of books that include traditional Christian views on marriage and sexuality.

Shockingly, the proposed law could even be construed to make it illegal to sell Bibles, since they include verses that the far left finds unacceptable.

Assembly Bill 2943 would make it an ‘unlawful business practice’ to engage in ‘a transaction intended to result or that results in the sale or lease of goods or services to any consumer’ that advertise, offer to engage in, or do engage in ‘sexual orientation change efforts with an individual,’” explained National Review.

That’s a lot of legalese to digest, so let’s break it down. What the bill basically says is that anything that can be seen as trying to impact a person’s sexual orientation would be illegal to sell or offer. [Looking even farther down the road, it is not inconceivable to foresee an attempt to define church services as a kind of “transaction” and thus also open to meddling by a segment of the population that never sees any need for limits to the state’s power – when used against their enemies]

This would almost certainly include traditional Christian counseling services and books.

“The bill then defines ‘sexual orientation change efforts’ as ‘any practices that seek to change an individual’s sexual orientation. This includes efforts to change behaviors or gender expressions, or to eliminate or reduce sexual or romantic attractions or feelings toward individuals of the same sex,” continued National Review (emphasis added). [And you can see how this is really about imposing a wholly new, and totally hostile, moral order on the state/country.  The rights of unrepentant sodomites trump those of repentant ones.  Anything that alludes to Christianity can and must be suppressed and persecuted. “Bu- bu-but tax write offs for church donations!  That proves there is no persecution!”  Uh huh.  That will be one of the final steps, once all the other institutional supports for Christianity have been not just removed, but inverted and turned into means of persecution.]

“Efforts to change behaviors” is where the real problem is. After all, almost all counseling and even common psychiatric care are intended to “change behaviors” in various ways.

If you think about it, that’s the entire reason people seek help in the first place: They want to stop drinking or becoming angry or, yes, having troubling thoughts about their sexuality.

It’s also worth pointing out that the bill as written would apply to people who are trying to change their own behavior. This would mean that if a person was struggling with same-sex behavior or sexual identity and they themselves wanted to change, it would be illegal for them to buy any book meant to help them with this……… [Of course.  Because sodomites want to be told that their sin is an unalloyed good, and nothing may be permitted that undermines that belief.]

……….You don’t even have to particularly agree with the Bible verses mentioned here to see the problem. Efforts like the proposed bill represent dangerous slippery slopes that would use the legislature to attack traditional beliefs, and even mainstream views that happen to be at odds with the far-left agenda.

If nothing else, it’s an affront to the free exchange of ideas — yes, even ones that someone might dislike — and a censorship of speech.

“No one doubts that (Christianity’s) teachings on sexual morality are increasingly unpopular,” summarized National Review. “But they remain constitutionally protected, and no state legislature should be permitted to ban a ‘good’ (such as a book) or a ‘service’ (like counseling) that makes these arguments and provides them to willing, consenting consumers.”

It’s amazing that the same liberals who bemoan “government in the bedroom” eagerly jump at the chance to give the same government control over sexual and moral topics the moment it helps their cause.

“No government in the bedroom” was always a convenient lie.  Just like “born that way,” “safe, legal, and rare,” and “federal government involvement in schools won’t lead to politicization.” All these statements have simply been means to an end, a wedge to use against Christians in the public eye as a means to split unthinking people from core cultural/social beliefs that evolved over centuries to produce that great construct known as Christendom, by far the greatest culture the world has ever known. It was all as hypocritical and cynical as hell, but that’s how they’ve managed to subvert the culture almost totally, while their opposition – in a sense rightly – preferred to adhere to their principles and clutched their collective pearls at it all.

Abortion News Roundup – Trump Amends Obamacare WRT Abortion, Crowder Explodes Leftist CPC Propaganda, Abortion a “Christian Calling” April 13, 2018

Some positive developments regarding the mass slaughter of infants in this nation – I guess we have to take our small victories where we can get them, so long as the slaughter continues practically unabated – have developed of late.  For one, the Trump administration has amended certain aspects of Obamacare to make it so that Americans will not have to purchase plans that pay for abortion:

The Trump administration will give people more ways to avoid paying Obamacare’s penalty for not having insurance, including if the person cannot buy an affordable plan that doesn’t cover abortions.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services on Monday expanded the list of hardship exemptions for the individual mandate, which requires everyone to have health insurance. CMS said people who live in a county that has only one Obamacare insurer can receive an exemption from the penalty. It also lets people avoid the fine if the only affordable plans available on the law’s exchanges cover abortion.

