……but it’s a heckuva lot better than a lot of places.  Two recent bits of evidence to that end, Texas has officially removed Planned Murderhood from its list of approved Medicaid “health care” suppliers, and a Texas judge has declared Obama’s plan to allow full-grown, mentally-ill men to legally use little girl’s restrooms unconstitutional:

Texas officially removed Planned Parenthood from the state’s Medicaid program Tuesday, according to a report from the Texas Tribune

A legal notice obtained by the Tribune said the $3 million in Medicaid reimbursements the organization received in 2015 will be canceled in 30 days. Planned Parenthood could request a hearing with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission to delay the cutoff date, but officials told the Tribune they would resolve the matter in court.

“Planned Parenthood continues to serve Medicaid patients and will seek a preliminary injunction in an ongoing lawsuit filed in November 2015, following the state’s original threats to take action against Planned Parenthood’s patients,” Yvonne Gutierrez, executive director of Planned Parenthood Texas Votes, told the Tribune. [Everything is inverted, everything is inside out.  This is not taking action against Banned Parenthood’s patients, but against Planned Parenthood itself.  But PP is deeply politically unpopular, so they erect a virtual shield in the form of whatever patients they’ve had.  Unfortunately, since this will go to the courts, it’s a crap shoot as to how it will come out.  With Trump in, the odds improve somewhat, but are far from a certainty that the courts will rule rightly.  All it takes is one leftist judge and all Texas’ gains in the pro-life area can be undone.]

The state has been looking to completely remove Planned Parenthood from the state’s Medicaid program since October of last year, after a series of undercover videos was released that showed Planned Parenthood officials discussing the use of fetal tissue for research.  [The videos didn’t show Planned Butcherhood “discussing the use of fetal tissue for research,” they showed numerous Planned Barrenhood employees planning the sale of vast volumes of baby parts for profit, in addition to conducting illegal partial-birth abortions in order to save the most profitable bits.]

The anti-abortion group behind the videos claimed Planned Parenthood was improperly collecting fetal tissue from abortions and profiting from tissue donation reimbursements. Planned Parenthood officials have denied these claims and said they haven’t broken any laws.  [Sure, and 99% of those on death row claim they’ve never committed a crime]

Now, regarding the do or die issue of 2016 for the outgoing, diabolical Obama Administration, transgender bathrooms.  Foiled again, Barry Hussein:

A federal judge in Texas issued another crushing blow to President Obama’s transgender agenda Saturday: The judge granted a temporary injunction halting federal health officials’ efforts to enforce rules that would “likely violate” the Religious Freedom Restoration Act.

In a 46-page decision, U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor sided with the state and ruled that the Obama administration’s attempts to tailor health regulations while bolstering trans individuals’ rights would “likely violate” the RFRA by placing “substantial pressure on Plaintiffs to perform and cover transition and abortion procedures.” The rule, which was geared toward preventing discrimination against trans persons, failed to persuade O’Connor as he weighed its implementation against the possibility of violating doctors’ religious beliefs. [Everything, including the ludicrous “transgender bathoom” issue, comes back to abortion, for the Left.  It’s the source and summit of their demonic faith]

……..as O’Connor noted, the rule would have “imposed a substantial burden” on private health care providers’ abilities to honor their religious exercise and expression because the rule contains no suitable exemptions.

“The regulations at issue would force doctors to enforce gender transition procedures even on young children, even when doctors believe the procedure is harmful,” Luke Goodrich, an attorney with the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty representing the case’s plaintiff, told the Houston Chronicle……

…..O’Connor’s Saturday decision marked the second time he has actively thwarted the Obama administration’s agenda in 2016. Back in October, the judge blocked the federal government’s move requiring public schools to allow trans persons to use whichever restroom suited their gender identities. [Good for Reed O’Connor.  One of the few good things that came out of the Bush ’43 administration]

The article did not even touch on an equally egregious aspect of Obama’s ploy, in addition to his attempt to impose immorality through governmental force, no matter how much it harms beliefs deeply held by millions of Americans, and that is his attempt to legislate by executive fiat. Obama knows transgender bathrooms are deeply unpopular across much of the country and there is absolutely zero chance that Congress, as presently constituted, would pass a law imposing such.  Knowing that he is constitutionally thwarted, Obama, as he has often done, has tried an end-run through executive fiat.  Sadly, due to the weakness of Republican leadership in Congress (and, more than likely, their private agreement with him on many of these issues), Obama has been permitted to function in this rule by decree manner far too often, and gotten away with it.

I pray Trump examines ALL the areas in which Obama has attempted to force his agenda through like a tin pot dictator, and repeals them all, including these cultural/social issues that are really even more important that economic/political ones.   If he did that alone in his first 30 days his administration would be off to a strong start.
