Will You Go to Hell For Failure to Ecuminate? October 5, 2016

Ecuminate (eh-cuum-in-ate): the act of being ecumenical.

So can you be damned to hell for all eternity for failing to be sufficiently ecumenical, or at least suffer additionally in Purgatory for the same “crime?”

Franky George Bergoglio thinks so:

“Be open, be a friend. ‘But I must do everything to convert them!’ There’s a great sin against ecumenism: proselytism, they’re “our brothers and sisters.”

And remember, “proselytism is solemn nonsense.”  I’ll remember to tell that to Saints Francis Xavier, Martin de Porres, Boniface, Augustine, Isaac Jogues, Jean de Brebeuf, et. al, if I am blessed enough to meet them in Heaven.

Do I even need to unpack this?  We see in this statement how in the mind of a progressive, a highly disordered and abused “movement” within the Church magically transmogrifies into a pseudo-doctrine over a few decades, or, at least, when it suits the needs of the progressive to pretend it so.  Ecumenism is the solemn nonsense to me.  It’s been a movement rife with indifferentism and bearing destructive influences since its inception and has primarily served to wound the Church, not bring Catholics and X closer together.

Surely some preparatory rhetoric there for the upcoming 500th anniversary of Luther circle jerks “celebrations.”

Another plane flight, another disastrous statement or series thereof.  The same Bishop of Rome who decried “gender ideology” – whatever that meant to him then, in that context, because it constantly shifts – had just days before called a woman a “man” and “married” even though that poor lost individual had had themselves mutilated to appear something like a man (though a really pitiful one) and then proceeded to “marry” another woman.  That’s a public endorsement of everything gender theory has tried to advance for decades.  Once again, a different venue and a different audience yields a different, even contradictory, response.

And as if that were not enough (and this one I’m not ripping off Vox, I found it on my own), it seems it’s become something like open season against the 45 leading Churchmen who had sent a private letter to Francis imploring him to “clarify” the extremely damaging statements of Amoris Laetitia.  That letter was subsequently leaked – very likely from the Vatican itself – and the names of the signatories released.  Those signatories have since been enduring some harsh repercussions from the “peace, love, and brotherhood” side of the Church:

Some of the scholars who sent an appeal to the 218 Cardinals and patriarchs are under fire for urging corrective measures to clarify “a number of statements that can be understood in a sense that is contrary to Catholic faith and morals” in Amoris Laetitia.

A few weeks ago, a letter from Pope Francis surfaced that expressed the Holy Father’s support to the bishops of the Buenos Aires, Argentina, pastoral region that read: “No other interpretation” of Amoris Laetitiais valid, consequently allowing the distribution of Holy Communion to divorced/remarried (Catholics) in some cases — certainly one of the hot topics in question.

Many of the signatories of the scholarly appeal remain anonymous to protect their reputation and jobs. Yet some are still suffering pressure for their attempt to stay faithful to Church teaching and tradition.

LifeSiteNews has gathered information – confirmed by several of the signatories, including the spokesperson, Dr. Joseph Shaw – that one signatory, who is well known internationally,  has lost his position as a director of academic affairs at a Pontifical university.

Another was threatened by his bishop that his academic sabbatical would be canceled, but he found another bishop willing to allow him to begin the process of incardination in his diocese.

Yet another has been forbidden to speak publicly about Amoris Laetitia, and another has been told to rescind his signature.

And a Cardinal put pressure on one of the signatories to withdraw his name.

Call ’em out.  Name names. Document everything possible.  Bring the evidence. Sure, the whistle blower will almost certainly suffer even more, they almost always do, but it would be an immense service to the Church to know just whom is committing these acts of repression.  More than likely, the names will be little surprise.

According to the new religion, everyone is entitled to heaping helpings of mercy, except those worthless Pharisaical Promethean neo-Pelagian adherents of the bad old religion.

Apparently we have two new super-Commandments.  “Thou shalt ecuminate with all thy heart, and all thy soul, and all thy strength,” and the second is like unto it, “Thou shalt not point out the emperor’s nakedness.”

All the Masses below are of course Novus Ordo. There hasn’t been a TLM at the former Sacred Heart Cathedral, now Catedral Santuario de la Virgen de Guadalupe, since Bishop Gorman was the last really solid Bishop of Dallas in the 60s.