The law’s exchanges are on the individual market that is used by people who don’t get insurance through a job or the government.

The mandate was repealed in Republicans’ tax legislation starting in 2019, meaning taxpayers must have insurance or pay a penalty this year.

On another pro-life front, given the amount of attacks, disinformation, and outright lies directed by the Left against them, it seems Crisis Pregnancy Centers continue to be the prime means of directing women/couples away from murdering their allegedly “untimely” children for the sake of ease and convenience.  Steven Crowder below explodes many myths and false attacks staged by hardcore leftist and severely unfunny TV host John Oliver below.  The number one false presupposition behind the anti-CPC attacks – that no organization has the right to be opposed to abortion, that any organization dealing with “women’s health” must promote and provide abortion.  That’s at root behind all this attempt at leering expose:

As to the nature of the other side, the side that sees absolutely no problem murdering perfectly innocent babies for the most pathetic reason of all, filthy lucre, one of Mississippi’s few legal child murderers, working at their sole legal clinic, claims, in response to the state government passing a law that limits abortion to the first 15 weeks of pregnancy (a move that will probably cause most women to have to leave the state to have their children murdered), that it is his “calling” as a Christian not only to murder babies, but to falsely convict the consciences of the women he both exploits and serves that these murders are perfectly moral, perfectly alright, and just fine with God.  Because of course God would create a life just to see it snuffed out a few weeks later, not even having left the womb.  But don’t ever underestimate the extreme efficacy of these arguments in convincing women to have an abortion, and to keep on having them.  Getting women to believe they are doing their kids favors by having them killed and “sending them to Heaven” – as if abortion is a Sacrament capable of undoing Original Sin – is an incredibly powerful trick to keep them on that long, endless night train:

A Mississippi OB-GYB recently stated that he sees it as his Christian “calling” to provide abortions.

Dr. Willie Parker — who practices at the state’s only abortion facility, located in Jackson — wrote an Op-Ed for Glamour magazine attacking Mississippi’s Gestation Age Act.

The legislation, signed by Gov. Phil Bryant last month, bans abortions after 15 weeks (i.e. four months into the pregnancy). The law notes that the unborn baby’s vital organs begin to function at 10 weeks, and by week 12, he or she has taken human form in all relevant aspects.

Parker wrote in his Op-Ed, “As an ob-gyn and a Christian, I see it as my calling to help women in making the decisions that are right for their health, their lives, and their families. I believe it’s my duty to meet their needs without judgment. Not only do restrictive laws make it harder for me to do my job — this radical abortion ban is an assault on women across the South.”

In an interview with AlterNet, Parker explained how he tries to ease women’s guilt about obtaining an abortion. A substantial portion of his practice is made up of African-Americans. [Oh heck.  In Mississippi? In Jackson?  I bet 80+% of the women who get abortions are black]

“Many women of color are deeply religious, and I’m quite comfortable talking about the moral and spiritual center,” he explained. “So, I add that dimension to the care I provide. I call it dignity restoration.” [“Deeply religious,” but still solipsistic enough to murder their own child.  The very essence of Christianity]

Parker continued, “I sense when a woman is dealing with guilt and shame and I’m offer a bridging conversation around faith and the sacred decision of whether to end her pregnancy. Yesterday, for example, one patient was praying and asking for forgiveness, and so I explored that with her.” [And so you gave her that moral cover she desperately sought, to see her over the hump of having her child ripped limb from limb from her womb, despite the fact that her conscience, the very voice of God within her, was screaming at her to stop.  So what you practice isn’t Christianity, but a form of moral anesthesia.]

………The doctor contended the key to being involved in the abortion practice — given widespread public opposition to it, particularly in the South — is to be “more principled than average.” [I’m sure mafiosoes and other career criminals believe they are more principled than average, too.  It’s amazing what the human soul is able to convince itself does, no matter how much evil it commits]

“We’re not superhuman — we are just like you,” he said. “But to do this work my colleagues and I draw from a deep conviction that lets us endure the opposition and frank danger. Most doctors who refuse to perform abortions are consciously refusing, and the people who insist on providing are conscientiously providing the care.”

If you read the comments many note the fact that abortion is a form of genocide being practiced against black Americans with their willing complicity.  But the statistical data shows that in spite the fact that about half of all black babies conceived in this country are aborted, the black percentage of the population in the US has risen slowly but steadily over the past 40 years, from 11% to 14%.  That’s because blacks tend to use abortion, often taxpayer-funded, as birth control, while their use of conventional contraception, whether chemical or other types, tends to be much more erratic.  Whites, however, the rapidly diminishing majority in this nation, use contraception with grim abandon and steely efficiency to the extent that the white native birth rate has collapsed well below the replacement rate.  Thus even though whites tend to, statistically, receive surgical abortion much less frequently, it’s because they don’t need it – they’ve already provided for abortion by other means or through deliberate sterility.

Look for Dr. Willie Parker to be invited to an upcoming Vatican confab hosted by the Pontifical Academy for Life sometime real soon.

Lesbian Couple Apparently Tortures, Murders Adopted Children April 4, 2018

A lesbian couple from the United States (they lived all over, constantly moving as they ran afoul of the generally lax child protective services of one state after another) is being accused of having routinely starved, beaten, and generally neglected their 6 adopted children, and then killed all of them in a murder-suicide by driving their SUV off the Pacific Coast Highway, down a cliff and into the Pacific Ocean.

Certainly this is an extreme case, but given that these women had used their children extensively for self-serving virtue signaling and promotion of leftist causes, all the while they apparently abused them severely, but since adoption of children by perverse couples is such a luxury item foisted on our culture by an extremely well-funded and well-organized (but tiny) minority, shouldn’t even one such instance call for greatly increased scrutiny of this kind of adoption?  Suffice it to say, especially on the female side of the “gay” subculture, that emotional instability and outright violence against partners (and others) is extremely common.  In fact, nearly half of all lesbian relationships involve some form of physical abuse.  These relationships are also pathologically unstable – the average length of pretended marriage between women in Holland, where such relations have been state-sanctioned and endorsed for nearly 20 years, is under 3 years.

The whole “Klan” angle below is just a ludicrous cover, a patently laughable excuse intended to deflect blame for this atrocity away from the unstable women and towards an imaginary villain.  The Ku Klux Klan is virtually non-existent at this point.  And in Minnesota? Please.  As Matt Christiansen notes below, this is beyond unlikely, and delves well into the fantastic.  Such an event would get wall to wall coverage in the leftist media and their supposedly “mainstream” confreres.  The fact that it didn’t strongly argues the event never happened.  Even more, agitators on the Left, and these two women were most definitely that, using their kids as political props with grim regularity, have been known to stage, fake, and otherwise lie about alleged “racist,” “sexist,” or other attacks against them with such incredible frequency that the number of fakes far exceeds the number of real attacks (which just goes to show how completely unhinged so many of them are, declaring the United States an irretrievably racist country, in spite of the fact that they must construct the evidence for this racism on a constant basis).

Now Minnesota is a pretty liberal place, with a large number of leftadoodles.  Nevertheless, the fact that people repeated these women’s outrageous claims of cross burnings and other supposed atrocities as straight up facts is amazing.  If I heard such a claim, I’d be extremely skeptical. But then again, I’m just a poor ignorant Bible-clutching redneck, full of irrational fears and superstitions and clinging to my God and my guns, and not a member of the super-rational, science-loving*, “fact based community” on the Left.  So naturally I must be wrong.  What is really scary, though, is how much people’s pre-conceived political notions played a role in not only believing these women’s outlandish tales, but played into their ability to abuse these children for years.  Leftism always hurts people.

But note the slick attempt to both paint the perpetrators of this atrocity as victims, and give them a moral pass for their years of abuse and mental/moral derangement.  Of course, to the Catholic, that a soul afflicted with grave moral illness would come to suffer mental illness is hardly surprising.  It is, in fact, the entirely predictable result of long immersion in sin.  I can certainly relate to that from my own sordid history.

In spite of the political angle, there is a great sadness and tragedy about this sordid event.  8 lives unnecessarily snuffed out, the children certainly not of their own will.  The selfishness of it is beyond shocking, but these women seem to have drunk deep at the trough of female solipsism.  Nevertheless, all of these poor souls need prayer.  I don’t know what God’s judgment has in store for these women, I shudder to think of that, but the children were innocent victims who had no choice in all this.  May God have mercy on them all.

*- that is, their conception of “science” which always just happens to magically align with their preferred politics.  Like, a baby is just a blob of cells until about age 5, biology has absolutely no influence on someone’s sex, global warming, space aliens are real and visit the US more frequently than Europeans, etc, etc.