But, while some (many?) traditional Catholics continue to harbor reservations regarding the process of canonization for post-conciliar popes, and with the Divine Mercy devotion, there will still probably be significant interest in the availability of first class relics of Saints John Paul II and Faustina for veneration at the Cathedral this Friday October 7 2016.  See details below, via the very generous MJD:

Masses at the Cathedral on Friday:

7:00 AM English

12 Noon English

7:00 PM Spanish

The first class relics of

will be at the Guadalupe Cathedral

(corner of Ross and Pearl St. – downtown Dallas)

on Friday, Oct. 7 2016 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM

with the Divine Mercy Chaplet prayed every hour

and the Sacrament of Confession from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM

Parking is available in the Cathedral parking garage.  Bring your

ticket to the office on the 1st floor to receive another ticket

that will get you out of the garage without paying for parking!

call the Cathedral office for questions: 214-871-1362

I imagine there will be significant crowds at the busier times of day (early morning, lunch, after work).  You might want to plan ahead.  There is free parking also near the Dallas Theater Center and maybe at the Myerson?

Shocking, or not at all? Oregon PUBLIC schools to open satanic clubs October 5, 2016

As if we needed more confirmation that the supposedly sacrosanct “separation of church and state” was really just “get out Christofascists” all along, this report from Oregon that the Parkrose PUBLIC school district have approved the opening of a “satanist club” for children aged 4-12 at Sacramento Elementary School (blaspheming the Blessed Sacrament, of course the satanists would push to have this fireball nightmare evil be first installed there):

The first “After School Satan Club” has just received approval to operate at Sacramento Elementary School in Portland, Oregon.  According to The Oregonian, the Satan Club will begin activities on October 19, 2016.

The Satanic Temple wants to open at least nine Satan Clubs, which would expose young and impressionable children, ages 4 to 12, to the greatest possible spiritual danger — the destructive influence of Hell.

These After School Satan Clubs propose to teach children to:

  • Deny the existence of God
  • Reject the idea of eternal punishment for evil or reward for good
  • Foster unconcern for sin and Hell
  • Replace Christian charity with atheistic humanitarianism
  • Oppose Christian clubs in public schools

There are in Oregon some after-school clubs run by evangelicals.  Whether this Sacramento Elementary has such a club is uncertain.

But that doesn’t mean that my lede was wrong.  There has been a special and particular onus against the presence of Christianity in public schools, whereas other religions such as Mohammadism are given much more latitude.  Now satanists get to open a club and try to such children into a life of hatred, self-abuse, and self-degradation few if any will ever recover from.  Those sins embraced very early are the most difficult to overcome.  Beliefs instilled by authority figures in very young children rapidly form the entire moral-intellectual framework of a child.

God knows what kind of parent would allow their children to be exposed to this, but it’s not a fake.  And the satanists are trying to open as many as a dozen such clubs around the country, in particular, along the West Coast where the process of de-Chrisitianization is as advanced as anywhere in the country.

There is a petition you can sign to oppose this, if the Spirit so moves you.

And as a further sign that the forces of darkness continue to gain more and more power over the populace of this nation, and especially its young people, Columbia University is instituting “no whites allowed” leadership retreats.  So this is what BLM essentially boils down to?  Reverse Jim Crow?  Judging by their rhetoric and actions, it would not be completely surprising:

The “Students of Color Leadership Retreat 2016” is open to students within the Columbia University undergraduate community, including its all-women’s Barnard College.

Slated for the weekend of Nov. 12 at Greenkill Retreat Center at the New York YMCA Camp, the event is billed as “an intensive weekend of personal development, empowerment and community building for student leaders at Barnard and Columbia who identify as African/African-American/Black, Latino/Hispanic, Asian/Asian-American, Pacific Islander, Arab and Middle-Eastern, Native & Indigenous, and Multiethnic/Multiracial,” according to the university’s website as well as the retreat’s online application form.

“SOCLR is designed for students who identify themselves as a person of color as a primary identity,” Columbia’s website adds.

The application asks students to state their gender identity/expression, their gender pronoun, their racial identity, and also answer a few questions on what they plan to gain from attending the retreat, paid for by the private, Ivy League institution. Lodging, food and transportation are provided, the application notes………

……..Asked for additional information, such as whether white students may attend…….

The leftist director of multi-culti indoctrination and forming the vanguard of the proletarian revolution issued a stream of never-ending BS that never explicitly said that whites are not allowed to attend but made clear this event is not for them.  He then also listed a bewildering array of specialized campus support groups for every conceivable aggrieved minority under the sun (including populations that have very little cause for grievance), but there are of course no such groups for whites and especially white males, who everyone knows are responsible for every conceivable evil in the  universe, and without which the earth would instantly revert into a verdant Eden-like paradise.

Yeah baby.  Tell me about my privilege.  How my great-great paternal grandparents lived in a cave for 20 years while homesteading our farm.  How my great-grandfather grew up there breaking new ground with a horse-drawn plow in soil frozen by -10 degree weather.  How my daddy grew up without electricity or running water.
